Chapter 2: Inner Fangirl Unleashed

Morning, loves. ^-^ I hope you liked chapter uno.

Let's get to chapter two, yeah?

Enjoy!

MAJOR EDITS AND CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE.

--

"The last thing I want, Butterfly," Jackson drawled smugly as he waved his phone in front of me tauntingly, "is for this very embarrassing video to have to go online." His smirk was pissing me off.

I fumed, clenching my fists tightly and forcing out through gritted teeth, "Jackson Hades I swear to God that if you put that online you won't ever see the light of another day. Ever."

My boyfriend cocked an eyebrow at me and he chuckled in pure amusement, "Oh, sweetheart, you don't mean that. You know why? Because you really like me. I make you swoon like never before, and I make your heart go 'thump thump thump' at ninety miles an hour."

"You make the veins in my head go 'thump thump thump' at ninety miles an hour," I retorted, placing my hands on my hips and giving him one of my famous death glares while holding my hand out. "Give me the goddamn phone or so help me-"

"What?" he asked, cutting me off. His lips twitched higher, making my blood boil. He was teasing me! Taunting me! And using the video he took of me to do it! I was going to kill him, slowly, painfully, and make him wish he had just given me the phone to delete the video.

"I'll neuter your ass, and I'll make sure it hurts," I threatened him, pointing to him with a drop-dead serious glare on my face. I was surprised, and a tad bit pleased, when my voice sounded as serious as I wanted it to.

He considered my words for a long moment, tapping his chin and squinting at me as if wondering whether I would truly do what I said or not. I lifted my own chin and put my hands on my hips, keeping my glare steady.

His eyebrows raised and he shrugged. "It'd be worth it," he finally said, smirking.

That's when I lunged at him, hands outstretched.

--

TWO HOURS EARLIER

"Oi, chica," Lucy announced herself to me as she dropped herself onto the couch next to me in my basement, arms flinging onto the back of the couch. "Would you like to entertain me?"

I looked up from the magazine I was reading and slowly turned the page, staring at my best friend weirdly. "Are you actually allowing me to spend time with you?" I asked in a bit of sarcastic tone of voice.

"Damn right," she agreed, sitting criss-cross and reaching towards me. Before I knew it, she had snatched the magazine I was reading from my hands and threw it behind her. The sound of the pages flying stopped when they flapped against the carpeted floor behind her.

"I was reading that."

"I know. But you, as a friend, are slacking on your duties."

I pulled at the middle finger on my left hand, popping it and raising an eyebrow at Lucy. "Um. Care to explain how I'm lacking on my friendship duties? You eat my food, live in my house, and use my WiFi. If that isn't keeping up on my friendship duties-"

Lucy sighed heavily and slapped her palm against her forehead, shaking her head. "No, no. Don't bring that into this," she whined, glancing up at me with a scowl. "That is so unfair. Don't use that against me."

"It's my duty as a friend," I reminded her, wagging my finger at her and tsking. "Otherwise I'd be lacking on true friendship." I beamed at her.

Lucy grimaced and waved me off. "Whatever, jerk. My point is, you haven't told me how the date with Jackson went! I've been waiting for you to spill, but it's been like two days and I got tired of waiting for you to come to me!"

I made an 'o' shape with my mouth and trailed off, clearing my throat awkwardly. Lucy was right, I hadn't talked to her about the date. In all honesty, these past two days have completely gone by so fast I've not really brought it up to even Jackson. It's been weird lately, with his parents up around the house every day.

"Sorry, it slipped my mind," I apologized, tugging a strand of my sweater and shrugging. "The week's been hectic. A lot."

Lucy smiled, nodding her head. "I can imagine. It can't be to fun having your boyfriend's parents around all the time," she added, chuckling softly.

I gave Lucy a look and huffed, raking a hand through my hair. "Oh shut up. Do you want to know about the date or not?"

"Duh." She rolled her eyes and leaned forward eagerly. "That's what I've been waiting to hear about."

I scoffed and tilted forward so I could thump her gently on the side of the head, to which she saw coming. She quickly darted her body backwards without moving her lower half, but not before my hand firmly but gently collided with her temple.

