*Backstage, on screen*

After a confrontation with Roman Reigns, the Authority have Seth pick his teammates for the main event tonight.

Seth says. "Okay, I get that I'm the captain for my team tonight, but I will struggle in finding any sort of teammate", then he thought about something. "How about I choose-"

Stephanie in a serious cold tone. "No." This made Triple H sigh for a bit.

"Come on, honey. It would be a good experience for him. You know we promised him to have a match tonight", he said, which made Steph look away.

She then said. "I know that, Hunter. But he's going to face more than one guy in the ring. I don't want him to go into that match".

Seth then said. "Okay. I understand, Steph. You don't want Michael to be in the team. But, like Hunter said, it would be a great experience for him, including showing off his skills in the ring."

Stephanie thinks about for a short while, before sighing for a bit.

"Alright. Fine. Michael will be in your team tonight" this caused the fans to cheer for a bit. "But, if he gets hurt, Seth, then I'll personally give you hell."

The fans oohs as she leaves from camera view. Seth had a scared look on his face, making the crowd laugh a bit as Triple H patted his back to calm him down.

He said. "Sorry. Even though Michael is around 17-18 years old, she still sees him as her baby. But don't worry, I know for a fact that you won't let Mike get hurt, Seth." He smiles. "Good luck."

He leaves as Seth sighs and goes to find Michael.

*later, backstage onscreen*

Michael is seen listening to music from his phone as Seth goes up to him. Mike sees him and takes off his headphones.

Mike: Hey, Seth. What you need?

Seth: Well, I got news for you, Mike. You're going to be a member of Team Rollins.

Mike: What? That cool. *stands up* So, you and dad managed to convince mom, right?

Seth: Yes. And I don't want to experience that again.
This made the crowd and Michael laugh a bit.

Mike: Okay. Thanks for telling me that, Seth. I'll be putting on my ring attire, so go find some more teammates, alright?

Seth: Sure. See ya soon, Mike.

Seth pats him in the back and leaves from camera view. Mike smiles as he makes his way to the locker room. Suddenly, he bumps into someone.

Mike: Oh, sorry. I wasn't watching where-

He then sees who he bumped into.

Charlotte: Oh, hey Michael. It's been a while since I last you.

Michael: Oh, it's good to see you too, Charlotte. Sorry about bumping you.

Charlotte: Don't worry about it. With you. I don't mind. So, how's your day been doing?

Michael: So far so good. I know got to be in a match tonight.

Charlotte: Really? That's amazing. Can't wait to see your skills in the ring, Mike. See ya.

Mike: Bye. *while Charlotte leaves* Tell Becky I said hi!

He smiles and shook his head. He then leaves from camera view as the scene cuts away.

*later, in the ring*

The New Day and Seth are in the ring, waiting for Michael to arrive. Soon enough, Michael's theme plays, as he soon comes out of the stage in his wrestling attire.

Lillian: And finally, from Greenwich, Connecticut, Michael McMahon!

Michael starts to make his way to the ring, shaking his head at the New Day who are dancing with Seth looking like he wants to die. Michael soon enters the ring, giving high fives to the New Day and fist bump to Seth.

JBL: I can't wait for this match. We're going to see what Michael's capable of.

Byron: Michael is the youngest out of everyone in that ring right know. Let's hope he has some experience in the ring.

Michael: Yeah. No telling what Stephanie would think if he gets hurt.

Michael sat on the turnbuckle while Roman's theme hit, he made his way down through the crowd and hoped over the barricade. Ryback's theme hit as he did his taunt before walking down and meeting Roman at the bottom of the ramp, Dean Ambrose theme hit as he walked out to a loud pop.

Seth: That it? That's all of your team?

Roman smirked, The Usos theme hit as they came out getting a loud pop since they were out for a long time due to injury. They got in the ring and looked at Seth team who was glaring at them.

Mike: Want to take that back, Seth?

Seth glares at him, who just made a nervous smile before going behind the ropes and stand on the apron. Then, the bell rings as Xavier begins the match.

Xavier was pacing back and forth getting pumped as the rest of the team was getting him pumped and ready.

Xavier: I got this! I got this, it's my time.

Michael: You got this man! Go get 'em!

