The Clans known as today, SparrowClan, DoveClan, OwlClan and HawkClan's tale is still being passed down. Long ago, the Clans suffered in the cold during leaf-bare- yes, every Clan does but this is no ordinary cold. These is freezing, and there is barely any prey. It was even chilly in Green-leaf. 

But the Cats of the 4 Clans started noticing were the birds, moving South. No cat knew why. But it was their prey, they couldn't all fly away! The leaders thought this may be an Omen. So they followed the birds, moving South. Each Clan chose a different bird to follow. RoseClan chose the beautiful Dove. DarkClan chose the strong Hawk. ThornClan chose the brave Sparrow. And WaveClan chose the smart Owl.

Once they moved far, far from the North, things got warmer. Much happier. Prey was more common, and white and green cough were not. These Clans were now happy, and glad to have migrated. SO they decided to thank the birds, by naming their Clans after them

The Clans lived around a lake, the beautiful clear crisp water, the legendary forest, the beautiful marches, the stretching hills were their home. 

RoseClan became DoveClan, in honor of the Dove. They thank it for it's beauty in generosity and keeping peace among the Clans.

ThornClan became SparrowClan, in honor of the Sparrow. They thank it for it's bravery and loyalty.

WaveClan became OwlClan, in honor of the Owl. They thank it for its wisdom and courage.

DarkClan became HawkClan, in honor of the Hawk. They thank it for it's strength and order.

Even though they are different, together, they are the South Winged Clans.

These Clan's are happy, and have been that way for many, many moons. Not many live to tell the tale. It took generosity, peace, bravery, loyalty, wisdom, courage, strength and order to be capable of their move. The Clan's are different, in climate and skills. It took them all together to make the journey. Their paws lead them to where their heart was happy and strong.
