Wels didn’t like this. He didn’t like this at all. Why- Just why did he agree to do this social experiment? He had no idea what would happen and all these corridors made him think they all were stuck in a big maze.

He sighed and leaned against a wall to rest. He picked up the notebook he has found earlier and started doodling in it. Not like he had anything better to do. What was the meaning of the experiment anyway? Were they supposed to find some sort of exit to this suspiciously close to a maze, just like in the Maze Runner, or was it something completely else?

He decided that the best thing to do for now was to stick with someone else. At least they could protect each other then. But where could everyone be? He stood in the middle of a corridor that was pink. Just pure hot pink everyone. His eyes got used to it pretty quickly, but it felt weird and he wasn’t sure what was left and what was right. Imagine Grian’s infinity room, but with no chairs and someone painted it hot pink. That was basically the corridor in a nutshell. Wels took a guess and started walking forward, which caused him to crash into a wall. Wrong direction. He decided to walk what he thought was north instead, and after some minutes of walking the corridor finally ended. What was he thinking when he chose to enter it? His brain really didn’t work today.

He chose to either a corridor which walls were painted with the colours of a rainbow. At least he could navigate in this corridor.

He slowly made his way forward while he was lost deep in his thoughts. A sudden voice calling his name made him return to reality and he found himself in front of Xisuma.

“Oh, hello Xisuma,” Wels greeted him.

“Hi Wels. So, how’s it been going for you?” Xisuma asked.

“Nothing out of the ordinary at least,” Wels shrugged. “Wait, are you hurt?”

“What? No, I-,” Xisuma began, but couldn’t finish his sentence until Wels interrupted him.

“Then why is your left arm red on that spot?” Wels said stubbornly, pointing at blood stains on Xisuma’s left arm.

“Fine. Yes, I’m hurt. It’s not too bad though, it was just me being clumsy ik the corridor of boats. I might even have left some blood there,” Xisuma admitted.

“Do you need help?” Wels offered, but Xisuma shook his head.

“No, it’ll heal on it’s own,” Xisuma told him. “But if you wanna stick together, sure.”

“Great!” Wels said, clasping his hands together. “Where should we go?”

“Maybe back to the boat corridor? Someone might’ve found the blood and is worried right now,” Xisuma suggested, Wels agreeing.

“Lead the way,” Wels ordered, and followed Xisuma as they started walking in the opposite way Xisuma had come. They chatted briefly on their way to the boat corridor, but none of them mentioned the experiment nor Xisuma’s wound. They just decided that it wasn’t worth talking about it right now.

After approximately ten minutes they arrived at the corridor of boats. Wels was really impressed about how it was built, all the boats fitting perfectly with each other. Suddenly, Wels heard remote sobs and from the looks of things Xisuma heard it too. They made a silent agreement to find the person that was sobbing and they started running. Xisuma was faster than Wels, and soon he was out of sight. Wels continued running anyway, and when he found the cause of the sobs he was met with a very odd scene.

Xisuma stood paralyzed, staring at a human-shaped form lying on the floor. Pearl kneeled over them, silent tears running down her face and sobs escaping her mouth. Pearl acknowledged Wels’ presence and moved so he could see what she was so sad about. And it was a horrible sight.

Gem was lying on the floor in a puddle of her own blood. She had a big cut in her face which probably killed her.

There was a murderer among them.

I’m kinda sad that I killed Gem tho, she is one of my fav Hermits (I have too many fav Hermits) but it had to be done.

Don’t have much to say, I’ll just make this line for any theories you guys have