"Ow!" she cried dramatically, slapping my hands away and scowling at me. "You're a bitch, you know? I want some quality time together and you come over and slap me on the head! Great! Now I have a concussion."

"You," I said, starting to laugh at her dramatics, "are the most overreacting person I've ever come to know." My laughter increased when she flipped me off and whined about going to the hospital.

"Bite me," she snapped, removing her hands and moving her eyes down to them, turning them over a couple of times. "Good, no blood. Be grateful you didn't cause blood to spill, otherwise I would have sued your ass."

If possible, my laughter only continued more. "Blood? Seriously, Luce? I didn't claw you with my fingernails for goodness' sake! I didn't even hit you that hard!"

"Well it could have been bad," she protested, frowning at my laughter. "You never know."

"Please." I giggled, covering my mouth and trying to calm the giggles and laughs as I did so. "You're going to be just fine."

"I hate you."

"Awe, no you don't. You love me so much, because if you didn't you'd have left by now for me hitting you. But you haven't."

She scowled again, crossing her arms and leaning back against the arm of the couch, crossing one leg over another and poking my arm with her sock covered foot. "Only because I wanna hear about your date with Jackson."

After calming down I looked at Lucy, racking my brain in wonder as to where I should start explaining. "Well after you did my hair and everything-" I began.

"-Which was amazing, by the way," Lucy added smugly, smiling with pride and flipping her black hair. When she saw me giving her a look she waved her hand at me. "Sorry, continue."

"Thanks." I rolled my eyes at my best friend and shook my head, then said, "Anyways, he told me he wasn't going to tell me where he was taking me because it was a surprise. So after pestering him about it, I decided to give up and just go with the flow."

"Like Dory and Marlin from Finding Nemo," Lucy chirped cheerfully, smiling widely at me. "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.." She trailed off with a slight giggle to which I grinned.

"Just like that. Sort of." I played with a strand of my hair and felt my cheeks grow warm as I continued the story. I wasn't used to talking about my love life, even with Lucy. It was sort of a new thing to me, despite dating Ken. This feeling .. this feeling was one I didn't feel with Ken as horrible as it makes me sound. "He was driving away from the city, through the forests. And then he got off the main road and onto a dirt road.."

"And..?" My best friend urged, looking genuinely interested as her brown eyes studied my face expectantly.

"We eventually came to a stop at a clearing, and he turned off the car but left the headlights on to a low dim," I recalled wistfully, starting to daze out of reality and back to the memory of the date. "There was a picnic basket and a blanket, with all these little artificial lights hanging from tree branches.."

I took a moment to snap back to reality and looked at Lucy, who seemed to be trying to contain her excitement. But it was almost obvious she was happy because she had her hands clamped together, covering her mouth as if to hide a smile. But her eyes were giving off the unmistakable sparkle of approval. She gestured for me to continue, so I did.

"He pulled me into a kiss after I told him it was nice and from there we just talked and had a picnic," I finished off, sighing dreamily as my tale to her ended. I bit my lip and smiled down at my lap. "After the picnic, we danced a little, and kissed a lot, before coming back home."

Lucy let out a sound that seemed to be a mixture of a contained squeal and a cough, her hands even closer to her mouth. "That's awesome," she told me. I knew she was trying to act cool, but inside she was fangirling so hard. Lucy rarely got this appearance, and when she did I knew why. I saw it once when we went to a MCR concert that was in the city. She nearly fainted.

"Just 'that's awesome', Luce? Really?" I smirked and crawled over to my friend, putting my hands over hers and slowly removing them from where they covered her mouth. She didn't try to resist and I raised an eyebrow. "It's okay to let out the inner hibernating fangirl, Luce. She can't hide forever."

Her mouth opened, and seconds later her arms were slamming me to her chest as she hopped up and down on her knees with me in her arms, squealing loudly. "Oh my God! He's so romantic! Faye, if you don't keep this one I'll seriously, honestly, beat the shit out of you!"

I wheezed out a laugh and wriggled in her tight embrace so I could breath. "Uh L-Luce," I managed out, smiling weakly, "we're s-sort of engaged-" I grunted when she squeezed me tighter. "Ow."

