Day's POV

I was on my way to my uncle's mansion, I looked down at my arms and saw the burn marks.

The Driver: don't worry Miss. Day, the boss's wife can treat that burn of yours"

: may I ask you something"

Driver: sure"

: what is like working for my uncle and his family?"

Driver: your uncle is super nice. his wife Aurora loves asking me for ideas for things. their daughter Sapphire loves going out and helping the school"

we made it to the mansion. I saw a man standing near the door. he walked over and opened the door. I slowly got out of the limo. the guy walked me in the door. there were two lines of workers looking at me. my aunt and uncle were standing on the top of the stairs. I looked at my uncle. he walked down to me and hugged me

Nate:  I'm so sorry you went through"

I started crying in his chest. he started rubbing my back. 

later that day, I could hear my uncle talking to someone on the phone. my cousin walked into my room. 

Sapphire: hey Day"

: hi Sapphire"

Sapphire: I know a change lifestyle is scary. me and a few friends are going shopping do you want to join?"

: please"

we went outside and saw the limo. the man from before opened the door and we got in. I saw two girls and two guys. 

Sapphire: Day, I want you to meet my friends* she pointed to the girls* Cali and Sanru(Anime_Bxby22) the boys are Ruin and Slay"

Ruin: you must be the cousin Sapphire tells us about"

:.. I'm.." 

Sapphire: excuse me, driver, can you take us to the northern mall, I want to take my cousin shopping"

Drive: yes my lady"

the limo started to move. 

Slay's POV 

Day was looking out the window. I walked over to her and gently touched her hand. 

: are you okay?"

Day: no"

: do you want to talk about it?"

Day: please*she looks at me* a few days ago, my mom and dad were killed in a fire, I was the only one who survived the fire"

I gently pulled her into a hug. she buried her face in my chest. 

: I'm sorry for your loss"

Day: thank you"

Sanru: Slay, do you think she is one of us?"

Ruin: she is but she has no clue"

Sanru: Ruin, what do you mean?"

Ruin: her powers are trapped by fear"

: the house fire"

Ruin: yes"

Sapphire: it will take a while for her to use that power"

we made it to the northern mall. 

Cali: the girls will take Day shopping for clothes and anything she needs, you boys can do what you want"

me and Ruin went to the magic store and looked for familiar cards. the headmaster wanted to keep back guards at the school. 

: how is your familiar?"

Ruin: Space is really good, my father is teaching me the Keeper's secret power"

: wow, have you masted it yet?"

Ruin: not yet, the last step is to face a shadow demon"

: there is only one problem. the shadow demons have been locked away for years, there are rare times that the shadow lock breaks"

Ruin: and when that does I will beat it and gain my family power"

we got the familiars card and met the girls at a food store in the mall. a pizza place. Sapphire's phone went off. she walked away

: how are you feeling Day?"

Day: I feel much better, thank you so for this day"

Sanru: anything for a friend"

Day: are we friends?"

Cali: yea, you are a nice girl"

Day: thank you guys so much"

Ruin looked at his phone and smiled

Cali: Ruin, you are smiling"

Ruin: an old friend is back from training. I asked her to join us here if that is okay with you guys"

Cali: if she nice, she is welcome to our group

??: Ruin?"

Ruin stood up and looked at the girl. 

Ruin: Sakura!"

Ruin run over to her and hugged her. 

Sakura's POV(felina_feriko)

I hugged Ruin back

: you are something else, Ruin"

Ruin: Space, come forth!"

His familiar appeared.

: Flameria, come forth!"

My familiar appeared too.

Space: Hello, ladies"

: hi Space, wow you have grown since the last time I saw you"

Space: yes I have Miss Sakura"

Flameria: you must be Ruin and Space "

Ruin: that's us, but there are more people I want you to meet* we walked over to a group of people* everyone this is Sakura and Flameria"

??1: who's the guy?*she sounded a little scared*"

Ruin: don't worry, he won't hurt you, that's Space"

??2: Ruin, we were about to tell Day, our ability"

Ruin: that's a perfect idea, I will start, Day.  Space is my familiar* he showed her, his family mark* my family is the Keepers and they are shadow demons"

Day looks at the others.

Cali's POV

: Day, my familiar is normal demons,  but my father's side is the most demons, I have two last names Song and Fear, I'm a demon"

Slay: and the same goes for me. I have two last names, Wolf and Fireheart. On my mother side of the family is all dragons, that's why *he breathes a little fire* I'm a dragon"

Sunra: I'm a demon, I don't know which half has it"

Sapphire:*gently took Day's hand in hers* I know this is a lot to take in but you have to trust us about this, you are telling the truth, my father and mother are spirits keepers, I'm one too"

Day: everyone has an ability?"

Ruin: yes, Sakura please tell everyone yours"

Sakura: okay, my name is Sakura Drakezer, I'm a demon dragon. Flameria is my familiar, my father I don't anything about, when I was younger they were killed"

Day: I'm so sorry for your loss, my mom and dad was killed a few days ago in a house fire"

Slay: she moved in with her uncle and his family"
