Lance's P.O.V.

Its been almost a month since I last talked to Keith. Let alone seen him. Since I last saw him I haven't been able to stop thinking about what I saw.

Flashback One Month

We are all training in the training room when we hear Allura's voice on the intercom. "Paladains this is an emergency Kolavain's ship is making an emergency landing at the castle of lions."

As soon as she says that my heart stops. Dropping my bayard I race down to the bay hanger with everyone else right behind me. When I get there I got to a skidding stop when I see Kolivan and Regris helping an injured Keith off of the ship. Blood is dripping onto to the floor from the nasty wound on his shoulder. Being barely conscious his eyes meet mine as we take him to where the healing pods are. But as soon as we start trying to put him in the healing pod he starts panicking. Struggling against us as he growls. "No no no! No healing pod!"

"Keith you have a nasty wound to your shoulder and you're losing a lot of blood you need the pod."

Meeting Allura's eyes breathing heavily he growls baring his teeth that now look more like fangs. "I said No healing pod."

His eyes turn from Allura to Shiro then to Regris before holding it with Kolivan. Kolivan's eyes soften under Keith's steady graze. That seems to tell him something only Kolivan seems to understand. "Alright no healing pod."

"What, but he is injured and by the looks of it he has lost a lot of blood."

Pidge glares at Kolivan not agreeing with his decision. Not to say that I agree with his decision either. Keith looks deathly pale and how he is still awake is a mystery to me. Laying Keith on the exam table to start tending to his wounds. Allura is about to stop removing his Marmora armor when Kolivan stops her. His eyes flash to Hunk, Pidge, and myself.

Looking down at Keith she seems to understand what he means. Pulling her hands away from Keith's armor she looks at the both of us. "Hunk, Pidge, Lance can you wait outside while we stitch his wound."

I want to argue, but I decide against it for Keith's sake.

Allura's P.O.V.

When Hunk Pidge and a very reluctant worried Lance leave Shoro starts working on removing Keith's armor with Kolivan's help. While I start tending to the cuts to his face. When they remove the armor over the long grey shirt Shiro freezes. While Kolivan removes the long grey shirt.

Looking over at Shiro I follow his graze to see what he what made him freeze. But when I see what he is looking at I freeze as well. Wrapped around his waist is a long black sleek furry tail. Along with the sight of even more furry purple splotches covering his body. Most of his torso now covered in purple galra skin then human flesh. Even though I hate galras there is no way I could hate Keith. I am worried though how this change will affect Keith.

Stitching the wound on his shoulder shut I notice the edges of the would turning the same galra color as the rest of the skin on his torso. Finishing closing his would I cover it with a bandage. Regris hands Kolivan new Marmora armor to put on Keith. As he puts the new armor on a now unconscious Keith I notice something. The normally strict marmora galra is being gentle and protective over Keith. Almost caring like a parent over a child. Wrapping Keith in a nice warm blanket he picks Keith up in his arms.

Lance's P.O.V.

Sitting on the sofa I tapped my foot against the ground as I wait be able to see Keith again. When I see Kolivan enter the room with Keith wrapped up in a purple blanket. Walking over to me he stops in front of me. "I need you to watch over Keith for me. Can you do that?"

"Of... Course I can."

Placing Keith next to me I end up blushing when Keith ends up resting his head against my shoulder. Placing my arm around him I keep him close to me. While Hunk and Pidge start snickering about Keith and I.

Moving some hair out of his face I see a small bandage next to his temple. That's when I notice something odd. A purple color peaking out off his collar of his armor. Frowning I reach out and touch it. Feeling the soft light fluffy fur under my fingertips. I have, so many questions racing through my mind. Though they quickly leave my mind when Keith snuggles closer to me. Smiling slightly I decide to close my eyes and fall asleep.

When I wake up I look to my left to find Keith is gone. Getting up I start looking for him. When I finally find him its of course in the training room with Regris. I am watching from my hiding spot listening to what he and Regris are talking about. "Well Kolivan says you have to keep it hidden."

"Yeah well he doesn't know how cramped and stiff it feels keeping it wrapped up all day."

"Alright take your armor off and let me see."

Pulling his armor off I blush slightly at seeing him in his tight grey shirt. Though around his wait I notice what looks like a black belt like sash around his waist. That is until I see it move by itself undoing itself from his waist. 'What the quiznak Keith has a tail!'

Stretching out his tail it flickers while he removes his shirt. To say my surprise grew is an understatement. Underneath his shirt is large patches of purple furry galra skin. Regris notices the black patch of fur going down his spine. "Your change is becoming more rapid. You know you will have to tell them everything eventually right?"

"I know, but do its just..."

"You're worried about how your mate will take it."

Keith's face automatically darkens red with blush. "He's not my mate I don't even know if he likes me and besides how do you think he would react to finding out I'm full galra."

"Keith everyone can see that Lance likes you everyone, but your the only one who can't seem to see it. He won't care if you are half galra or full galra."

The blush on his face becomes an even darker shade of red. But my face also becomes dark red with embarrassment. The only really important thing gong through my head being. 'Keith likes me?'

