[Chapter 12] - Judicial Progression
(POV - 3RD)
It hasn't been a few minutes into the fight and yet the entirety of the interior of the opera stage was ruined by the chaos inflicted by both the King of Puppets and (Y/N) who avoided the attacks for the majority of the fight which resulted in the mess in the first place.
The Player was rather adamant in focusing on the attacks as well as memorising them, noting how most of them involved the giant puppet taking advantage of its wide reach and swinging around its elongated arms like a flail.
Most were predictable and rather easy to dodge and counter against which caused significant damage to the puppet's frame though (Y/N) was caught off-guard once the King suddenly transformed itself into a giant turbine-like machine and fired off a barrage of glowing projectiles.
Said projectiles was quite widespread throughout the room and caused miniature explosions that tore up the floor, furniture and chipped away at his [HP] but overall, he wasn't struggling too badly against the giant puppet.
Unfortunately, his [Luck] must still be inadequately low because he somehow stumbled on a broken debris which consequently allowed the King of Puppets to swipe a giant arm right at him and smash him into the wall, this time taking a small chunk of [HP].
(Y/N) coughed slightly at the impact, the brunt of it having been diminished due to the points he'd invested into [Endurance] which increased his overall durability and steadiness though it didn't stop his bones and flesh from aching alongside his organs.
He wager normal people would have immediately died on impact or at the very least get a broken back from the impact so thankfully he was tougher than that, speaking of which (Y/N) took this chance to glance at his own stats.
Only right after avoiding a table being thrown at him which he rolled out of the way, the furniture splintering into pieces as it made contact with the wall behind him.
The Player then sprinted around the entire room and the King of Puppets, keeping an eye out for debris on the ground and thrown towards him and his stats.

===================================
So far, his [HP] and [MP] were both sitting comfortably high near their limits which meant he could afford to do more costly moves with his abilities, one that (Y/N) is going to take full advantage of as soon as he rolls away from another wreckage thrown him.
"Alright... my turn." The Player finally stated, sliding underneath a swinging arm before activating [Shadow Shift], vanishing into the darkened ground.
Before reappearing behind the giant puppet and proceeding to activate [Dash] just as the former turned around to see (Y/N) disappear into a blur and closing in the distance in an instant with the Kirkhammer raised up high.
"{!?!}" There was no words garbled out, just another quick attempt to slam its arm down onto the Player who leapt aside and then onto the arm itself.
Normally no one or even (Y/N) would be able to get a foothold on the puppet's giant limbs but his increased momentum and speed allowed the former to simply place one foot onto a single leverage before pushing upwards with the same tactic without the concerning of slipping off.
In a span of seconds, all the King of Puppets could see was (Y/N)'s attacking figure with the stone hammer aimed at its face, one that the machine attempted to block with its smaller hand but only to get both hand and face immensely fractured from the latter's strength.
The force behind (Y/N)'s swing was powerful enough to comically cause the giant puppet's head to spin around in circles as it stumbled back from the attack but not before swinging at the still airborne Player with another one of its elongated arm.
*SHINK*
But only to find the same limb to be now sliced off from (Y/N) pulling the blade out of the hammer just in time to block the puppet's arm whose own force behind its attack was enough to cleave off a segment of its limb.
(Y/N) landed on the floor and then intercepting another punch aimed down at him via the activation of [Chain Strikes], his arm turning into a blur as his sword became a flash that sliced and diced into the metallic claw.
A burst of metal and springs and gears showered in front of (Y/N) as he caused the King of Puppets to stumble back again, having just righted its head but only to see its attack fail and result in another loss of its arm.
"{You..! You are no human... what are you?}" The static-filled voice demanded out loud, apprehension and wonder clouding its tone simultaneously.
"A hunter." Was all (Y/N) answered with, sheathing the blade into the Kirkhammer once more as he hefted it upon his shoulder.
[Skill: Dash has activated]
And then he disappeared into a blur once again, charging at the King of Puppets who chose to stand its ground and began spinning the entirety of its body around like a fan, its arms though broken, are still long enough to act as a pair of flails aiming at (Y/N)'s approaching form.
Unfortunately, it would find its effort moot as (Y/N) utilised another one of his abilities, one that wouldn't immobilise the giant puppet but at least restrain its movement for just a small moment that is enough to provide an ample window of opportunity.
[Skill: Shadow Lock has activated]
The King of Puppets felt itself freeze against its will, garbling out nothing but silence as the Player's hold on it mechanical body had simply forced away their movements for brief seconds.
