Later that night, Day's POV 

tonight was the honored party for my aunt and uncle. I wanted to see if Slay would be my dance. I walked over to Slay's room and knocked on the door. 

: Slay, I wanted to ask if you would like to be my dance date, I know I asking a little late"

the door opened and Slay gently pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back

Slay: I wanted to ask you the same thing but I could not figure out how"

I buried my face in his chest, I felt my dress touch the back of my leg. 

Slay: I would be honored to be your date"

I smiled and gently kissed his cheek. He kissed my cheek back. I went back to the girl's room and got ready. 

Sunra: did you get your date?"

: yes"

Sakura: me too"

: who?"

Sakura: Ruin"

: wow, I asked Slay"

Sunra: wow, It's he your crush?"

:*blushes deep red* who told you?!"

Sunra: your keep book"

I grabbed my book and hide it in my suitcase. Sunra and Sakura started getting ready. I put my hair in a bun and fixed my dress. 

Sakura: a phoenix dress?"

: yes, my grandmother gave it to me, she wanted me to have something of my mothers"

 Sakura: it's really pretty"

: thanks"

at the party, No One's POV 

everyone was talking and dancing. Day was standing near the window, she was too shy to be near the people her. Slay walked over to her. 

Slay: what is a pretty girl like you does by yourself?"

Day: I'm too shy"

Slay gently touched Day's hands. Day looked at Slay. Slay walked Day over to the dance floor and gently placed a hand on her side. Day placed a hand on his shoulder. Slay started dancing slowly. Day looked at Slay and matched his steps. Slay gently pulled Day close to him. Day gently placed her head on his chest. 

Slay: can I ask you something"

Day: sure"

Slay: do you like anyone?"

Day: I do, he has amazing powers like me"

Slay: he is super lucky, I like a girl but she is super shy and I don't know how she feels about me"

Day walked Slay out to the balcony. 

Day: can you close your eyes?"

Slay: sure"

Slay closed his eyes. Day closed her eyes and kissed him, Slay was shocked at first but slowly kissed her back, the others saw was that happening and started taking pictures. 

Space: love birds!"

Day and Slay stopped kissing, Day turned into her Phoenix form and flew off with tears in her eyes. 

Space's POV 

everyone from the group looked at me like I said something. 

: what?"

Sakura: you hurt Day's feeling and now we don't know where she went!"

: I was just saying the truth"

Slay: Darkness falls, I call forth Lunala"

a night dragon landed near him. 

Lunala: yes master?"

Slay: we need to find my friend Day, Sakura, Flameria let's go"

Sakura and Flameria got on the dragon's back and they flew off into the night. 

Sunra summoned a winged demon and followed them. did I really hurt her feeling?"

Sunra's POV 

I was following the dragon. the winged Demon flew next to the dragon. 

: where should we go?"

Sakura: I don't know"

Flameria: somewhere that has light"

Winged: master there is a house with a light"

: take me down there"

the winged demon took me down the house. an old lady was sitting outside. 

Nova: if you are looking for Day, she is here but not in a good mood"

: can I talk to her?"

Nova: upstairs to the left"

I went inside and went to the room Nova told me about. I saw Day crying. I gently touched her back. Day looked at me. 

: hi Day"

Day: Sunra..how did you find me?"

: that's easy, Flameria said you would be somewhere with light"

Day: my grandmother told me I could stay here, until my eyes changed back to normal"

: that day your eyes turn black"

Day: apart of a curse I have"

:* I noticed she was wearing nightclothes* are you going to stay here?"

Day: I was thinking about it* we heard a knock* who is it?"

Slay: Slay"

Day got up and opened the door, Slay walked in the room. Day sat down on the bed.  

: are we leaving?"

Slay: no, there is a storm coming this way, Nova wants everyone in the basement of the house"

we went to the basement, Day grabbed a few pillows and blankets. we heard lighting and Day whimpered a little. Slay walked over to her and hugged her, she calmed down

Slay's POV

Day buried her face in my chest, I gently rubbed her back.

: are you scared of thunder?"

Day nodded yes in my chest, I kept her close to me. 3 hours later, Day cuddled in my chest. I placed a blanket over her she moved closer to me. I smiled and gently kissed her head.

Sunra: is it true that you are the only Breaker left?"

Nova: no, there is one more Breaker. He is my younger son Ralph Breaker, he lives in the north part of the city"

Sunra: where the school is?"

Nova: yes"

I pulled my phone out and typed Ralph Breaker in the search bar.

" Ralph Breaker married into Destiny family, he has three daughters"

That helps a little bit. I looked down at Day and saw she was smiling in her sleep. 

1 year later, Day's POV 

it's been one year since I moved here. I walked over to my friend Slay's house. I knocked on the door. Slay opened the door and let me in. he looks like he did not get any sleep.

: have you gotten any sleep lately?"

Slay: I been having a lot of nightmares"

: do you want to stay here with you?"

Slay: please"

: I will"

we went to his room. I could tell he loves dragons. I sat down on his bed and Slay gently placed his head on my lap. I gently moved his hair away from his eyes, Slay smiled and started to fall asleep.