"That makes it even more romantic!" she yelled, forcing me side to side as she hugged me. "I can't wait to see you guys get married! Oh my gosh, do you think that it would be okay if I did this whole big speech at the wedding? Maybe-"

"Luce, as great as it is to see you letting your fangirl side take over, I sort of need to breath," I rasped, tapping her arm and looking up at her best I could in my position.

"Shit, right." Her arms loosened, then released me and I pulled back to catch my breath. Her embrace really took it out of me, and I patted my chest, puffing. "You okay?"

"Nothing life-threatening." I smiled in amusement and chuckled. "You're really funny when you get all-"

"If you tell anyone about this I won't hesitate to kick your ass, best friend or not," Lucy told me, giving me a look that told me she wasn't just threatening.

"I won't." I smiled at her and patted her head. "I just think it's pretty funny when you get all squeals and shit."

"Yeah yeah." She grunted and crossed her arms. "Don't touch me."

I stuck my tongue out and she, in return, did the same. Then we both busted out laughing. Lucy and I were really close; we've been friends for as long as we could remember and we had that friendship where we could be complete jerks to each other and know it was just a joke.

"What now?" I asked after we recovered and just sat on the couch in an awkward silence. I pulled my hair into a ponytail and glanced around the basement that was familiar to my eyes before looking back at Lucy, waiting for an answer.

My friend shuffled her hands together, seeming nervous. I noted that and tilted my head at her with a curious frown. "Hey, you alright?" I asked her quietly.

"Um.. Yeah.." She shrugged. "I just thought of.. you know when I accidentally shot Leto.."

I winced at the memory and let out a soft breath, rubbing the back of my neck. "Oh, right. Um, what about it?" I asked her, shooting her a glance. Her expression was filled with .. guilt ..

"I know we worked together when you were sick and everything, back when we kind of .. um .. had a clash," she told me, sighing. "But I still feel bad for shooting her and I want to make things right."

I silently regarded her, believing her every word and then closing my eyes and leaning back against the couch. "Leto knows you're sorry," I admitted to her quietly. "She was just .. she didn't trust you back there."

"I know that." Her fingers ran through her thick black hair in frustration. "I just want to tell her personally. That's sort of the only way my guilt might stop.."

I smiled softly at her dedicating and scooted closer to her, wrapping my arms around her. She tucked her head on my shoulder and leaned against me. "I'm glad you're making an effort, Luce," I said softly, rubbing her arm in reassurance, "and if that's what you really want, then I'll reach out to her for you."

I felt Lucy's body relax against me, and a breath of relief escape her lips even though she had been trying to either contain it or keep it as quiet as possible so I wouldn't hear it. I smiled a little more. "Thank you, Faye," she mumbled, yawning softly. "What if she doesn't forgive me?"

"She will." I looked down at her and chuckled. "I probably shouldn't speak for her, but I know Leto. She'll know you're not lying and that you're being pure when you apologize. Dragons are smart like that."

She nodded and then pulled back from my hug, pulling her sleeves over her hands. "Okay.." She trailed off, indicating she had no more to say. Then added, "How about we watch a movie for a while?"

I gave her a bright smile in hopes to cheer her up. "Sure. What movie do you wanna watch?" I chirped, sliding off the couch and going to the counter under the TV and pulling the glass doors open and scanning the rows of movies. "There's lots of them to chose from. We have all Disney movies on DVD, well most."

"Um.." She considered thoughtfully and then tapped her chin, blinking. "How about Cheaper By the Dozen?" A small grin appeared on her face and I scoffed playfully, knowing full well that that movie was her favorite.

"That isn't Disney," I chided teasingly, shaking my head with a smirk. "So we cannot watch it."

"Hey!" she retorted, glaring at me. "Please? You know I love that movie a lot!" She gave me a pout and leaned back against the couch.

I was already pulling the movie disk out as I hummed, "I dunno. You're being sort of a brat, taking advantage of me allowing you to live here. I don't think I like the way you treat me, missy."

"Bitch, you aren't gonna kick me out because I'm your only friend," Lucy chortled, followed by the clink of the glass lid of the jar that held my gummy worms.