It was enough time for (Y/N) to swing the Kirkhammer right into its face once again, rupturing the pristine materials and frame holding the head together almost instantaneously.
(Y/N)'s force and momentum easily tore the puppet's head off, sending the broken piece careening across the air along with the crown that fell from its perch and onto the floor with a heavy crash, abdicating the King of Puppets at last.
The headless body of the giant puppet itself was left standing for a few seconds before it too, fell into the ground which caused dust and splintered fragments to fly around its body and partly onto (Y/N)'s clothes which the latter patted off as he walked away.
Though he stopped after a few steps as there was not a single notification from his [System] informing him on the boss' death and the dungeon's completion, causing (Y/N) to raise a brow as sighed and rolled his shoulders and arms.
Just in time to hear a massive explosion and a sudden eruption of flames around the room.
"Knew it..." Was all (Y/N) thought as he turned to face the raging inferno on top of the King of Puppets' body that was charring fast into ashes.
Within it, emerged a faint figure that slowly revealed itself from the burning fire, its body equally charred as the ashes that is gathering in the air and ground, uncovering the metallic frame underneath that mimicked that of a human.
The body was completely burnt down to its metal skin but the head was still intact enough to retain a humanoid face of stark white skin with pale blond hair though one side of the face was also burnt down to reveal the puppet underneath the living lie of a human being.
One who (Y/N) finally saw the name emerge from the [System]'s discernment of the new enemy approaching him for another fight, one whose name is still in dark red and now armed with nothing but a scythe in one hand and a glowing red eye that zeroed onto him.
[Romeo the King of Puppets]
(Y/N) stood there, scrutinising the puppet and its weapon before he dismissed the Kirkhammer, uncaring if the latter witnessed it and then brought out the Lotus Armaments, specifically one sword from the entire case.
He had a nagging feeling that this next fight will be highly based around agility so a single sword should be useful in playing fast against another nimble opponent, if he assumed correctly.
Romeo took one step forward from the blaze and then leapt into the air with its scythe raised dangerously up high with a malicious gleam that tore through the air like a deadly bullet which imbedded itself into the ground where (Y/N) once stood.
"Fast it is..." He muttered, brandishing his own weapon as the puppet ripped its weapon out of the ground, gazing at him with its red eye.
"{Hunter or human, it doesn't matter. I cannot let you leave this place. I have to warn Carlo... I need to warn him... I must... even if I go up in white hot flames..!}"
(Y/N) took a single breath of air and Romeo immediately closed in the distance again with a wide and swift strike of his scythe which the former quickly held his own sword out in front of him, blocking the majority of the damage as the rest tremored through him like ripples.
"{I have to kill you! I MUST kill you! There is no other way!}"
Romeo roared and swung back twice and mechanically just as the Player activated [Shadow Aura] and swung back himself, his sword meeting the sickle in a deadly clash of spark and heat as the former disengaged immediately from the lock.
However, (Y/N) didn't let up his attacks as he began hurling [Shadow Orb] after one and another towards the puppet king who responded by evading each projectiles, skimming across the floor with sparks leaving its feet from the speed that accompanied it.
Of course, the Player wasn't actually aiming to eliminate Romeo via the orbs themselves but simply to impair the latter from advancing smoothly towards him and so far, every single shot from (Y/N) had been avoided thanks to the puppet's unnatural agility.
An unnatural agility that was further emphasised when Romeo suddenly lunged towards him, the puppet's sickle raised high again which (Y/N) hastily raised his blade to block the incoming strike but unfortunately positioning himself in a dire spot.
The moment Romeo's weapon made contact with his own, (Y/N) felt a sharp digging down right into his flesh and besides his shoulder blade, the majority of the sickle had been blocked but the curved tip of the puppet's weapon was long enough to cut past the latter's guard.
(Y/N) gasped as the pain momentarily caused him to stumble as he struggled to keep his strength up and ignore the twisting sensation of metal piercing his bones and flesh along with the lukewarm blood trickling down his back and seeping into his clothes.
Despite the pain that threatened to topple him over, (Y/N) let out a growl that turned to an almost guttural shout as he distracted himself from his injury before keeping one hand tightly gripped on his sword as he let the other hand go.
[Skill: Shadow Arms has activated]
Just on cue, a small dagger materialised into (Y/N)'s hand as he impaled it into Romeo's chest before ripping back out and piercing it back in again without stopping.
