End of Unity

The goddesses of unity. Two twin sisters, powerful, menacing. On the left is a spider-woman with six arms, a blade in each, sabers. She wears a monochromatic robe, alongside her sister, who wears a similar attire.  The spider one glows with an arcane power and her sister oozes with venom.

"What do we do?" the man asks, "I don't know if I can handle this."

"Blast the spider," I reply, "I'll get her sister."

"What about the hoard?" the man asks.

"Goddesses first," I reply.

He attempts to blast then, but his attack phases through our foes, as if on another plane. Damn. He's on the Astral Plane. Whoops. Almost forgot that I gotta wonder, how can I see him then? It must have to do with the fact my world is collapsing. I mean, makes sense, right? The world is unstable.

"I can do this alone," I sigh, "allow me."

"You sure?" he asks.

"Positive," I smile.

She speaks with such a confidence, I can't help but smile. It's kinda nice, having a friend. I may not have my past, but I have her. If I was the only one...

But hey, that's what friends are for, right?

The hoard roars and the masses charge us. I open my stance, baiting them, waiting...

Waiting...

They're getting closer, I can smell the nauseating rotting flesh.

And...

They're almost at us now, and I see my chance. I leap forward, aiming for one's chest and tearing out its rib-cage before crushing it under such pressure that the shards kill the others, impaling them and shattering their chests and skulls, sending blood, organs, and decayed flesh in all directions.

That's 29 bitches!

I leap at the two goddesses before they can reach the other husks and revive them. The spider one blasts me with an arcane bolt, and her sister sprays acid at me, which I narrowly dodge and get close enough to strike, ripping off the spider's skull as I parry her blades and using her head as a projectile to kill the other.

That's 31 mother fuckers!

"You OK?" the man asks.

"I'm good," I smile, "but damn, kinda a nauseating sight isn't it?"

We both look over what is now a sea of rotten flesh and blood, bits of organs are strewn about like bits of candy after Halloween.

"Anyways," I continue, "let's get inside, we'll be safe."

"Fucking finally," the man smiles, relived as we approach and open the front door of the Soul Forge...
