I knew I should have trusted my gut feeling when I left that kid to bring that adorable kitten home, and also for Hizashi for yelling at me and almost making me deaf but it was worth it.

After bringing the kitten home, I get an emergency phone call and when I answered it, it was basically a distress call having the immediate area of heroes to investigate the location given to us.

Once I know the location, I started to head that way until I smell smoke.

Searching with eyes for the source, I see house that was set on fire.

I set a new course and was heading towards the house to help the evacuation and any need of rescue.

Once I got there, I saw the hero team Water Hose putting out the fire from spreading but by the looks of it, they can't put out the main source of the fire.

I started helping out the evacuation team with the civilians, and when I deemed that the civilians are out of the way I turned around to go help the rescue team.

When I turned around, I saw the main house collapsing in on itself and but before the house can collapse, I sense a quirk manifestation within the house.

It confused me why I can feel someone quirk manifesting but now that I think about it, I can tell if someone's quirk is turned off or not thanks to my experience of erasing quirks to take out villains.

But what really worried was after that realization that meant someone was still within the house, and it seemed they haven't escaped yet.

"Attention everyone, we need to search for any survivors within the wreckage of the house, if we find anyone, then immediately bring them to the ambulance."

Then every hero, including me, start to search for any survivors within this burnt down house.

After an hour, we were starting to lose hope finding anyone alive within the wreckage, but my gut kept on telling me that someone's here and they don't have much time left.

I was about to leave the area I was in until I heard the sound of glass cracking, taking in the information in, I started looking straight looking in the direction of the sound and saw a barely noticeable glow of green through the debris.

"EVERYONE OVER HERE."

I screamed and started heading towards where the green glow is and once, I get there, I started hearing the sound of glass cracking once more but not as loud.

I started removing the debris to find whoever was underneath here, soon the other heroes started coming in my direction and started helping me.

Soon, when enough debris was removed, I could see what made the sound, right there in front of me was a child.

The child was covered in a green like barrier that look about to shattered and what look like the source of it was a floating green heart that looked so small that a single touch could shattered it as well.

Once we removed enough debris, the barrier disappeared, and the green heart retreated inside the child and what look like that it went into his heart.

'Uhh, guess I now know whose quirk that manifested, guess it must of manifest to help protect him.'

When I looked at him again, I realized who it was, it was the boy from this morning that had run away from school with black tears coming from his eyes.

I quickly picked him up bridal style and I felt someone's had clutching my shirt.

I looked down to see this little boy had grabbing my shirt while he was out unconscious.

As soon as the ambulance came, they went towards me, and I handed them the child.

After questioning the people around what happened, I felt an unimaginable amount of guilt hitting me from my decision from yesterday.

Apparently, the house was owned by Inko Midoriya and Hisashi Midoriya and the child's name was Izuku Midoriya, and once I looked up their personal files my eyes went wide.

To say I was surprised was an understatement, their father was the Number 9 Villain: Draconic, but then I remember all the neighbors' statements saying that after Izuku was born, Inko had a massive fight between them and one of them even heard her say 'Get out of our lives you villain'.

And when I went to Izuku's personal papers, it stated that he was quirkless and that he would have no way to manifest his quirk, I guess the doctors should be fired for being diagnosed a child then.

My guilt kept on getting worse and worse to the point I couldn't think straight.

'Why didn't I follow him yesterday, it could have been easily avoided but yet I got distracted by an adorable kitten. A GOD DAMN KITTEN.'

While I was ranting inside my head, I didn't notice a loud and handsome cockatoo coming into the hospital lobby room.

"You alright Sho?"

I looked up to see who called me that and I immediately relax once I noticed who called me that.

"Oh, hey Zashi. I'm currently fine just thinking."

Hizashi face went from a smile down to a small frown with a worry expression.

"Sho, I know that you are hurting inside at the circumstances but as your husband, you must tell me what's wrong or no coffee for a week."

"UUggg alright, fine but let's heads to the kids' room then I can explain things."

Wait, did I not explained that I was married to the cockatoo known as Present Mic/Hizashi Yamada.

Anyhow, as I said that he gave me a brief look of confusion but quickly nod as if he just got the most brilliant idea.

We ask the room number for the problem kitten room, and yes, he's 𝑀𝒴 𝓅𝓇𝑜𝒷𝓁𝑒𝓂 𝓀𝒾𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓃, 𝓊𝓃𝑜𝒻𝒻𝒾𝒸𝒾𝒶𝓁𝓁𝓎 𝑜𝓇 𝓃𝑜𝓉.

"Can you please give us the room number for Izuku Midoriya?"

"Sure, I can but may I ask, how are you affiliated to our patient?"

"Well, my hero name is Eraserhead and I was one of the heroes who rescued him from his burning house."

"Okay then, may I ask for your hero license then we can procced."

I gave her my license and after checking it, she gave it back and told us problem kittens room.

After we left, Zashi asked, "So his house burned downed? What the hell happened? I know for a fact that unless you blame yourself for something, you wouldn't visit one of the people you save."

*Sigh*

I sighed because he knows me way to damn well.

"Zashi here's the thing, when I was going home, and I meet up a kitten on the way?"

"Oh, you mean Licorish the kitten you brought home today?"

"Yes, well before I noticed the kitten, I saw this kid that was running away from the school that I was assuming that he is attending, well while he was running, he had these black liquid teats coming from eyes like how he's crying."

Hizashi was extremely worried about how this was going but I didn't notice at first and kept on speaking.

"And when I saw the kid for the first time, my gut told me to not let the kid out of my sight, but I ignored it because it was, we were in the middle of broad daylight and the kitten kept most of my attention."

Once I was finished saying all I wanted to say, I looked towards Zashi, and he had the look of worry but then he brightened into a small smile that tells me he has and stupid idea that I might like.

"Hey, since most likely since his parents are dead and if he no relatives can we adopt him??"

"Nope, nope, NOPE, I don't think we can take care of him, we are pro heroes, and we are also just started teaching students at UA last year. We are way too busy to watch another problem kitten."

I didn't notice that I subconsciously gave that problem child my most favorite nickname yet and Zashi caught it and had this wide smile on his face.

"Well, it seems that what you just said something otherwise, you just called him problem kitten but from what I know is that it's an upgrade from when you call your favorite student problem child."

I blushed but I was glad that my scarf hides it but then Zashi asked the question again.

"Now let me ask again, do you think it would be a good idea to adopt him?"

Then when we were in front of problem kitten's door, and I looked straight into Hizashi eyes.

"Well, that depends on Izuku if he wants to stay as Izuku Midoriya or Izuku Aizawa."