[Skill: Chain Strikes has activated]
Without warning, (Y/N) disengaged his sword from the scythe that was still pierced into his shoulder and began stabbing both dagger and the sword into Romeo's chest, holding the puppet in place using his own body as a vice for the sickle's tip.
He couldn't help but gasp and choke out in pain but he never screamed as he focused everything into riddling the puppet king with holes until it dies, his stabs turned into slashes which gradually tore Romeo's frame apart.
One final slash and (Y/N) kicked the King of Puppets away from him, sending the latter tumbling across the floor as its body is now marred with not just ashes and burnt marks but also cuts ranging from deep to shallow to grazes.
Yet even though the damage Romeo had suffered was enough to dismantle a single puppet, it was never an ordinary puppet to begin with, it may have lost his humanity but it still retained the memories that were ever present with it during the battle.
Its memories of his childhood, its life at the orphanage and most importantly... Carlo.
The memories were the last remaining vestige of humanity the puppet once simply known as the human child Romeo and it was the catalyst for a flame that grew within its puppet body.
A flame that became uncontrollable and enraged but whether it was out of fear or hate or any emotions that remained within Romeo that screamed at the puppet of the fight's nearing end.
Which meant one will stand and one will fall.
"{White hot flames... it's all going up in bright... white... flames..!}"
Just as (Y/N) gripped and felt around his wound, Romeo abruptly burst into flames which fuelled the inferno around the opera room, the stage burnt, curtains fell, debris and splinters propagated the fire and everything is beginning to sting.
The Player coughed slighty as he drenched his hunter's mask with his own blood, not the best solution or method when it comes to stopping himself from breathing in the smoke and heat but it will have to do for now and until he defeats the puppet in front of him.
"{Ah... I'm burning up..!}"
In a blink of an eye, (Y/N) found Romeo lunging right towards with a burst of speed that dwarfed the previous speed displayed by the puppet and before the former knew it, he had the entire Lotus Armament case out and using it as a shield against a flurry of strikes.
The Player quickly began slashing back, knocking and deflecting all the attacks aimed towards his vital areas as best as he could, he would have clearly died already had it not been the blessing granted by "God" which gave him an immediate knowledge on wielding weapons.
It was certainly a "cheat" but right now, it is one that's saving his life from getting decapitated or bisected by the madden puppet so he won't complain although this stalemate of repetitive slicing and dicing and counteracting needs to be stopped quickly.
Just as (Y/N) parried another strike from Romeo, he instantly took the chance and retaliated via a cut to the machine's chest but the former soon failed to get another hit in as the latter bolted out of danger and around the Player's position.
Romeo lunged back once again for more, raising its sickle as (Y/N) intercepted a heavy strike that dragged him and his blade around in a semi-circle from the strength behind the attack before the swing itself threw the latter off a few feet from the puppet.
The King of Puppets was as relentless as the sea of flames that licked their surroundings to ashes, leaping into the air as Romeo dove down to impale the tip of the sickle right into the Player's skull but only to meet cold hard steel as (Y/N) braced against the attack.
[Skill: Shadow Shift has activated]
Suddenly, (Y/N) vanished into the ground and within a pool of darkness that spurted out of nowhere, greatly dazing the puppet who spun its head around feverishly for its target but only to feel itself getting tackled to the ground from behind.
(Y/N) had just jumped out of the inverted world of shadows just to grapple Romeo onto the floor before he began pummelling his fists into the puppet's face, his [Strength] easily breaking apart the porcelain face that decorated the latter.
Romeo swung its sickle at him again but this time, (Y/N) has had enough from the disorienting heat and the stinging pain that persisted in his back so he decided to finish this quickly by grabbing the arm that held the puppet's weapon before proceeding to rip it out of its socket.
The mechanical limb broke off like a particularly deep weed being pulled out of the ground, allowing (Y/N) to see the strings, wires and a light stream of bluish hue to leak out of the wound as he threw away the twitching limb.
(Y/N) quickly stood up and then stomped hard on Romeo's chest, cracking the metallic torso and leaving a huge dent in the middle of its frame which he then harshly kicked away.
Yet even with the damage (Y/N) had inflicted onto the King of Puppets, the latter wasn't fazed by the brutality of its body and only opted to dash away towards its discarded weapon and then picking it up with its remaining functioning arm.
"Stubborn bastard..." Was all (Y/N) commented on as he prepared for another attack.
It came as quickly as he had expected as Romeo was on an endless rampage against him, the flames that encompassed the puppet's entire body having enflamed the sickle itself, increasing the weapon's lethality even more than before.
