They stretched on for miles and miles.
Sending each other coquetting smiles.
The morning Sky, high and mighty.
And the green Earth, a bashful beauty.

He peered at her through the curtain of white cloud
His hot blazing gaze piercing through her green shroud
They longed to meet at the horizon
The yearning to feel the other ,beyond all reason

He was set on fire for going to her
Yet her love for him was so deep to deter
He reached out to her and she took his hand
Together they burned and into blackness they turned
