"Well, you're a good cook, that's one thing I've learned about you." Calum says with a smile. "Tell me more." Luke is ecstatic calums personality is coming through and the boys cheering up.

"Well, I like singing. I was in choir in school, for like, five years. And I play guitar. There's two more." Luke chuckles. "Your turn."

"Um, I play bass and guitar. Annnnd, i played soccer in school. I had the opportunity to get a sports scholarship but I didn't want to go to college or leave the boys." Calum smiles as he explains and Luke nods.

"I suck at sports. And at school, my grades were shit." He chuckles. Calum flinches at hearing the other sub swear.

"You better not say that in front of ash and mike- well, if you sign on a contract." Calum chuckles. "About that..." he trails off so the blonde can inform him what's going on with lukes contract, because he knows his dominants want a contract with Luke.

"They've showed me once but I don't want to sign anything until I know youre okay with me being in this as well." Luke says finally, and after a moments thought, he goes on. "And now, I think we need to talk to them about how they treated you and hear what they have to say because to be honest, if they're going to treat me like they've been treating you- if they don't apologize and fix it- I don't know about being their submissive." Calums surprised at hearing just how unjust Luke views how calums dominants have been treating him. It's never even occurred to him to not be their submissive due to their actions. "I mean, speaking of contracts, if yours is the same as what they gave me, it says if either party engages with another dom or sub without the other persons permission than the victimized party has the right to terminate the contract." Calum didn't know that. He's read the contract since signing but he didn't remember that. "So they should know better than to act like that."

Calum Likes that Luke has a sense of justice for calums sake, he thinks Luke would make a great boyfriend. "Do you think that means they'd be mad at me if I messed around with you right now? While we're all alone 'getting to know eachother?'" Calum says with a smirk as he takes another bite of his sandwich.

"Are you flirting with me Calum hood?" Luke smiles and Calum giggles, swallowing before answering.

"Maybe." Calum smiles and lets his face go a little closer to lukes. Luke laughs and shoves a strawberry in the maoris mouth and the boy pouts playfully and bites down on it.

The two mess around for a while, walking around the field once they've finished eating and picking flowers, Calum showing Luke how to make a flower crown, and then Luke takes Calum a bit deeper into the woods where there's a little pond with some ducks.

They stay there until it's beginning to get dark, at which point they're cuddling with the picnic blanket wrapped around them and talking. Calum is ignoring the texts from Ashton a Michael asking if everything's okay and when they'll be back because Luke has made him realize just how awful he's been treated and now he's mad at them again.

"I hate to end the happy conversation and go back to the sad stuff but really Calum, we should talk to them about how they've been treating you. It really wasn't okay, you may be their submissive but that doesn't mean you don't have rights or can't have opinions and emotions." Luke says. His hands are entwined with calums and he's sitting kind of criss cross, with Calum sitting between his legs with his legs wrapped around Lukes waist and ankles crossed behind the blondes back.

"Yeah. We can talk to them when we get back. They're kind of hard to talk to sometimes though. You'll be with me?" He asks worriedly. Luke smiles and nods reassuringly, finding Calum adorable.

"Of course. We won't let them speak over us. We have to tell them how wrong they are as adults talking to adults, not as submissives talking to dominants. I don't know about you Calum, but I'm not going to be with them if they're not willing to admit they're wrong and change. I want to be with you, though. And before I knew this I wanted to be with them." Luke admits.

Calum smiles, moving to lay his head onto lukes shoulder and Luke does the same. "They're not always like this, this is the first time- this is the worst thing they've ever done. They're super caring and loving and sweet. They're really good, patient dominants. They're strict but they're very loving. I think they just kind of got blinded by excitement when I came to you and weren't able to be sympathetic and understand that I didn't know you yet and wasn't excited and didn't think about how it would make me feel. I mean, I think if we just ask them how they'd feel if I just introduced them to someone I wanted to be my new dom theyd understand they were wrong."

"Why haven't you then?" Luke frowns, wishing the boy would stand up for himself.

"Because, I didn't want to fight or take you away from them or anything. And I didn't want them to keep telling me they were disappointed in me and making me feel like a bad sub for having those feelings. I don't know." Calum sighs.

"You need to look out for yourself. And you're not a bad sub at all." Luke tells him and he smiles. He feels his phone vibrating and grabs it, seeing michaels name and answering it with a sigh.

"Hey." The Maori says.

"Hey, why aren't you answering our texts? Is everything okay?" Michael asks worriedly.

"We're fine, we're just... having fun. I wasn't checking my phone." Calum excuses. He hears a relieved sigh.

"You're being good? Getting along?" Michael assures and Calum sighs and nods, though Michael can't see.

"Yes, Michael. Listen, we all need to talk when we get back." Calum says nervously.

"Yeah? Alright. When will that be?" Michael asks, sounding suspicious.

"Not much longer, it's getting cold." Calum sighs.

"Alright. See you soon. Love you, baby."

"Love you." Calum replies. He hangs up and looks to Luke who gives him a hopeful smile.

"Should we go?" Luke asks and Calum sighs.

"I guess." They stand and walk to lukes car, hand in hand.

"If anything goes wrong, you can come stay at mine, okay?" Luke assures as he notices calums knee bouncing on the way home. Calum nods, smiling, and thanks the blonde.