Enough for (Y/N) to sweat and strain his breathing as his sword held against the sickle that he had continuously block and deflect from in front of him, both the pain and the close proximity of the fire is draining his oxygen and his focus so he needs to break it off quick.
Despite the fury and strength behind the sickle endlessly slashing against his own weapon, the item itself held no dents, cuts or even the smallest of scratches but (Y/N) didn't care for details at this very moment because his surroundings is becoming more dire.
He needed to turn the tide in his favour quickly otherwise he might as well as die of suffocation and carbon monoxide poisoning from the flames surrounding them that also appeared to be encircling them even more tightly.
Unfortunately, the King of Puppets was relentless as it the fire that burned its body so (Y/N) had to put every focus into readjusting his grip and angle with his case to avoid getting cut though the latter did notice how every strike was simple as a cog turning in a wheel.
Left, right, left, right, left, right with at least one and a half second delay before Romeo swings back again to repeat the entire procedure so like every single games with a powerful boss and a predictable pattern of fighting.
Just hit them when and where they least expect it!
[Skill: Dash has activated]
Before Romeo could land another strike onto (Y/N)'s case, the puppet felt itself hitting air as the Player suddenly leapt backwards in a burst of speed which considerably distanced the two of them so the former quickly charged in pursuit.
[Skill: Dash has activated]
The King of Puppets never expected the human in front of it to so brazenly charge back in return and right in front of its face with a fist clenched and reeled back but the former was already prepared to retaliate back with its sickle slicing towards (Y/N)'s fist to cut it off.
[Skill: Shadow Lock has activated]
Romeo found itself stuck once more to the accursed human whose existence made not a single lick of sense in the city of Krat or the memories of the world that dwelled within its puppet mind.
It made no sense, no sense at all but it was that lack of sensibility which Romeo soon found itself being punched right in the face with a fist covered in darkness that soon exploded.
The King of Puppets, the former mechanical royalty found itself flying through the heated air as one of its eyes dimmed and fluttered on and off as it felt the fragments of its head fall off from the impact of the punch and miniature explosion.
When Romeo felt what remains of its consciousness as "Romeo" and the functioning system of gears and springs and Ergo die out slowly is when it finally realised that death was close.
"{Carlo... I couldn't... meet you now... I suppose... I will be waiting... ahead of... you...}"
A single thought was the last thing that echoed through Romeo as it crashed onto the floor, breaking apart even more than before as the sickle in its hand fell out from the rigid hand that moved no more after hitting the ground.
[You have slain - Romeo the King of Puppets]
[You Leveled Up!]
[You have obtained - Puppet Ripper, Runestone (Random), 50,000 gold]
Even though he had managed to level up once, (Y/N) wasn't idle to bask in victory as he quickly avoided a piece of the ceiling falling down due to the flames and ran out to the exit with [Dash].
(Y/N) left the room before the inferno thoroughly consumed it and by the time he looked back, there was nothing that could be seen through the flames that obscured the doorway.
Soon enough, his bounds turned to jogs and his jogs turned to steps as (Y/N) sighed out loud before sitting on top of the fountain in front of the Estella Opera House's entrance, rubbing his head and back particularly where he was grievously wounded earlier.
Thankfully, the [System] is kind enough to reset everything to brand new so all the pain and fatigue simply went away while his [HP] and [MP] recharged themselves to the max.
Now, he has five new points to use.

"...Strength it is." (Y/N) briefly stated, investing the new points into said stat before sifting through his [Inventory] for the newest addition to his collection.
Now resting between his hand is the Runestone which he had obtained from Romeo, it's pretty much the exact same one from when he'd slain the Cleric Beast in the Bloodborne dungeon which means the skills that could be gained from this stone is completely random.
However, perhaps his [Luck] could change that. Sure, it's not as high as one would want to expect in the lucky category but it's better than having no luck at all, so (Y/N) didn't waste anymore time and broke the Runestone and allowed the familiar flow of energy seep into him.
[Skill: Temporal Break has been learned]
"Temporal... break? If I am to assume from this name then I can... stop or slow down time?" The Player remarked as he brought up the detail on the skill.
===================================
[Skill] - Temporal Break
Allows the Player to enter a state of accelerated perception and movement, which allows them to see and predict the trajectory and movement of their enemies for five seconds.
