I started the day by, once again, walking to school. Dad notified me that the car won't be repaired until the weekend if we're lucky. On the second corner from my house, the same corner where all those strange things happened, when I ran into Ryan. She continued the walk to school with me. "So you're... ah... group, they think my mom was... murdered?" I asked. "Well, it's just a wild guess right now. So I think you should nether believe it or disbelieve it." I thought about this for the rest of the walk.
Once at school, Ryan stopped at the front door of the school. "I'll be around the school... but just because I'm here doesn't mean you shouldn't be on the lookout..." I nodded,"Okay, I'll meet you here after school." I turned and walked into the school. "How talkin' to? Your imaginary friend?" "Go away Andy," I said. Andy followed me down the hall. "Alice, ya goin' a bit insane Alice? A little messed up in the head?" Andy poked the side of my head. I leaned away from him and sped up. Shoving my backpack into my locker. I jogged down the hall to catch up to Clare.
"Well it's interesting to see you with someone real," Andy sneered from behind me and Clare. Clare stopped walking and turned to face Andy, "Leave us alone." "Or what," Andy said folding his arms and glaring and Clare. " Or I'll send Abby after you," she said, copying him. "I could kill that dumb dog in one hit." I leaned over and whispered to Clare," You don't have to do this." "But this is what friend are for," she responded. Andy turned to me," Your little friends won't always be there to help you, Alice. Not all the time." He hit his fist into his hand threateningly and walked away.
"Why did he go after you this time?" Clare asked as we walked down the hall. I stayed silent, not knowing if I should tell her or not. " Alright, you don't have to tell me..." "Thanks..." I said quietly. Clare smiled and hugged me," No problem bro."

The final bell rang. I grabbed my bag and walked outside. Ryan was leaning against the fence, her hair still covering her eyes like it has been whenever I see her. "Andy's seems like a jac- jerk." I laughed. "Yeah I have a feeling that this is my fault," Ryan said," I mean I was the one who made you look, as he said, insane." I sighed and rolled my eyes," It's fine, don't feel bad." Ryan smiled and nodded," You know, Clare's a good friend." "Yeah... you know it's serious when she send Abby into the fight. She loves that dog."
I looked back at the school to see Andy shoving a sixth grader. "I can help with this one if you want," Ryan smiled. I nodded and smiled back then yelled," Hey Andy, leave the kid alone!" Andy stopped and looked at me," Or what loopy?" I had no idea what to say or do as Andy walked over. "Are the voices in your head telling you what to again," Andy taunted, poking my forehead. I slapped his hand away," Maybe they are." I could hear Ryan laughing, "Nice one Alice!"
Andy looked slightly scared for a second, then said," Well voices in you head can't protect you, can't they?" Ryan leaned in and whispered to me. " How do you know? From what I've head I'm the one with the voices." The kids who hadn't left yet were all gathered around, waiting for a fight to break out. I looked back to see what Ryan was going to do. She raised her hand, facing Andy. " So, I'm waiting!," Andy said looking annoyed, " Fine then." Andy raid his fist, getting ready punch. I was waiting for impact when Andy was knocked down. No one had touched him, and yet he had flown at least three feet off the ground, and four feet back.
Everyone gasped. Some ran away screaming and some, mainly the ones who had been bullied by him, clapped. Andy sat up, looking terrified. "Your- your insane!" He scrambled to his feet and ran off. "Lets go home," I said to Ryan, no caring if they all thought I was crazy. " That was fun! Oh I'm glad I was picked to protect you!" We walked down to the corner, called Misty and had her take us back to my house.
