A New Destination
Wasn't it yesterday I had come far from the sea?
And fate tells me I must leave for another place again?
I am not tired.
Just wondering where does this end?
Does it even end?
She packs her bags,
Sits in the heated room waiting to move out.
But for a second she stands still
And looks around.
'Nostalgia, it is.' I smile to myself and observe her.
She waits and stares at the walls
Which carry some of her colourful handprints and old stickers --
Memories of her old childhood which bade farewell quite a long time ago.
You are progressing ahead,
Out from this place,
Unravel the mysteries of life,
Come out from the heavy drapes of the curtain.
It's another journey again!