I looked back and saw her stuffing her face with my precious sweets and shut the DVD player, storming up to her and snatching the lid. "Hey!" she protested through a mouthful of gummy worms. "What the hell?"

I took the jar and held it to my chest as I sat down, giving her a hiss. "You don't touch my gummy worms you miscreant. They're mine, I tell you. Mine only!" I narrowed my eyes to slits and grabbed the remote without looking away from my friend.

"Share the damn gummy worms."

"Over my dead body."

"That can be arranged."

I flip the television on, glancing at it to see the movie start and then say to her, "You can have some gummy worms. But not all." I held up a finger when she opened her mouth. "Don't argue or you won't get any at all."

"You do realize," she drawled, "that I could just take them from you."

"Ah." I gave her a playful wink. "True, but you won't."

"You don't realize how much I hate you, do you?"

"You love me and you know it." I snickered.

Halfway through the movie, I started to get chilly so I go and grab a blanket off of my bed. When I returned, Lucy was devouring more gummy worms.

"Okay." I pause the movie and take the jar from her.

"Give that back!" she whined, reaching out to grab the jar back again, two gummy worms in her other hand as she stared at me with wide eyes.

"No." I slap her hand. "Bad Lucy. You've had enough. My poor gummy worms won't make it through the night if you keep eating them." I placed the lid on the jar and then put it on the side table next to me and shook my head.

She pouted, her eyes flicking to the jar longingly. "They were begging me to eat them!"

"Sure they were." I turned my own eyes to the movie and rolled my eyes for the thousandth time that day, grinning to myself.

"Honestly! They were calling to me: 'Lucy..eat us, Lucy..It's our life dream to be eaten.'"

"You're dramatic."

"I've considered joining theater at school," she mused randomly, causing me to raise an eyebrow at her. I knew she was only joking, Lucy hated everything out preforming on stage.

I successfully stopped her from trying to snatch the gummy worms back and I set them on the nightstand on my side of the couch. I played the movie once more.

"No!" Lucy screeched, leaning forward angrily and glaring at the screen. "You idiot! The dog is gonna bite you in the god-damn balls!"

The scene came in when the dog did indeed bite this guy in the balls. Lucy and I were practically trying not to laugh our asses off.

"I warned him!" Lucy cried, throwing her hands in the air and waving them wildly at the screen. "Does nobody listen to me?"

"He can't hear you," I laugh, nudging her shirt covered arm which caused both of us to sway side to side from the impact. "I think you're high off of sugar or something."

"I still warned him." She frowned and crossed her arms. "And for the record, I am not high off sugar. Thanks."

When the movie ended, Lucy decided to go upstairs to take a shower and get some sleep. I bid her a goodnight and then began to clean up my room. I paused at some point and pulled my phone out, connecting it to my Bluetooth so it blasted my music. Scream by Usher came on, and I started dancing around while cleaning my room.

"Ooh baby, baby!" I yelled, wriggling my hips as I threw sprawled clothing into the hamper by my bathroom door. "Ooh, baby, baby!"

My thoughts were a thousand miles away, and honestly I wasn't worried about whether I would be heard and then spotted. That stupidity on my part caused the upcoming events to occur.

I had made my bed and was swaying my hips as I danced towards the bathroom and began to clean it, eventually managing it to look livable and usable. Hey, it's not like it's completely and utterly gross, I just needed to clean it up a bit.

I then moved on to my closet and sorted clothes out and putting things in their rightful spots. When I finished that, I was singing and hopping out of the closet with my eyes closed so I didn't even notice the figure in my room.

"You're a sexy dancer." Had it not been for the brief silence that indicated the song was over and would be shifting to the next song, I wouldn't have heard him speak. My eyes flicked to him and I nearly died where I stood.

"Holy shit," I breathe, wiping sweat from my forehead and then stepping back in surprise. "Oh, uh, hey there, Jackson," I added with a nervous laugh. "Um, I was just cleaning up my room.."

Jackson's brown eyes met my gray-silver ones, making my knees want to collapse and refuse to hold me up, but I cleared my throat and straightened up, looking him over quickly. He was leaning against the doorway in a fashion I saw as pretty damn fine. I bit my lip and put my eyes back to his smirking face.

