Keith's P.O.V.

Letting out a growl an angry growl of pain I feel my mask disappear as my hood falls back. Kolivan rushes to my side as I am over come with a sharp pain. Meaning that more of me is becoming Galra. Forcing me to my feet we jump out of the way of a purple blast. While the beast lets our a roar I notice them the paladains are here and running towards us. Panicking slightly I try to activate my mask to not avail as it is probably busted. Causing the sharp pain to return and me to become even more Galra. Noticing my eyes flash purple his eyes glance at the running paladains then to my new face. "Its going to be alright Keith it is time they know just breath okay."

As soon as they are by us I can see their eyes widden in surprise. As they quickly realize that it is me they are looking at. Kolivan thankful diverts their attention from me. "We have to find somewhere to hide before the creature finds us again."

Hiding in a Galra's sleeping chamber. Helping me sit down on the bed. I glance at everyone waiting for them to react. My eyes watch them carefully waiting. As they are no longer the purplish color now they are a yellow covering ever inch of my eyes. While I have purplish pupils that look like cat's being narrowed in slit shapes. My teeth all having becomed sharp fangs. Though I know it is my ears and tail that really draw their attention. Not the purple and black fur visible on some parts of my body. As me ears are pulled back allowing my emotions to be on full display. Along with my tail which flickers nervously in my lap. "Keith?"

Looking up at Pidge becone even more nervous. As Galras are the ones who took her brother and father. "You're... You... You look like a galra."

Flinching slightly I am surprised when she wraps her arms around me. Hugging me gently, so that she doesn't hurt my already aching body. "Oh Keith why didn't you tell us sooner we could have helped you."

Returning her hug I let out a small sigh of relief. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys and that you had to find out this way. Now what are you guys doing here? It's not safe."

Letting go of me Pidge moves out of the way allowing Lance to come sit next to me. Making my ears perk and my tail thump against my lap happily. Quickly placing my hands over my tail I force it to stay still. While I notice Shiro and Kolivan smirk as I listen to Lance. "It was Red she sensed you were in danger and sent us here."

My ears flicker slightly at the mention of Red. That's when I hear Regris on our comma. "Keith Kolivan we have to get out here the creature on this ship it hunts and kills Gal..."

Hearing a loud thud and a gruggling sound until all we hear is static. Panicing I bolt to my feet and try to contact him. "Regris this is Keith
respond. Regris this is Keith respond. Please Regris respond. REGRIS RESPOND!"

My tail cuts through the air with anger and fear as I storm towards the door. Only to be stopped by Shiro blocking the doorway. "Keith I can't let you go out there not with that thing out there."

"I don't care about that creature Regris is out there alone and we can't get in contact with him. Like you Shiro Regris is like a brother to me I won't leave him out there with that beast!"

I see a startled look on Shiro's face. As not only did I snap at him. But I could feel that my eyes had flashed purple again. "Keith you need to slow your breathing and calm your heart."

Taking in a deep breath I slowly let it out. "I am not leaving him Shiro. We came here on a mission to gather information from this ship. Which Regris has gathered I am going to get that data and Regris with or without your help."

Kolivan places a hand on my shoulder and with a nod we get past Shiro and bolt out the room. I can't say I am not surprised when I hear several footsteps running after us. As we make our way to the control room as fast as possible. When we get there my heart stops while my breath is caught in my throat. Sprawled out on the floor struggling to breath is Regris. Racing towards him I try and tend to his wound. While Kolivan tries to find the data drive. Regris places a hand over mine and with his other he deactivates his helmet. So he can give me a small knowing smile. "Regris don't you're going to be fine. You've survived worse then this."

"Hey Keith look at me."

Looking away from his wound I make sure to keep pressure as look at him. Meeting his eyes I become on the verge of tears as he squeezes my hand tightly. "You listen to me now its..."

Wincing he lets out a growl of pain. As his blood starts oozing faster between my hands. Bringing his hand to my face he makes me look at him again. Covering my face with his dark purple blood. Kneeling next to me Kolivan takes over on tending to Regris's wounds, so that I can listen to what he has to say. Taking his hand properly into mine I wrap my tail around his. Trying to offer him as much comfort as I can. "Keith don't blame yourself for this. This is not your fault little cub. Do you understand? Do you understand Keith?"

Tightening my hold on his hand. I feel my tears building up at the rim of my eyes. "I understand Reg."

