Brendam branchline

Bio: based at Brendam docks to Wellsworth the Brendam branchline provides a great number of goods and passengers to the engines who run it.
In the days of the LMS it also boasted a special express service named "The Brendam Executive" that runs from Brendam to Barrow upon Furness, it calls at Wellsworth, Crovans gate, and Barrow, this service has since been replaced by more regional trains.

In 1957 Suddery TMD opened to take the pressure off Crovans gate TMD.
The branch sees the regular export of China clay as well as a regular import of goods from the mainland.

It was originally ran by the Wellsworth and Suddery railway from 1885-1922, the LMS from 1923-1946 and is now ran by The North Western railway.
The Brendam branchline offers services to Wellsworth, Barrow and Arlesburgh via Brendam.
