=Skyler's POV=

It was early in the morning. Nightmare Steve, my master, had called me to the throne room, so I stood obediently by his throne and awaited orders as Nightmare Steve lounged on the throne bordley. I looked around the room, then out the window at the water.

I yelped as a loud crash from downstairs with heard. "Skyler," Nightmare ordered, "Go see what that was." I ran out of the room, and as I was leaving, I heard Nightmare mutter, "If it's Reverse, I swear I'll kill him..."

As I was making my way downstairs, Reverse crashed into me, causing both of us to fall to the floor. "Oh, Skyler! I'm so sorry!" Reverse said, jumping up and helping me up as well. "Uhm... We have intruders!"

I got up and rushed back to the throne room, Reverse hot on my trail. "INTRUDERS!!!" I shouted, waving my arms. "INTRUDERS IN THE PALACE!!!" Nightmare shot up. "Reverse, go get weapons. Now." Nightmare Steve ordered, pulling out his sword. "A sword for you and knives for Skyler."

Reverse ran out to get the weapons. "What do I do?" I asked. Nightmare glanced at me. "Get behind me until Rev comes back. I'll protect you." He told me. I did as I was told, glancing outside. It was storming.

Reverse ran in with a few knives and a sword, giving me the knives. Rev and I flanked each side of Nightmare, ready to fight the intruders. The atmosphere was tense as we waited. I gulped nervously, eyeing the windows in fear of someone coming through them instead.

Waiting. A few minutes passed. Waiting. It seemed like hours. Waiting. We never let our guards down. Nightmare looked at the two of us, then back forward to the large doors. Something felt off, and Nightmare and Reverse seemed to notice too.

"GET DOWN!" Nightmare shouted? pushing Reverse and I to the ground. A huge explosion blew off the doors and chunks of netherbrick? The debris flying over our bodies. The three of us stood up before the dust settled to face the intruders. We all were ready to fight.

Two figures were seeing through the dust. There was a girl in a green outfit, her green hair covering one eye and in a ponytail, then there was a guy with red wavy hair in a crimson-colored outfit. Both had burn scars on their bodies.

Both of their eyes locked onto me. "SKYLER!?" They shouted. I growled and backed up. "H-how do you know my name!?" I worried. Nightmare smacked me on the cheek lightly. "Don't talk to them." He said. "Only fight, got it?" I nodded.

The guy whispered something to the girl, then they both charged. The guy went to attack Reverse and Nightmare, the girl coming at me. She crouched and touched the floor, plants springing up through the netherbrick tiles. The plants grew around my ankles and went all the way up to my shoulders, tightening and bringing me down.

They wrapped around my arms, legs, and head, keeping me from moving. I squirmed helplessly against the plants as they covered my mouth and held me down. I watched the girl go help the guy, before an explosion went off, everything going black.