Giving me a weak smile his eyes struggle to stay open as he says one more thing. "Knowledge or Death."

Noticing the tears in my eyes he tries to wipe them away. "Hey don't cry cub its alright I promise. Now you have to promise not to morn for me Keith. Do you promise me that Keith?"

I open my mouth to answer, but before I can he takes his final breath. Causing the dam of tears and anger to break. Burying my face into my brother's chest I silently cry. Until I am over come by the sudden burst of sharp pains. The same pains that make my body become more and more Galra. Noticing my eyes glowing purple as Kolivan forces me to look at him. "Keith you have to breath and calm your heart rate or your transformation is going to continue to accelerate."

Angry and upset about Regris' death I end up snapping at him in pain. "I don't care anymore!"

Letting out a soft sigh he pulls me against his chest. Holding me tightly as he rubs my head at the base of my ears in a soothing manner. "It is going to be alright my cub it is going to be alright just breath my cub just breath."

While he whispers words in a manage I dont know. I take several shakey breaths forcing my heart rate to slow down. Making the transformation stop along with the pain.

Lance's P.O.V.

"I don't care about that creature Regris is out there alone and we can't get in contact with him. Like you Shiro Regris is like a brother to me I won't leave him out there with that beast!"

I am surprised when Keith snaps at Shiro. It is something no one expects from him. But then I see his flash a glowing purple. Along with the purple fur creeping up his neck when his eyes flashed. "Keith you need to slow your breathing and calm your heart."

Taking a deep breath Keith calms down. "I am not leaving him Shiro. We came here on a mission to gather information from this ship. Which Regris has gathered I am going to get that data and Regris with or without your help."

Kolivan places a hand on Keith's shoulder. Pulling his attention from Shiro. Giving Keith a nod they slip past Shiro and run out the door. Quickly we run out after them finding it hard to keep up with their Galra speed. Entering what looks like the control room we stop at what we see in front of us. Regris laying on the ground with a dark purple blood pooling around him. Keith by his side applying pressure to the wound. "Regris don't you're going to be fine. You've survived worse then this."

"Hey Keith look at me."

With tears in his eyes looks at Regris. He takes one of Keith's hands and squeezes it tightly. "You listen to me now its..."

He stops talking and lets out a loud growl of pain. Wincing as he seems to be lossing blood faster. Keith's attention turns back to Regris' wound. As I can see the panic on his face. Regris brings a hand to Keith's face to make him look at him. Kolivan slips a small device into his armor as he kneels down next to Keith. Taking over on keeping pressure for the wound Keith turns his attention back to Regris. He takes the reptilian galra's hand in his. While he lets his tail slip around the other's tail. Interwining them obvious as a way to comfort the other. "Keith don't blame yourself for this. This is not your fault little cub. Do you understand? Do you understand Keith?"

Watching Keith I notice the tears threatening to spill from his eyes. "I understand Reg."

He gives Keith a weak smile as he is struggling to breath amd keep his eyes open. "Knowledge or Death."

Notcing Keith's tears Regris tries to wipe them away. To no avail as he is to weak to do so. "Hey don't cry cub its alright I promise. Now you have to promise not to morn for me Keith. Do you promise me that Keith?"

Keith is about to reply when Regris ends up taking his final breath. As soon as that happens I see the one thing no one wants to happen. I see Keith break as his tears finally come streaming down his face. Burying his face into Regris' armored chest he cries. Not making a sound as he does so. Until Keith lets out a sudden cry of pain. His eyes change to the glowing purple color again. As he starts to become more Galra just like last time. Kolivan forces Keith to look at him as tells him. "Keith you have to breath and calm your heart rate or your transformation is going to continue to accelerate."

I can see the anger and pain in his eyes. As his ears are pulled back and he bares his fangs at Kolivan as he snaps. "I don't care anymore!"

What happens next surprises all of us. Sighing slightly Kolivan pulls Keith into his arms like a father would his child. As he holds him tightly he rubs Keith's ears as he tells him. "It is going to be alright my cub it is going to be alright just breath my cub just breath."

Keith doesn't fight against Kolivan's hold. As Kolivan speaks to Keith in a voice, so low that only he can hear. While he does that Keith's breathing starts to become steady. As the purple glow fades out making his transformation come to a stop. Rubbing his back I frown slightly as I hear Kolivan talk to Keith. "Its alright my cub its over now don't worry Πατέρας is here for you."

Walking over to Keith I kneel down next to them. "Keith?"

