Draco took deep breaths as they made it back to the great hall his hands rested on his knees as his body shook from fear. "It's nothing just some old pipes acting up nothing to be scared of, it would seem I rescued you Ibris from the horrible pipe creature~" he felt a swat hit his arm but it was nothing compared to the punch that had connected with his face which was still horribly sore. His eyes traveled upward and he spotted Blaise still enjoying his dinner like nothing had ever happened. "You know Blaise someone might get the wrong impression and think you abandoned your mate in the dark corridors to be savagely attacked by a first year. You were supposed to be the human shield~"

Blaise looked up from his food Neveah had taken a seat beside him. "Sorry Draco I was busy Neveah was going over a new charm she was working on and it sounded fascinating and what do you mean viciously mauled by a first year...wait did Alessandra actually attack you it.? Well to be fair you probably deserved it no doubt you were lurking behind a pillar preparing to spook her~"  Neveah picked up a piece of shrimp and then chuckled. "You get what you give dear cousin and nice hook Alessandra I wish I could have seen the look on his face~!"

Draco was about to retort when the Slytherin perfect walked in and clapped his hands. "Alright first years follow me to the dormitories and pay careful mind to what I have to say it will be important~" Alessandra nodded and got with the other first years before being lead off out of the great hall. When they all stoped she attempted to maneuver to the front and learn what was going on since it was bound to be important. "This is the entrance to the Slytherin common room it may only look like an ordinary wall but Hogwarts has many secrets~." He clears his throat. "Pureblood~" the wall swings open and then Alessandra hears the other years coming in behind them she felt two people take presence at her side. "You two sure are quick to get back to the dorm what's wrong Neveah threaten to prank your pants off ..I suppose I should specify if I meant literally or figuratively~"

The perfect started down the stairs and Alessandra looked all around taking in the green and silver banners. Old torture devices lined the walls as did all manner of skulls their vacant orbital cavities created a feeling of being watched it made her skin crawl. She saw the steps were coming to an end then her eyes lit up upon arriving in the common room. They were actually under the Black lake she took a few steps forward and marveled at the way the water colored the room a natural green hue all the furniture looked elegant and functional. The couches and chairs were fine leather and the chairs had wood carvings upon them no doubt all hand carved. There was a roaring fire place that gave a warmth to the otherwise cold feeling common room and she could tell the sound of the waves would help her fall asleep at night. That's when she saw all manner of creatures swimming about out in the lake mer people giant squids and so many other rare and magical fish, slowly she approached the glass and put her hands on it the giant squid swam up to the window and it's eye peered right at her. "Hello there mister squid I'm Alessandra it's a pleasure to meet you~" the squid laid one of its tentacles against the glass before it made a happy sound it then swam off and did circles in the lake other creatures approached the window and looked at her curiously. She smiles back at them as they swim off after investigating for awhile she turns and sees several of the Slytherin's stunned.

"Oh is everyone okay did I do something wrong by touching the glass I can clean it off if so~" Blaise stepped forward. "The creatures never react so calmly sure they will swim by every now and then but they haven't ever paid us a visit how did you do~" she raises a finger to her lips and winks at Blaise. "Sorry my friend it's a trade secret that I'm not quite willing to share just yet~" she watched Draco flop down on the couch he picked up a book and started to read not paying much mind to the first years. Alessandra sat across from him as Blaise went to get his dorm reset the cleaning spells had messed everything up.

"You know I have my own private quarters my family made sure I would have peace when studying~" she smirked and looked down at him. "So I have my own personal dormitory too don't think your special Draco~" she felt him pull her down on top of him. "You dare insult the Slytherin prince in his kingdom~?!" She looked around and then quirked an eyebrow. "I don't see any princes all I see is a little dragon who's run out of steam~" she snickers and then dodges his next grab before moving over to the other sofa. She saw the irritated look on his face but paid him no mind. "You'll have to be quicker than that Draco and here I thought you had quick reflexes due to summer quidditch practice~"

Draco sighs. "Your attitude is going to get you into trouble one day but until you get settled I suppose Blaise and I can look out for you only until you get comfortable~" She chuckles happily and then smirks. "Oh is that a promise you and Blaise may need me one day you never know I'm quite gifted at maneuvering difficult situations. I would hate to see both of you floundering in your studies~" 

