After getting down at the airport in Adelaide, the five of us got into one car as we drove to the twin's parents home. The evening Australian sun was setting slowly, sending a glow over the entire sky. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" Amaya breathed, looking outside through the same window. "Breathtaking..." I said. Half an hour later, we slowed to a stop in front of an apartment complex. "Home sweet home!" Leo said, helping us get our luggage out. "It's still nice of your parents to invite us to spend Christmas break with them!" i said to Greg. "No big deal! She's been dying to meet you!" he replied with a smile. "Wait till you see them!" Leo said. Even though he was adopted and stuff, he still called them Mom and Dad, and every time he spoke about them, his eyes shined, which in turn made me smile. "Come on!" Nate said and hurried to the elevator and clicked a button. The doors closed and we went up, not even making a sound. I was kinda nervous, since we were talking about my roommate's parents, but still excited. "We're on the 10th floor. Hope you're not afraid of heights!" Nate said with a laugh. "Heights? Never. KC flies remember?" Amaya replied and started laughing herself. I shook my head and checked my watch. The elevator dinged and stopped. "Come on!! This way!" Leo said and went out. The rest of us followed him. He hit the doorbell.

"Leo honey!!!!" I heard a lady squeal and pull him into a tight hug. "Oh look at you! Oh Greg! Nate!! How much you've grown!" and she pulled all three of them into a group. "Hey mom!" Nate said and out his arms around him again. From where Amaya and I stood well out of sight, giggling slightly, I could see the lady. She too had the same hair as the twins, but beautiful hazel eyes. "They're so adorable!" Amaya whispered, a little too loudly. The lady at the door put her head out the door and looked straight at us. "You must be the girls I've heard so much about! Welcome to Australia! Come here you two!" and she pulled us both into a hug as well. "Thank you for inviting us over Miss Anderson! I'm Kiara!" I said and shook her hand after she let go of us. "I'm Amaya!" said Amaya. "Ah it was no trouble at all! And please, call me Reina! Come in!" she said and opened the door wider to let us all in. "Where's Dad?" Leo asked as he shut the door. "Out for his usual evening jog with Banner." she said. "Who's Banner?" Amaya asked Nate. "Our dog!" he replied. 

"Come this way! Is it alright if you have a joined room with the boys?" she asked us as she led us to a bedroom which had two doors. "Let me know if you want to switch spots!" she said and left us. The boys had gone into the room next to ours. "Where does this door lead?" Amaya asked me and pushed it open. "Hi there!" I heard Greg from the other side. "So that's the joint! Cool!" she said and continued chatting with Greg. I shook my head and went out the actual door into the spacious living room. I saw Miss Anderson sitting with something. "Excuse me Miss Anders- I mean Reina, ummm, but could I have a glass of water, please?" I asked her. She looked at me and smiled. "Of course dear! Come with me!" she said and I followed her into the kitchen. "I heard you're the element of fire." she said. I turned to look at her in confusion. "You know? About that?" I asked her. "Of course I do dear!" she said and laughed. "I'm sorry, it was impolite of me to ask." I said and looked down in embarrassment. "Ah sweetie! It's alright!" she said and gave me a bottle. "Help yourself dear!" she said and waved at me and went back. I smiled after her. She reminded me of my own mom, and it filled my eyes with tears again.

"There you are!" I heard a voice and I jumped slightly. Wiping my eyes quickly, I turned and saw Leo. "Hey there!" he said. "Hi." I said, and I guess he heard the sadness in my voice because he came further into the kitchen. "Is something wrong?" he asked me, with worry. "No it's just, your mom reminds me a lot of mine, so I just, well, remembered her." I said. He smiled sympathetically at me. "Anyway, you were searching for me?" I asked him. "Oh yeah, mom said that it's better we have an early night today, you know because of the flight and stuff. We'll show around the house and stuff tomorrow!" he said and put his arm around me, as we left the kitchen. "Sure! That's a great idea!" I said and drank some water. As usual when I drank water when I was calm, I floated a little above the ground. But for now, I didn't go back down because I missed the feeling of floating. "Woah there Sparkles! Could've given me a warning!" he said, laughing. "Come on! If we want to stay energized for tomorrow, we better go now!" I said and pulled him to the doors. "No matter what, you'll be energized all right, even without sleep!" he said and waved at me before going into his room. "'Night Aquaboy!"  I said and went into mine and Amaya's room.