"I noticed," he replied, taking a look at my improved bedroom before pushing himself off the doorway and beginning to walk towards me with a grin. "Anyways, as I was saying. You're dancing is amazing."

I blushed and rubbed my cheek in frustration, urging the blush to disappear before he noticed it. To late, his eyes went to my red cheeks and his smirk turned into a wide grin as he stopped halfway. "Um..thanks," I mumbled, shifting on my feet, then pausing and saying slowly, "How long were you watching me..?"

"I don't know," he said passively, his grin still on his face. "How long was I watching, Faye?"

"Don't do that." I put my hands on my hips and narrowed my eyes at him. "Answer my question."

He cocked his head to the side and gazed at me. "Do I get a please?"

I huffed and stormed up to him, poking my finger to his chest a few times. "No you do not get a please, mister," I denied, my gaze burning into his as I tried to ignore how his chest felt when I poked it. "You tell me now, or so help me-"

His hands suddenly met my hips and he jerked me closer, if possible, and removed his left hand to tilt my chin up towards him better. He leaned down and whispered into my ear, "Is that anyway to talk to your boyfriend, sweetheart?" His breath blew in my ear.

I contained a soft gasp and put my hands on his shoulders to steady myself. His touch made my stomach do backflips like no tomorrow and it took me everything to keep in that gasp he nearly caused. "Don't..do that."

"Do what?" he murmured, his lips pressing against the skin behind my ear, which caused my knees to give out this time. Good thing he was holding onto me, because my body would no longer hold me up. It was like it shut down at Jackson's small kiss, and he pulled me tighter against him sensing my weakness. "I'm not doing anything."

"T-that.." I squeaked, feeling his lips trail down from behind my ear. His kisses went down my neck, leaving flaming trails as a reminder, up my jawline and back down again. By this time I was practically desiring for him to kiss me on the lips.

"Something wrong, Butterfly?" he whispers in my ear, making invisible swirls on my back with his fingers. I couldn't remember what I was demanding from him now. I just wanted him to kiss me senseless, so instead of answering I pulled back and grabbed his face, crashing our lips together.

He kissed back, his hands going back to my hips and holding me in place. My arms slithered around his neck, jerking his head down closer to mine to deepen the kiss. I can't get over what he does to me every time we have these passionate exchanges. He ignites something inside of me, like a beast waking up from it's slumber for a brief but intense amount of time.

Jackson's hands slid from my hips and began roaming my back, above the shirt of course. I couldn't contain the sounds any longer, and a moan escaped my lips that were against his. It was soft, but he had heard it clearly.

I didn't want the kiss to end, but I was short of breath. I removed my lips from his and sucked in air, breathing in and out as my fingers trailed over his chest and rested right on the spot his heart would be. I could feel it beating, it was beating as fast as mine was. It made me smile that what he made me felt was what I made him feel as well.

Regaining my senses, I remembered what it was I was so furious with him over and narrowed my eyes again. "Nice job distracting me. But I've not forgotten about our little talk." It wasn't completely a lie.. I only forgot when he started to kiss me..

An innocent smile made it's way to his face and he cocked his head. "Why, butterfly, whatever do you mean?"

"How much did you see?" I demanded him, tapping my foot.

He now looked sheepish, realizing he wouldn't have a way out of this. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and chuckled. "Enough to have recorded it.."

"What?" I screech, my eyes widening. "Jackson delete that video right now!"

"No, I think I'll keep it." He grinned at me, his teasing making my face red and my embarrassment increase rapidly.

"Jackson!" I reached for the phone, but he stepped back.

His laughter filled the room as he darted out of my reach, running to the living room and dodging my every attempt to snatch him. I was getting tired after about fifteen minutes of this repeated chase, and finally gave up.

I flopped down on the couch and covered my face with my hands, my legs sprawled on the back of the couch as I breathed heavily.

"Awe do you give up?" Jackson asked me sweetly from somewhere close. "Don't worry, I won't put it online."

I groaned and peeked up at him. "Fine. Will you delete it?"

"Not a chance, butterfly."

I gave you a moment between our two little lovebirds. You're welcome.
