=Thea's POV=

I hissed at Crim as he tried to feed me. I'd seen The Nightmare King capture Skyler as Crim was pulling me away from the scene. I had never really been this mad before. I just felt like I could've done something to help Skyler, to rescue him. I could've helped him fight back too...

I took the apple from my older friend and bit into it violently, causing Crim to back up. "You seem really mad..." He commented nervously. "NO DUH!" I screamed, throwing the apple at him. He yelped and dodged.

I stood. "I know you said not to go after him, after Skyler, but I can't help feeling he's in grave danger! He could DIE!" I exclaimed. Crim inched closer to me.

"Thea, it's a relly bad decision to go after him..." Crim started. I threw my watter bottle to the floor. "But... I'm going if you are." I looked at him. "Really?" I asked. Crim nodded. "Let's go get our friend back."