Turning to face me I notice two identical marks on his face. One on either side of the lower half of his face. Going down his checks down his neck and towards his back. (Like the marks on Krolia's face only his are in black.)

Giving him a comforting smile he quickly detaches from Kolivan and attatches to me. Holding onto me tightly he bends over as he nuzzles his face into the crock of my neck. His ears drawn back as he seeks comfort in my arms. As he morns for the loss of the galra who he thought of like his brother. Holding him back just as tight I feel his tail thumping against my leg. "Keith."

Pulling away from me he glances at Regris before turning to Kolivan. Wiping the tears from his eyes he nods. "I know."

"Keith what is this?"

We all look over at Pidge to see that she has gotten the Galra ship's network back up. Though what really has our attention is what's on the screen. On the screen are two pictures of Keith what he use to look like and what he looks like now. Above his picture is says wanted alive. Below the picture is a rather massive reward for Keith's capture and delivery to Prince Lotor. Standing with Kolivan he walks over to Pidge and removes the bounty declaration from the screen. "Keith why does Prince Lotor have a bounty on you?"

Keith tail flickers side to side as his ears stay drawn back. As he avoids Shiro's graze. "We don't know why. But what's important right now is getting off this ship and away from the creature."

"What was that thing anyway?"

I can't help, but shudder slightly at the thought of that creature. "We don't really know all we know it is only that the Galra empire planned to use it against the Blade as it only attacks Galras. Until they realized that it attacked all Galras unable to differentiate between allie and foe."

"We believe that it feeds on the mixed into our Galra blood."

"Which is why you guys are going to get Regris' body and the data to the lions. While Kolivan and I draw the beast attention."

"What?! No there is no way we are going to let you two face that beast without our help."

Keith looks at me slightly surprised by my outburst. Though when his eyes land on mine they seem to soften slightly. His tail swaying behind him gently like a soft wind is making it move. Kolivan leans in towards Keith and whispers something to him. Baring his fangs at Kolivan Keith hisses at him actually hisses at him like a cat. He tries to swat Kolivan with his tail only for it to get caught. "Nice try cub."

As he lets go of Keith's tail he lets out a small growl at Kolivan. Smoothing down his tail he lets it sway back behind him. Removing his golves he reveals purple clawed hands he takes the data drive from Kolvian Keith walks over to me. Placing the data drive in my hands he encases his hands around mine. Causing me to blush slightly. "Lance I need you to trust me and..."

He is cut off when a purple blast shots through the door. The beast lunges through the door disappearing into the cover of the smoke caused by the debris. Squeezing Keith's hand tightly I pull him next to me, so I can keep him in my sights. I jump slightly when I feel something touch my leg. "Relax Lance that's me."

I let out a small sigh of relief, but my relief quickly disappears. When I hear a roar and I feel Keith being snatched from my hand. "KEITH!"

I hear a cry of pain as the smoke of debris clears revealing the beast. Holding Keith up in the air by the throat. While a sentry is on it's othaer hand. The beast's eyes glow activatimg the sentry allowing it to start speaking. "All Galra must die! All Galra must die!"

I start to panic when Keith crys out in pain again as his eyes start to glow purple again. Which gets the beast's attention as it lets out a gurgling sound. Letting the sentry slide off its claws. Before it impales Keith with its claws. Letting out a growl in pain he coughs up blood as his wounds cause him to fully transform into a Galra. "Keith!"

"Yurak!"

Turning its head the beast looks at Kolivan who shouted the name Yurak at Keith. Letting out a vicious growl he pulls out his blade and lunges at the beast. Shaking out of our shock he attack the beast as well assisting Kolivan in his attack. While the beast's attention is on Kolivan. I free Keith from it's claws while Shiro lands a fatal blow to the creature. Holding Keith close to me I hear Kolivan run towards me. When he reachs me he drops to my knees with a loud thud. His normally serious stern face full of fear and worry. Quickly he pulls Keith out from my arms and into his. Moving a strand of Keith's hair out of his face. He holds Keith in his arms tightly. "Yurak its Πατέρας you need to open your eyes my cub. Come on Yurak open your eyes for Πατέρας."

Tears start to fill my eyes as dread starts to creep up my spine. Until I see the tip of his tail twitch slightly. "Keith?"

This time his ears twitch slightly grabbing Kolivan's attention. "Yurak?"

