(Seamus P.O.V)

I opened the door to my room and saw the girl huddled in the corner. I went to my bed and sat down. "Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you; as long as you don't attack me that is. Here eat something."

I tossed her the sandwich and watched as she looked at is with caution and hesitation. I shrugged 'at least she's smart'. "Don't worry it's safe, probably."

'Hopefully Ben didn't make it, might be rigged if he did'. "W-what do y-you mean probably? Who are you? Where am I? What happened to th-"

Seamus:"Hold it, take a deep breath *inhale and exhale* now what I meant was that I didn't make that sandwich but it seems fine. You don't need my name, and you are at a house. The bullies are dead and you aren't in any immediate danger. Did I miss anything?"

She shook her head and slowly bit into the sandwich, but not until her stomach growled. "Now I have a few questions for you. What is your name? why did those guys tie you to a tree? And do you know your ancestry?"

She looked at me for a second and then to the ground. "M-my name is Clare Wright, others pick on me because of my hair and eye. There's the myth of gingers with red hair and gold eyes having no soul, they figured if it's true then someone with no soul wouldn't feel pain. Why do you want to know my ancestry? What use would that be?"

I just shook my head; I could still sense her soul was there. 'What idiot thinks that no soul equals no pain anyway?'. "Well I can safely say that you still have a soul. But as to your ancestry, did you have a great grandma hundreds of years ago named Maria Wright?"

Clare:"I-I'm not sure, I don't know much about my family history; and my parents only told me about my great grandparents."

I sighed. "I figured as much; that was a really big long shot."

I took off the black leather gloves I had on and moved words her. She tried backing up, but just hit the wall. "Don't worry I'm not going to hurt you, take my hand."

She cautiously reached out her hand and touched mine. I immediately used one of the souls I had recently "acquired" to read hers. By destroying one I could know all I want about the other. I looked through until I found what I wanted. Her soul had little bits of the souls of her ancestors. There was a little speck in the back that belonged to Maria wright. I pulled away as Clare backed away in fear. "W-what are you?!"

I forgot my eyes glowed a bright gold when I used a soul for power. "Well I guess I'm your super great uncle on your fathers side. Pleasure to see some family is still alive, I'm Seamus. I'm what you would call a soulless. I look and act like a human, but I have to eat souls to live. I'm basically the original 'ginger' as far as the no soul myth goes. Don't worry though, since you are family I won't be taking your soul."

She looked like she was had a brain crash. "Oops might have been too much at once."

Clare:"S-So were related, and at your house, But you won't kill me?"

Seamus:"Yes, no, yes. This is actually Slenderman's house, I just live here."

She seemed to pale really quickly. "T-the s-slenderman? The one who controls and kills people, That slenderman?"

I smirked. "Eh don't worry, he's out right now so you'll be fine. Now when yo-"

The door slammed open and Toby came in. "Goldie Slender is back. Who is that with you? Is she a hostage, or a meal for later, oh or a new friend?"

Seamus:"*Whisper* I swear to who ever is listening that I'm gonna kill him. Hey Toby, what did I say about calling me Goldie? And don't worry she's leaving soon."

Toby shook a little. "You might have said...not to."

I nodded. "Now go, And knock next time!"

Toby bolted out the door and down the hall. I shook my head when I saw the door still open, I turned back to Clare. "Well we better get you home before I get in trouble for bringing you here. But first, you have to swear on your soul not to tell anyone about me or anyone else here, not even the house."

She nodded really fast. "I swear, I don't even know anyone who would listen."

I nodded and helped her up. "Stay behind me and don't make a sound."

She nodded and I lead her down the stairs. When we reached the bottom I looked around the corner where the front door was. 'All clear, now just to get through the door undetected'. I gestured her to follow, but ran into someone as soon as I turned the corner. I looked up to see slenderman's faceless...face? Looking at me. "You brought a human into my house? You are an idiot, why shouldn't I kill her?"

I sighed and could tell Clare was shaking in fear. I leaned in and whispered in his ear. "She is family, and might have the same 'problem' I have."

I could tell he was not liking this. "Did you at least get her to swear on her soul?"

Seamus:"Yes, what do you take me for, an idiot?"

Slender:"Fine she can stay if her abilities develop."

I nodded and turned to Clare. "How old are you?"

Clare:"16, Why?"

I nodded. 'So any day now she could start developing powers'. "Do you have anywhere to be, or anyone who would worry about you, for the next two weeks?"

Clare:"N-no, I'm an orphan and school ended today. That's why those guy could drag me to the woods without any teachers asking questions, why?"

Seamus:"Well you will need to stay here for that time so I can monitor you. I got my 'abilities' at 16...I think. Since you are related there is a chance you will have them start to develop; but it takes a few years for it to completely develop."

Clare:"So you think I'm going to develop the same thing you have. How?"

Seamus:"Not sure, every now and then I've seen another person in the family develop the ability. It skips a couple generations, but I haven't met one for two hundred years, give or take a decade."

Clare:"Where are the other ones like you?"

Seamus:"Dead probably, most got cocky or died before their abilities completely developed. So I'm going to keep an eye on you until they develop and for the next two weeks You have to stay here just Incase a sign appears."

She seemed a little nervous. "Ok but I need to get my clothes from the orphanage."

I sighed. "We can go in a few hours, they should be asleep around midnight. If not then I get a free meal."

She was about say something when Jeff came up and put his arm around her. "So I hear your staying wi*crack* GOD DAMN IT!!"

I started laughing my ass of when Clare instinctively swung her arm back in surprise. She ended up breaking his nose from the sound and look of it. "Sorry you surprised me, are you ok?"

Jane walked by. "Don't apologize, he deserves it."

Jeff heard that apparently. "Yeah yeah, laugh it up bitch!"

Jane really did not like that. I stepped in, still laughing, and looked at Jeff. "Here let me fix that."

I grabbed his nose and snapped it back into place. He immediately grabbed his nose. "Fuck, fuck, fuck. You son of a bitch!"

I just shook my head with the biggest smirk. "Hey Jane does that look straight to you?"

She seemed to get the hint, as she walked up to Jeff. "Now that you mention it, it seems slightly crooked."

She grabbed his hand then forcefully turned his nose. 'Definitely back out of place'. "YOU DUMB C-"

She knocked him out before he could finish. "I hate that guy."

Seamus:"That made my day."

Jane shook her head but smiled. "Made mine better at least; I should've kick him the nuts though."

I inwardly cringed. "Maybe next time."

Clare just looked at us like we were crazy. Jane walked up to her. "So who are you? If you got Seamus to vouch for you then you must be special."

She blushed and looked down. "No I'm not special, just average, my names Clare Wright."

Jane put out her hand. "Jane the killer.piece of advice, try to ignore Jeff there as much as you can, he's insufferable."

Clare nodded and shook her hand. "I hope you don't mind me asking, but I thought you wore a mask? Am I wrong?"

Jane:"I use to, but Seamus here fixed me up, eyes are still pitch black though."

I shrugged. "You look lovely though."

Jane smirked. "Don't make me tell EJ you are flirting with other women."

I reddened. "I wasn't flirting, was I? Don't tell her anything like that please."

Jane chuckled and walked away. "Is there any chocolate left?"

Seamus:"Check the bottom drawer of the fridge, next to the kidneys."

Jane:"Thanks."

Clare:"Kidneys?"

Seamus:"Eyeless Jack and his sister Eyeless Jackie have to eat them for sustenance."

She nodded and looked around the room. "Well make yourself comfortable, we leave in 3 or so hours. If anyone bothers you come to me or, if it's Jeff, Jane and we'll help. I'm gonna grab a drink."