Xavier went after Jimmy but ran right into a superkick from Jimmy who quickly tags in his brother. He went to the top rope and hit a Frog Splash before hooking his legs.

Michael: He don't got it.

Xavier was eliminated as the match continues.

*later*

Kofi and Jey were eliminated next as Jimmy takes on Big E. After a super kick, Big E was about to fall out of the ring, until Michael secretly tags himself in. Seth grew a bit worried as he knew Michael rags himself and Jimmy was going for a Suicide dive.

Jimmy runs off the ropes, until Michael enters the ring and hits Sweet Chin Music, getting a large pop from the crowd.

Michael: Sweet Chin Music by Michael McMahon!

JBL: Out of nowhere!

Michael goes down and covers Jimmy Uso, eliminating him.

Lillian: Jimmy Uso has been eliminated!

Seth: That's what I'm talking about! Good job Michael!

Byron: Looks like Seth is proud of Michael.

JBL: Like a older brother to his younger brother.

Michael: Yeah. And taking a page out of Shawn Michaels playbook.

Michael looks at the other team, as they look at him with a few impressed looks on their faces.

*later*

Big E and Ryback were eliminated as only Seth, Mike, Dean, and Roman are left. Seth goes against Dean as Michael cheers him on. Suddenly, Dean made a surprise pin, eliminating Rollins as Michael is the only one left against two former members of the Shield.

Michael: Uh-oh!

Byron: Michael's the only one left!

JBL: Get out of there, Mike! It's not worth it!

Michael enters the ring as Dean stares him down, easily towering over him. Both stared at each other with Michael a bit nervous before calming his nerves and both went into collar elbow tie up.

Byron: Got to admit, Michael has some guts in him.

Dean easily overpowered him as he went into a side headlock. Soon Michael pulls them both against the ropes and pushes Dean off him. Ambrose goes for a shoulder block, but Michael caught him and hits a facebuster, the same one his father uses.

Michael: Ooh! What a facebuster by Michael!

JBL: Taking a page out his daddy's playbook.

Dean was stunned as Michael runs back against the ropes and hits a dropkick, knocking Ambrose down. He stood up, as the crowd started to cheer for him as he waits for Dean to get up.

Soon, he starts to tune up the band with the crowd cheering him own.

Michael: Looks like Michael's going for another Sweet Chin Music on Ambrose!

When Dean gets up and turns around, Michael goes for it but Dean caught his leg, holding it up as the crowd oohs.

Byron: He's caught!

JBL: Oh-no!

Dean: You did good. Sorry, but I'm ending this match.

He pushes the leg down and kicks him in the chest, before grabbing him.

Michael: Looking for Dirty Deeds!

Before he could look him in, Michael spins around, releasing himself before kicking him in the gut and setting him up before hitting the Pedigree, much to the crowds amazement.

Michael: Pedigree by Michael! Using his father's move on Ambrose!

JBL: His father should be proud! That was an awesome Pedigree! Even better then Seth's!

Byron: Can't argue with that!

Michael turns Dean over and covers him.

"1, 2, 3!"

Michael: Ambrose eliminated!

JBL: This is amazing! Michael eliminated 2 other superstars in this match!

Lillian: Dean Ambrose has been eliminated!

Byron: But wait.

Michael stood up and looks at Roman.

Michael: I think Michael realized Roman is the last one in his team.

Roman enters the ring as Michael was getting even more nervous. But he was smart so he didn't charge at him. Both started circling around the ring, slowly closing at each other.

Reigns went for a right hand, but Michael ducks under and when he turns around, Michael starts hitting him with a few punches before going running off the ropes, but was met with a shoulder block, knocking him down.

He rolls out of the ring and takes a breather with Roman going after him, suddenly Seth appears and hits him with a chair, making the ref call for the bell, with Reigns winning in disqualification.

He picks him up and rolls him back inside the ring. He walks past, Michael, patting him in the back, making him look at him in confusion.

Going up the steps, Seth got back in the ring. Michael walks from behind the area and heads over to the ring by the ramp.

Seth goes to swing the chair but was met with a Superman Punch, sending him outside the ring, with Michael laughing his ass off.

He stares at him with a glare and Reigns glares back. Then he turns to Michael, giving him a thumbs up and a nod, making the crowd cheer as Michael smiles back and nods.
