Sunset
Nathan appears. "Hey man," he smiles, "we're getting close. There's only three left. Your next target is Solaire, God of the Sun. Should be easy enough to defeat. He's east of here. Anyways, good luck man."
Nathan leaves. I proceed towards Solaire. As I walk, I begin to notice something. Whilst the sun still provides warmth, it provides no light. The world is in an odd, dim state between light and darkness. I can see, but everything is dim.
As I walk, I hear another line of the song. It's hard to make out, but I hear, "you are being deceived."
The song goes quiet once more. I continue towards my target. I have another vision of the other side.
I see something. A notebook. I open the notebook. The notebook contains a story. A story involving Nathan and all the gods I've killed, and gods I haven't killed. Most of the things add up, except for one thing, the notes on revival. It's clear the being known as G.3.K. is dead, so why hasn't the world ascended? Something doesn't seem right...
"Hey!" A voice yells. I snap back to reality. Solaire stands before me, standing in the shade. I remember the notes. Solaire is a vampire. How ironic.
"Are you even worth talking to?" Solaire asks.
"No," I reply.
"Very well then," Solaire sighs, "then let's begin."
Solaire attacks with devine magic that burns with fury of the sun. It scorches my left arm, the blood on my sins seemingly fueling the flames.
I lunge at Solaire. He narrowly avoides my attack. I remember what I saw in my vision, something about a dark power... Should I tap into that power?
No, not yet. If the power is some sort of inner demon, it could be what caused this mess. It would be wise to not make use of whatever dark power I have.
I leap at Solaire. He dodges once more. It's clear I can't land a direct hit against him easily. I must resort to other methods. I look up at the sun, and I get an idea...
I lunge at Solaire again and agan, overwhelming him and preventing him from attacking. He so busy dodging, it's not until he's cornered he realizes I'm pushing him out of the shade.
"Clever," he smirks, "Very clever. It appears the sun is about to fall. Ah well. At least I had a good run, but that doesn't mean I'm going down without a fight. I'm stronger in the sun, and I should take just long enough to burn..."
Solaire steps into the sun. He glows with a holy power. "To kill you," he smirks. His blade extends. He slashes at me with the fury of a dieing sun. He is engulfed in fire at as attacks. I dodge, allowing the sun to consume him until he falls, dead.
My sword ignites with holy fire. So that only leaves Festo, but where could he be?
I hear sarcastic clapping. A man with red hair and green eyes approaches me. "Hello," he greets, "my name is Festo, and I am here to end this."
