=Lucas's POV=

I completed the portal. What attempt was this...? I looked at all the other faoled portals. Attempt 23! I groaned. This was the most complicated one of them all, too. I had designed it s it would specifically lock on to Sabre's location. "C'mon... work, please!" I begged, flipping the lever.

The portal lit up with a golden-blue blast of light. I blinked away the flash-blindness, looking at the portal. It worked! I smiled, then took a fern, tied it to a rope, and threw it in. I waited a few seconds, then pulled it back though. The fern looked fine, so the dimention must've been safe. I poked my head though the portal to see a hallway of netherbrick.

I stepped though carefully and began looking around. Was I in the Nether? I passed by a window and looked outside. I almost screamed. I was in the Nightmare Dimension...? I started to run. C'mon, Sabre, you gotta be around here somewhere... I thought.

As I searched, I started to get worried. What if Sabre isn't here? Why would Sabre be in this dimension? Did Nightmare Steve capture him? Was the portal wrong? What if Sabre joined Nightmare Steve? No! He wouldn't do that.... would he?

I turned a corner and came to a sudden stop as I saw-- I blinked. RAINBOW!? "R-Rainbow Steve...?" I asked. Rainbow turned around to look at me. That.... That wasn't Rainbow Steve! His colors were all weird! "Who are you?" The guy asked. "NOPE!" I shouted, running the other way. I made twists and turns thoughout the palace back to the portal, and just as I was about to make it...

"Nightmare St-Steve...."
