Y/N tensed for a moment, Immediately using his Observation to scan the area. He noticed her mother was gone from her previous spot, she must be around

Y/N heard from behind him, how did she sneak up on him without him sensing her?! Extending his bisento to its full size, he slashed behind him but it went through her as M/N kicked Y/N in the chest and he flew, crashing into a nearby car

M/N: You were too slow to sense me and forgot one crucial detail.

Y/N brought himself out of the wreckage of the destroyed vehicle and stood against his mother

Y/N: Your as quick as I remembered as a child. My fault for not noticing, that I can agree on

M/N: Flattery won't help you here.

M/N walked slowly towards Y/N, As she stopped infront of him.

M/N: Tell me son, have you ever been kicked at Light Speed?

But M/N quickly brought up her left leg and went to kick him, but her leg went through his head as all that remained was a patch of fire before it reformed itself back into his head again

M/N smiled a little, bringing down her leg, she covered her right leg in Haki.

M/N: But being intangible won't help of your enemy can counter it.

Before she even let Y/N speak, she twirled around, raising her right leg and kicking Y/N through the car and crashing into the building behind them.

Inside the building, Y/N was getting up from the rubble

Y/N: I don't get it, I was intangible. Only if she had any ice would she be able to hit me, ice is my natural counter. But she still managed to hit me without it.

He dusted off the dirt from his clothes, fortunately he's been learning on the fly his mothers timing on her attacks and used Armament Ability to increase his durability.

She said as she raised her foot again, she went to kick him again but she was surprised when Y/N caught her foot in her hand.

M/N shifted as she slid across the floor until she stopped.

M/N saw the attack coming and turned into light and escaped the attack. The wave traveled across the street and into the building, bringing it crashing down.

M/N reformed herself on a nearby roof, with a little notebook and pencil in hand.

M/N: Well he's learning but he's reckless with this power. Even though this is a test, he has to take consideration of someone still being nearby.

She closed the notebook and placed them in her pocket. She saw Y/N coming out of the building, noticing that he was looking in her direction.

M/N: What will you do now?

She wondered, she saw him turn his back and begin to walk away, supposedly towards the exit gate.

M/N: Oh you wish it was that easy.

She said as she brought her hands together and formed a light between them

But she was caught off guard when Y/N sent out a shockwave actoss the entire ciry. The wave shattered all the glass window it came across, M/N's coat violently moved against the wind. As the wave died down, Y/N continued his way towards the exit

M/N: Huh, clever boy. I knew it was a mistake to explain that move to you.

She said as she jumped and landed on the street, she picked up a shard of glass in her hand. Looking at her reflection

M/N: This'll do

She said as she threw it towards a little to the left from Y/N and brought her hands together

M/N: Yata No Kagami

She said as her light bounced off the shard of glass and towards Y/N, and she reformed herself and aimed to kick Y/N again. But as she was about to, Y/N turned and aimed his hand at her and snapped his fingers

M/N was blown back, as parts of her body were blown off but she turned into light and reformed herself nearby, she picked up some shards of glass in between her fingers

Y/N: Clever move there mother, i can see where i get my smarts from.

M/N dusted off the dirt from her coat and placed the glass in her coat pocket

M/N: Maybe, Your learning quickly. We're in the final stretch, let's see if you can keep up with me

She said as threw a few shards into the walls and they didn't break on contact, rather got stuck in the walls. She then disappeared in a flash of light and Y/N readied himself for when she appears

Y/N: She's mainly proficient in kicks rather than punches, that's another thing I know about you mother

He said to the wind, he can sense her presence nearby. He knows that she can't face him head on, she has to be clever to match his strength and catch him off...

Y/N: OW!

He exclaimed as M/N kicked him behind his head before disappearing again

He looked around, sensing she was inside the building.

His right was then lit up in flames and aimed at the entrance.

He shot a column of fire into the building and it spread to every room and M/N jumped out the window and landed a few feet infront of him

M/N: Used fire to flush me out huh? You should stick to flames for a while, it'll be less dangerous to everything.

Y/N: Maybe, so does this mean I win?

M/N quickly brought her hands together again but as the light was traveling, Y/N cut the light and M/N was trapped again

M/N: I see your getting the hang of your Observation Haki, it'll help you sense people from far away, it'll even help you see people who are invisible like your invisible friend in class.

Y/N: Hm, I can see different colors when I use it

M/N: With Observation, you can tell the feeling, strength, and presence of a person. However, there's another thing Observation Haki can do, and it's something that not even your father could do.

Y/N was confused, he saw her mother close her eyes and take a deep breath before opening them and show a motionless face

M/N: Tell you what, land one hit on me and I'll let you pass.

Y/N was skeptical, but anything to end this as quick as he wanted. Walking up to her and raising his weapon, be brought it down on her then saw the look in her eyes

At the last moment, M/N sideways dodged his attack and upper kicked him back. Y/N was shocked but tried again, the following was just failed attempts while M/N effortlessly dodged each one.

And them she switched on the offensive, she went in and threw kick after kick, Y/N tried to defend himself but it's as if she's seeing into the future and countering each attempt flawlessly.

M/N: Alright, I'll be honest. I was holding back a little bit

She said as she raised her hand and pointed a finger at him, and the tip appeared a laser, ready to fire at him.
