It was the next morning, and the friends got up bright and early to go to Sunset Stables. They put on their equestrian outfits and met at the gate. Kimberly whistled and Ace and the others came galloping over. For some reason, Natalie wasn't there to see them out.

"Here, take these." Ezra said, handing Kimberly something.

Kimberly took them, and saw that they were earpieces. She passed them to her friends, and they put them on.

"Keep in touch with the earpieces." Ezra said, pointing to his.

"Got it." the friends said.

"Alright, good luck, and be careful." Angelica said.

They all smiled and nodded. Kimberly kicked Ace and she started running with the others following. Ezra and Angelica went to the cafeteria, and powered up the tablet that was connected to Kimberly's necklace.

"Hey guys, you hear us?" Ezra asked.

"Loud and clear, Ez." Violet said.

"Hey Kim. About what you said yesterday, you know, about Natalie. Do you really think it was her?" Angelica asked.

"Like I said, I don't know for sure. The blood is bleeding through, and it's leaving a really big stain. Even I don't want to believe it's true," Kimberly replied.

"Not to be rude Kim, but you still haven't answered our question yesterday," Samuel said.

"Which was?"

"Why did someone destroy the statue five years later after the Sounds of Thunder disappearance?"

"Oh... to be honest, I don't know. Sorry guys."

"It's okay. We're all stressed out about this, too. None of us know the answer to that." Zachary said.

Kimberly smiled sweetly at him. The friends continued to walk on their designated path, and on their way, they passed Blackmane Manor, and saw Elizabeth grooming her horse, Kaiba.

"Morning Liz!" Kimberly called out.

She turned around, and waved.

"Off to find Kanan, I presume?" Elizabeth asked.

"Yup." Samuel said.

"Good luck, you guys!"

The friends waved and continued on the path. They made their way through Pinewood Forest and the smell of fresh pine filled the air.

"It smells just like Christmas." Violet said.

"It's the end of July, and you're talking about Christmas, Vi? Sometimes you are too funny." Samuel said.

The sound of laughter could be heard from the earpieces.

"Okay you two, that's enough." Violet said.

"Sorry Violet, but that was priceless." Ezra said, still laughing.

Violet rolled her eyes and turned to her friends, to see them laughing as well.

"You guys are no good!" Violet said, trying to contain her own laughter.

The friends only laughed harder at her reaction. Violet couldn't help it, and laughed along with her friends. When the got to Pinewood Pastures, it was dark. Dominic welcomed them in, and gave them a dorm to spend the night. The next morning came, and the friends were continuing their way to Sunset Stables. Kimberly took out the map, and read it.

"Is there anything we need to be careful with before we get to Sunset Stables?" Kimberly asked.

"Yeah, there's a ravine. About thirty feet across. Don't worry, there's a stone bridge for you to get across." Ezra said.

"Okay... phew, that's a relief." Zachary said.

"Okay, keep in touch. We'll call you when we're at the stables."

"Got it. Over and out." Angelica said.

Kimberly kicked Ace and she started walking with the others in tow. Then, they saw a faint glow.

"Guys, Barbell's charm is glowing!" Samuel said.

"That means we're getting close to Sunset Stables." Kimberly said.

"And Kanan! Let's go!" Zachary said.

Kimberly kicked Ace and she started running with the others in tow. They all soon stopped when they reached the bridge. In the distance, a western style looking stable could be seen.

"I can see Sunset Stables from here!" Samuel said.

"That's good. Let's go." Kimberly instructed.

Kimberly kicked Ace lightly, and she walked onto the bridge. The bridge was holding up very nicely. The friends made it across safely, and picked up the pace to get to Sunset Stables. When the arrived, they walked through a wooded gate, with a sign that read, "Sunset Stables."

"Guys, check out Barbell's charm. It's glowing brighter!" Violet said.

"This is it, gang. Let's move." Kimberly instructed.

"Yeah... Don't worry Kanan, we'll find you." Zachary said.