The door to the common room flew open with a loud bang startling both of them and in breezed a tall man in black robes. He had neck length black hair and dark brown eyes that narrowed down at them. His nose was rather large and he didn't even crack a smile when he walked in. "Attention all of you I am Professor Severus Snape head of this esteemed house as well as the potions professor, I have only one simple rule do not disgrace our house and you shall do well. I do not give free passes if you are found misbehaving or shirking your studies you shall be punished with detention~" Alessandra swallowed thickly he was rather menacing it made her feel uncomfortable in a way she as brought out of her thoughts by his cold tone. "As for you miss Ibris do not believe you are special due to the hats hesitation to place you, in the grand scheme of things it is but a minor quirk that bares no significance you shall be treated like any other student. You have chosen this house and you must live with it even if you desire nothing more than to change your fate~"

She meet his eyes and chose not to back down despite her heart racing in her chest, he had to know at least one of her secrets and if it came out she would be eaten alive by Slytherin house especially in the state it was now. Her previous experience with the two trolls and Pathetic Parkinson had taught her that much. "I'll be sure to keep that in mind Professor thank you for the advice and if I may sir, I would like to thank you for personally coming down to see me~" His expression shifted subtly to one of vague surprise. "There is no need to mention it I am simply doing what is expected of me,good night to you all and you best not be late~" she watched him glide out of the room with the same authority he had when coming in. "On that note I think it's time for me to get some sleep I'll have to be up early tomorrow to prepare for my classes I figured I would help out Professor Mcgonagall as well first impressions are key to building a healthy school career, pleasant dreams Draco~"

She heads towards the girls dormitories and sees a wall slide open revealing her private chambers she sets the password to dragon and then closes the door behind her. She carefully opened her shoulder bag and left it on the floor as two creatures came out one was a small acromantula affectionately known as specs because of its many eyes the other was a Swedish short snout chick she had found wounded while walking in the forest by her home she couldn't let the poor things suffer. She never quite understood it but she could communicate with magical creatures influence them in subtle ways unless the creature was purely dark then her abilities had no such effect.

"Well Blue, Specs what do you think of our new home for the semester I'll take you to your permanent home when I get a chance to sneak away I think you'll really like it here but you have to promise me that you won't hurt any of the students do I make myself clear~?" The dragon gently wraps it's forelegs around her finger and the acromantula nuzzles into her neck it's mandibles clicking together eagerly. "Good because I put a lot of faith in you my friends, you mean the world to me and I wouldn't ever want something to happen to you~" Blue looked up at her and purred softly as dragons were capable of doing. "I know you want to protect me but I have to be strong on my own one day I may need to call on you my friends would you be there for me~" both creatures do a small body movement to show their approval and their promise. "I don't deserve such loyal friends and I'll protect you as much as I can the grounds keeper is very kind though I'm sure you'll care for him just as much~" Blue hopped off her shoulder and crawled onto her pillow laying down at the side anyway and then specs spun himself a small web above her bed his eyes peeled protectively.

"I see your both sleep me to just give me a few moments to get changed and I'll be joining you also no dropping web on me while I sleep I'm watching you specs~" the spider waved a leg before covering its face it knew what it did. She strolls into her bathing area grabbing all the essentials, a steamy bath before bed would do her some good. Almost all the muscles in her body were tense from sneaking her creatures in with her. The risk was calculated but still it had almost given her a heart attack when Blue tried to wriggle out of the bag and take a significant chunk out of Lucius Malfoys hand. The creatures were tuned into her feelings so negative emotions fueled bad behavior in them, that's why she always tried to stay calm in case any magical creatures took interest in her. If they were allowed to feed off her darker emotions then they could lash out at those who harmed their friend and it could have sever consequences.

She finished getting cleaned up and then headed towards her bed in her green pajamas. She pulled her wand and used a basic alarm enchantment to be sure that she would be up bright and early. She then let her hair down and slide into the covers Blue curled closer to her for warmth and comfort as specs slept dangled above. Her dreams were peaceful that night and involved Blaise Draco and herself studying in the library or at a quidditch game she had so few friends. The next morning she was pulled out of bed by the alarm and she rubbed her eyes tiredly. "It's a new day the first of many~"