[Cost] - 250
===================================
"...Even though this is quite expensive skill I have now... it's worthwhile." (Y/N) hummed in satisfaction, this skill would certainly be extremely useful in high-stress situations.
The cost might be more than he'd anticipated but it should be expected after all, he is slowing down time and space while accelerating his own cognitive abilities which can be considered unfair to others fighting against him as well as impossible by this world's standard.
If this is the result of him investing into [Luck] then perhaps he should have done so before investing the five points into [Strength] but then again, there's nothing wrong with swinging a weapon or fist hard enough to end a fight quicker, right?
He dismissed his Lotus Armaments and then let his fingers and palm grasp onto another smooth and cool texture of metal and wood before letting the weight fall into his hand as he scrutinised his newest weapon earned from eliminating Romeo.
===================================
[Item] - Puppet Ripper
[Type] - Weapon
[Class] - A
A chain-scythe handle that once sprayed a bloody fog over Krat. The spring device allows the handler to extend or wind up the chain easily. The city of Krat has a legend about a grinning hedonist murderer. They say his heart was made of clockwork.
===================================
"Puppet Ripper... straight to the point and very... flexible!" (Y/N) noted, taking a regular swing of the scythe before swinging it again.
This time, extending the blade segment of the weapon that is attached by a chain extending from the shaft of the scythe which roughly covered the distance of at least four or five metres directly in front of (Y/N)'s position in an 180 degree angle.
The blade itself automatically retracts back to its place and quite fluidly so there's no concerns for any faulty mechanisms in the weapon for now.
(Y/N) swung the Puppet Ripper around several more times before he's finally satisfied, dismissing the scythe as he got up and walked towards the newly opened portal that will lead back out into the world of RWBY.
Back to reality it is though he'll probably be busy or not, time will tell.
===================================
As (Y/N) stepped out of the gateway leading him away from the desolate city of Krat, he was soon hit with sunlight that almost blinded him after staying in the dark streets that constantly rained so the smell of fresh forest and nature was a really nice change.
It was just as nice as when he left the Bloodborne dungeon, the smell of rot and night did nothing much but to disorient his mind when he first entered it so (Y/N) usually finds himself craving for nature and the environment.
Even now, the Player stood there breathing and seemingly meditating after what felt like hours of dismantling puppets and crazy dolls made by a crazy dollmaker high on drugs.
(Y/N) then raised his arms and stretched before yawning despite his [Fatigue] being practically zero and proceeded to make his way back towards Magnolia Village for a break which he'd opted to just sleep away for the day until tomorrow.
Unfortunately, it looks like his [Luck] decided to intervene once again and adversely cause a few Grimm to approach him from within the trees, four Beowolves and one Alpha Beowolf though it's certainly something he could take on with his stats and skills.
It also presented him an opportunity to use his newest ability which (Y/N) casted just as the first Beowolf began dashing towards him with a snarl as the rest followed shortly.
[Skill: Temporal Break has activated]
The Player immediately felt everything dim in colours and slow in speed as his body felt as light as a feather to which he quickly took in the vision that is shown to him and since there was only a five second limit, better make everything count.
One second passes. The first Grimm that is currently running straight towards him is completely direct in its attack, a simple lunge with its claws and jaws wide for the catch.
Three seconds passes. The remaining Beowolves began flanking him, attempting to corner him should he escape the first one by surrounding his sides completely.
Four and a half second passes. As the four Beowolves attacked, their Alpha simply circle around them, waiting for a chance to present itself if the earlier attacks fail.
Times up.
(Y/N) blinked as the world started to move again, he saw the Beowolf move just as it was predicted earlier and he immediately swung the Puppet Ripper upwards, impaling the tip of the scythe right up into the Beowolf's jaws and skull.
He then slammed the scythe down onto the ground, still with the Grimm attached to its blade as the Player soon began swinging it towards the remaining Beowolves around him with the unique chain mechanism extending the Puppet Ripper.
One was hit and bashed away while the other two managed to leap away in time to avoid their dead brethren's corpse hitting them but (Y/N) was already on the move again as he retracted his scythe and sprinted towards them with the weapon raised.
Combining his [Strength] and [Agility] made the Puppet Ripper an easy shredder against the Grimm as the blade whistled through the air just as (Y/N) swung at the Beowolves in front of him, cleanly bisecting their bodies into two pieces each before making his way at their recovering kin.
The last Beowolf stood back up only to see the Puppet Ripper raised high in the air and then cleaving straight into its jugular, instantly killing it as the Player tore the scythe out and charge right at the Alpha Beowolf who howled in anger and lunged right at him.
