A portrait ruined....

His gaze fell on the withered portrait of life
Now Yellowed and torn, where once colours were rife

The Lilacs and Reds of a lovely morning
Cloaked in the Grey wisps of smog, as if in mourning

The rich Greens that once glowed under his warm gaze
Were Brown and lifeless as the sun glared, angry and ablaze.

Pools of Crimson tainted the Golden earth
Dark stains and debris stealing the Blue water's mirth.

Long claws of sin had torn away the unblemished Whites
The calm Blackness of night breached by the bright neon lights.

He closed his eyes that were burning with ire.
Ashes floated in air, as life became an Orange mass of fire.
