14. Camp Fire
Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters apart from Hannah.
*Hannah*
Everyone looked shocked when Luke fainted. Apparently this wasn't like him. He woke up and his face paled dramatically.
"Luke? Are you ok?" Michael asked.
"Percy..." Luke whispered.
"What about Percy?" I asked
"Percy was the one who made me faint." Luke explained.
"What do you mean?" Zoe asked
Luke quickly explained hat happened and the fact that Percy said he would be back soon.
"How will he manage to get out thought?" I asked. If Percy had been taken by Kronos, it wouldn't be easy to get out.
"Trust me Hannah, Percy has been in alot of situations and yes, some worse than this and that was before he was made immortal, he'll be fine," Luke reassuered me. "Now-" He continued. "I think its time we go and tell the campers about the new and improved Percy... well I say new, he is older than all of us now..." Luke trailed off and then looked at me. "Hannah, can you run and tell Chiron that were running the camp fire tonight." I nodded and left the cabin.
As I was running I saw many people walking with their head lowered, looking at the floor. The immortal campers, however, were sitting in a circle on the floor. Annabeth was being hugged by Piper on one side and Hazel on the other, all of who were crying. Leo, Jason and Frank were all trying to be manly however, each had a tear or two rolling down their face.
I shook my head and continued running.
When I got to the big house, the gods were all with Chiron asking Hades questions.
"Hades, you knew it was him."
"Hades, why didn't you tell me he was here?"
"Hades-"
I cleared my throat.
"I'm sorry to interupt, but the Chaos Cabin told me to tell you that they wish to run the campfire tonight." I looked at Chiron. He looked watery eyed, much alike most of the other gods.
"Thank you Hannah." Chiron said to me. I stood there for a moment thinking about the fact that Percy is trying to escape by himself. I couldn't help but think that he might not make it back. I may only be 8, but living as a demigod, you grow up fast. That said, I still couldnt stop my eyes from watering over. Before I knew it, I was stood before all of the gods, crying my eyes out.
Before anyone could say anything, I quickly turned on my foot and ran back to the Chaos cabin. As soon as I got to the door, I ran in and hugged the first person I could find. That person happened to be Sliena who was standing closest to the door.
"Whats wrong, sweety?" She asked kindly.
I couldnt answer. I just shook my head and burried my shoulder deeper into her shoulder. Sliena quickly hugged me back.
Whaen I could finally stop crying, I turned my head to see all the Chaos cabin looking and me from where they sat in the room. I let go of Sliena and turned around.
"Are you ok?" Lee asked. I nodded my head.
"What happened?" Beckendorf asked.
"N...nothing. It's just P...Percy" I replied sniffing.
Luke walked up to me and gav me another hug which I gladly returned.
I sniffed.
"Come on. We need to go, the campfire starts soon." I said pulling away from Luke but still taking his hand.
--------------Time Skip-------------
All the campers were gathered in there normal seats. I was standing with all of the Chaos warriors by the fire. I was still clutching on to Lukes hand like it was my life force.
"Quiet" Chiron called. All the gods took a seat around the edge. I was a bit annoyed with my dad, Apollo. He watched me run of crying my eyes out and didnt come to see if I was ok.
That's when Luke started.
"Right, so, Im sure that the immortal campers have told you about Percy's Adventures on Earth, Yes?"
Everyone nodding.
"Right, well, were going to talk to you about the days after he left. He spent the first 100 years alone, training with Chaos and then going on missions for him. He didn't have anyone else to speak to. At the end of those 100 years Perce had mastered everything that he could. He could last about 5 minutes in a battle against Chaos, which by the way, is the longest that anyone has ever lasted. He created us. The ace team or team ace. We were the first into the army. No, we will not tell you our identities just like Percy didn't want to tell you his. We've spent the last 6900 years training going on missions and saving the worlds. Let me tell you now,y Percy has only gotten stronger. Once, he got so annoyed when a girl he had previously protected died, he blew up a whole planet in a blink of an eye. And yes, before you ask, he did know that it was unpopulated." Luke paused to look around and squeezed my hand.
Bianca continued.
"It took a while for him to open up to us. We have all met him before which is why he chose us, when we met him again, he looked so broken. So damaged. So unfixable." Most of the girls were crying on each others shoulders. We continued telling them about all our adventures on the planets and about how he nearly blew up a planet when he found out he had to come here.
Then Bianca started again.
"He still isn't fixed. You can see it in his eyes. You hardly saw him. When he comes back, look at his eyes"
"I'd rather they didn't."
*Percy*
Right, ok. If I don't hurry up and get out, Luke and the others are going to come and find me and get hurt. No one that I trusted, excluding Chiron, would be there to look after Hannah. Knowing her, she would do those adorable Puppy eyes until Luke let her come to help.
"Ahh Percy, have you enjoyed the last three hours, hummmm? You have been away for a long time." Kronos said referring to the torture he had just finished.
"Please" I whispered, pretending to be weak and feeble. "I need to tell you something important." I whispered again. Kronos inched forward, but that was all I needed. Kronos was now in hitting range.
In one swift movement, I moved my head back and then forward, straight into Kronos' head. Who knew it was so easy to knock out a titan.
We were the only two in the room but I have no doubt that there are cameras, more people will be coming soon.
I quickly undid the ties that were attached to me and stood up. I run to the door to find that Kronos had left it unlocked. I started to get a bit weary, this is too easy.
I ran down the corridor trying to find an exit. I ran into the occasional monster and killed it.
After only 5 minutes of running, I found the exit. I ran though ignoring the feeling that this was way to easy.
And that was my mistake.
I tuned the corner to find atleast 4000 monsters waiting to fight me, lead by none other than Gaia herself.
"Hello Sister." I said, glad that Riptide was in my pocket as always.
"AH, Perseus, my little, adopted, brother. Did you honestly think we would let you go that easily" she murmured darkly.
After her saying that I charged, however, just before I reached her, she teleported out.
So I got to work in the monsters. They only took me about 5 or 10 minutes.
Time to go back to camp HalfBlood.
This is going to be hell! They all know who I am now. They're all going to treat me like they did when I left.
I shook my head. I have to do this for the army, the mortals and Hannah.
I started walking. I swear, all this torture has made me dumb.
I thought, the campers would be having the Campfire around about now so I teleported behind them, behind a tree or two.
I listened to what they were talking about and decided I'd make myself known.
"He still isn't fix. You can see it in his eyes, when he comes back, look."
"I'd rather they didn't"
