Strength of Ten Horses
"Great job, Barbell!" Zachary said.
It was early in the morning, and Zachary and Barbell were at the race track pulling heavy carts and wagons. They made a promise to each other that they will help one another get stronger. Then, Samuel, Violet, and Kimberly showed up.
"Hey Zach. What are you up to?" Samuel asked.
"Oh, hey guys. I was just helping Barbell get stronger. He's doing amazingly well," Zachary said.
"Well, he has pulled over a thousand pounds. So anything less is like pulling a wagon filled with twenty stacks of paper, all equally measured."
"Sam's right. Why are you training him?" Kimberly asked.
"Because I know he can get stronger, and reach his limits. But I promise, I won't push him too far."
"Good." Violet said.
Barbell came back around, and nudged his forehead on Zachary's back. Zachary turned around, and chuckled.
"Great job, Barbell." Zachary said, taking off the wagon.
"Early morning training I see." said a voice behind them.
The friends turned around and saw Angelica and Ezra.
"Morning you two." Kimberly said.
"Morning. So, did we walk into a training session or...?" Ezra asked.
"Nah, I was getting Barbell here stronger," Zachary replied.
"That's good, because he's going to need that little extra boost," Angelica said.
"For what?" Samuel asked.
"The Annual Grand Meadows Estate Fair."
"The... what?" Kimberly asked.