End Flashback

Ever since I found out that Keith liked me and the fact that he is turning into a galra. As I lay on blue's paw thinking about this I start to worry about Keith. Blue rumbles at me trying to give me comfort me and sooth my worries.

Keith's P.O.V.

Training with Regris on the ship he is teaching me how to use my tail. Again I land on my ass letting out a frustrated growl my new tail thrashes around in the air. Hearing chuckling I get back up to my feet to see Kolivan standing there. "You're not going to win a fight like that cub."

Glaring at him with yellowing eyes causing his chuckle to turn into a laugh. "Come on cub we are almost at the ship."

Pulling back my new cat like ears my tail flickers not really liking this mission. Even though it is suppose to be a simple data collection from an abandon enemy ship something seems off about it. Walking into the control I take a seat in my chair only to jump out of it wincing. Rubbing my tender tail Regris snickers getting a glare from me. "Awe did someone sit on his tail again."

Sitting back down much more careful this tome a growl at him baring my fangs at him. "Its not funny."

"That's enough you two we are here."

Activating my mask we start to get ready to enter the galra crusier. Jumping out of our ship and into the cold darkness of outer space. Spreading out we land on three different spots triangulating the ship we detach our thrusters. Landing on the hull of the ship we attach ourselves to it magnetically. Placing a small device on the ship we activate it scanning for any signs of life or activey. When our scans are complete we end up picking up two life signs. One being robotic while the other is unknown.

Regrouping at our entrance point we slip into the ship to find that its gravity has been deactivated, so we have to magnetically keep ourselves on the ground. Pushing crates out of the way we make our way to the control room where we can find the data we are looking for. As we head down the corridors we find sentrys torn to shreds along with gigantic claw marks on the wall. My hand instintcually goes to my blade. "I don't like this something seems wrong."

Glancing at Kolivan I can't help, but agree though we are here on a mission. "Well we can't turn back now Regris and you can head to the control room and get the data we need. While I search the ship for the sentry that is still active and see what data I can get off of it."

I swear that if Kolivan wasn't wearing a mask that I would see a smile on his face. "I agree except there is an unknown life form on this ship, so we will all head to the control room. Then me and you will search the ship for the sentry just in case we run into the other life form."

My tail flickers happily as I smile under my mask. "Of course."

Heading over to the control room we make sure it is safe before leaving Regris to his work. Checking down the dark empty halls we eventually decide to split up in order to cover more ground. After searching for what feels like hours I finally find the sentry. Making my way up to it I hear it say. "What are you?"

Frowning in confusion I decide to answer. "My name is Keith I am a galra who is part of the blade of marmora Palladian of the red lion. What happen here?"

Mentioning galra seemed to trigger something as it starts shouting. "Galra Galra all Galra must parish all Galra must be destroyed ALL GALRA MUST BE EXTERMINATED!"

That's when the sentry is moved reveling a massive beast behind it that looks oddly familiar. Backing up I start running as it launches the sentry at me. My blade turning into a sword I cut the sentry in half. But as soon as I do the beasts opens its mouth shoring out a stream of purple energy. Activating the shield build into my armor I raise it up to try and block the energy knowing I wouldn't be able to dodge it in time.

When the energy collides with my shield I start getting pushed back till it breaks the shield. Which sends me flying backwards into a wall. Hitting my back against the wall hard I let out a yell in pain. Quickly getting up to my feet I dodge the remaining energy coming at me before I charge the beast. I slash at it, but it quickly disappears into thin air. Only to reappear again behind me. It's massive clawed hand coming down at me. It is about to land its blow when out of nowhere Kolivan appears managing to pull me away just in time. Throwing a grenade and a smoke bomb at it he pulls me down a hallway quickly. "Come on we got to get to Regris and get out of here now before it finds us again."

Lance's P.O.V.

We have just finished taking out a galra ship when red forces us out of our voltron form. Since Keith has been spending more with the blade he has talked to red asking her to work with us even while he is gone. Letting out a roar Red lashing out at the wreckage of our battle. "Blue what's wrong with Red?"

"She says its Keith that's he's in trouble and needs her now."

Panicing I feel my heart slam against my chest. "Lance what's wrong."

"Its Keith somethings wrong and Red says he's in danger and and needs her. We have to get to him."

"Alright lets go to him."

Hurrying to the castle of lions red links to the castle giving Allura the location. Opening a wormhole we go through to find a graveyard of galra ships. Heading out in our lions we follow Red to the last ship. "There are life signs coming from the ship."

"How many are there Pidge?"

"There are four life signs three galra and one unknown."

Calming my racing heart we make our way to the ship. Entering the ship I am terrified when I see the claw marks covering the walls. Along with sentrys torn to shreds floating in the hallway. Making our way to the control room Pidge starts hacking into the security feeds. Pulling up the cameras we see two blade members running down a hallway until they are attacked by a monstrous beast. Without even a second thought I race down the hallway to find them with everyone on my heels.

Turning down a hallway I come down to a skidding holt when I see one of the blade members getting thrown against the wall.