However, (Y/N) did the unexpected and slid right onto the ground, his speed and angle letting him slide on his back and below the airborne Alpha Beowolf whose abdomen is exposed.
Without wasting a single second, (Y/N) held the Puppet Ripper up and parallel against his chest before watching the curved blade stab right into the Grimm's body, both of them moving in opposite directions which resulted the Alpha Beowolf's front being split wide open.
The Grimm subsequently crashed onto the ground, tainting the green grass with its fading ashes and dust before finally dissipating for good just as (Y/N) got up, satisfied with his new skill and the Puppet Ripper's capabilities against his enemies.
(Y/N) twirled the scythe before dismissing it as well as changing out of the Hunter's Garbs and back to his original outfit to continue his way back to the village and thankfully, the portal dropped him off at the same place as he had left for the Bloodborne dungeon which meant walking back to the village would take just several minutes.
His trip back was quite peaceful with no other Grimm ambushing him so the only thing he could was to browse the [Store] again for any useful items since he earned another large sum of currency for said store though at the same time, he doesn't really need anything new ye which is obvious especially with the two new additions to his arsenal.
A few more minutes passed by with his relative quick paces so the gateway to Magnolia Village was soon in his sights and never had (Y/N) felt so much relief in seeing it after seeing the same ancient European-styled buildings.
Despite his relief, it soon became short-lived as he walked towards the inn near the cliffside only to see some commotion near the guild along with the odd vibes the entire place gave off.
Most of the villagers he had seen appeared to be tense or even annoyed but their ire doesn't seem to be directed at him but rather at the new individuals standing in front of the guild building whose outfits were a far-cry stark white as compared to the villagers' normal garbs consisting of simple darker colours and overall styles.
(Y/N) doesn't like it nor is he looking forward to what will happen should he find out so for now, he ignored the strange additions to the village and entered the inn for a rest.
He certainly wasn't expecting the old guildmaster to be sitting in there on a chair and seemingly glaring at another person sitting in front of him with open irritation.
"Young man... you certainly picked a horrible time to return." He said, eyes never leaving the man who is dressed in a white business suit.
"Then should I leave?" (Y/N) replied, hand still on the doorknob but only for the guildmaster to shake his head as he gestured for him to come in albeit reluctantly.
"No... in fact, the sooner we get this charade over with, the better."
"...Got it, and who is this suppose to be?" The Player said, glancing at the stranger who seems oddly prideful despite the former's lack of knowledge.
"I am-" The man began only for the guildmaster to cut him off.
"He is the Schnee Dust Company's lapdog... one who likes to stick their noses into our businesses when it doesn't belong."
"On the contrary, the SDC is the main commissioner and backbone for the businesses that occurs in this... backwater village, our jurisdiction is naturally justified."
The SDC "lapdog" said with a sneer which (Y/N) now know why he was proud of just sitting there doing nothing... looks like he is getting into some really complicated troubles especially with the former being high and mighty...
High and mighty for being a simple errand boy.
"And how am I involved in this conversation?" (Y/N) questioned, standing between the two seated men as he looked at the old employer of his.
"Do you remember those Sea Feilongs you've disposed of recently? They were one of the three major bounties commissioned by the SDC and other significant companies in both Mistral and Atlas but the majority of requests originated from Atlas."
(Y/N) only narrowed his eyes, he doesn't like where this is going.
"Being the nosy twats that they are and a natural doubts on you being the sole individual behind the elimination of the Grimm so the Mistral branch of SDC sent him for confirmation."
The guildmaster explained while gesturing his head at the errand boy who grew more affronted at the "disrespect" shown towards him, one that he verbalised quite quickly much to (Y/N)'s irritation especially when he wanted to rest.
"I highly suggest you tone down such insolence, you should be more than grateful the SDC and our subsidiaries have enough patience to invest and fund this place with our products."
"Fund? Magnolia has been functioning long before you and your fellow lapdogs tried to take a bite into our economy... and don't think I am ignorant to why you really came here for."
(Y/N) glanced at the guildmaster who almost growled out the words, narrowing his eyes at the businessman in front of them that was all but welcome in this place before the former silently sighed to himself in his own annoyance.
He's going to be here for a while isn't he?
===================================
Alright... so MC is finally getting in touch with some "big" shots in the world of RWBY but how does this extends to him joining the rest of the cast in the storyline? Stay tuned and patient for the next chapter which I think I have an idea on how to proceed.