Keith lets out a wheezy breath before groaning slightly. His eyes flickering slightly. We all let out a breath none of us realized that we are holding. Laying Keith out of the ground Kolivan reaches behind his armor pulling out quaze and wrap. Removing Keith's armor he quickly tends to his wounds. Securing the wrap snuggly around Keith's torso. Allowing Shiro to take the armor he carefully picks Keith up and rises to his feet. "We should hurry to the castle of lions."

All of us nod in agreement. Once we get to the castle of lions we hurry Keith into the healing pod. When Keith is secured into the pod I decied to voice what I heard earlier. "Who is Yurak?"

Allura looks at me frowning as if the name sounds familiar. While Kolivan on the other hand freezes at my question. When all of a sudden Coran pops out of no where scaring us all. "Yurak I know that name he was a Guardian known as the savior of the Galra race a long long time before Zarkon started this war."

"But you called Keith Yurak."

Glaring at me the tension in his body seems to grow. Shiro notices this and steps up behind me placing a hand on my shoulder. "What is the name Yurak to you and why did you call Keith by that name?"

Letting out a sigh his shoulders sag as he nods. "Very well I will tell you, but you all might want to sit down."

Deciding that it would be better to talk in the living room. I give Keith one last look before heading to the living room. Sitting down Kolivan sits on the edge of the table in front of us. "Yurak is not only the name of the Guardian, but the name of Zarkon's first born son the rightful heir to the Galra empire."

"Ok, but its impossible for Keith to be that Yurak guy he's lived on earth his whole life."

Kolivan glares at me sligjtly for inturrupting. But I shrug it off not really bothered by it.

"As I was saying it all began when Yurak's mother the empress realized for the first time the monster that Zarkon was becoming. So she fled which was almost impossible as she was due to give birth to Prince Yurak any quintant. At the time I was on a mission for the blade with Antok, Ulaz, and, Thace when we came across her. Her water had only broken a couple doboshes before we found her. She told us that she had fled from Zarkon and was on our side. Offering us the Marmora blade that had belonged to her father before he passed. So we took her onto our ship where she gave birth to the prince. The stress on her body took its toll on her and in her final momenets she named the newborn prince Yurak. He was different then other galra his tail was black which went up his spine and up his face. Never in our history has a galra had black markings before making Yurak rather unique. After laying his mother to rest we took Yurak back to the Blade where we all raised him as one of us. Though Thace, Ulaz, Antok, and I were his primary caregivers. The four of us were his fathers as Thace is my mate and Ulaz is Antok's mate. We made sure he knew about his mother amd who he really was. Trained him as a Blade of Marmora and to be the next Empor of the Galra when the time came. But when Zarkon found out about Yurak and that we had him he started hunting for him. After a little over 9,000 Deca-Phoebs of Yurak be chased we all made the hard choice to send our son away. We had a druid place a spell of Yurak hiding away his memories of all of us. As we then made him along with another blade member look human. Which reverted Yurak to the state of a small human child. As we then sent Yurak and his protector to earth till it was same for him to return."

"So you think that Keith is this Prince Yurak? How can you even be sure?"

Holding his graze with Pidge he studies all of us for a while before he continues talking. "When Keith first started to change we ran many tests as for a half breed to be changing forms like that are impossible. Our tests reveled that Keith wasn't half Galra, but full blooded Galra. As far as I know Yurak and his protector were the only full blooded Galra on earth. So unsure I watched him closely. When I saw his tail and the black fur my suspensions started to grow as like I said Yurak is the only Galra in existence with black markings. Though his memories hadn't started returning like they were suppose too. Then Lotor placed a bounty on Keith's head. Knowing that Yurak is the rightful heir to the throne and can challange him for the throne in single combat. So I countinued to watch over informing the my mate and the others of my suspicions. When I saw the marks appear on Keith's face I knew that without a doubt that he is Yurak. Also if you dont mind I will be taking my data drive back."

Taking the data drive put of my pocket I hand it to him. As soon as he takes it he heads straight to the room where the healing pods are. Getting up I along with everyone else decides to follow him. Only to freeze in the door way when we hear the gentle hiss of the healing pod opening. Falling out of the pod Keith is quickly caught in Kolivan's arms. While the rest of us quiclly shake ourselves out of our daze and run over. Letting out a groan Keith's his ears press against his head. Rubbing his head he slowly opens his eyes to see Kolivan holding him up right. I can see the confusion on his face, but what he says surprises me. "Πατέρας?"
