•CHAPTER 8- THE WEDDING•✨

She opened the envelope and a gasp left her mouth when she saw an invitation card for her wedding.

On seeing the invitation card Y/N was again lost in her own thoughts. Mr.Choi saw her being zoned out so he called her name

Mr.Choi: Y/N!

Y/N: Huh!! Yes-yes!

Mr.Choi: What Happened? You didn't like the card?

Y/N: NO Appa, It's beautiful.

Mrs.Choi: We are glad that you liked it! Ok so now you have to help us in making the guest list.

Y/N: OK!

After some time the guest list was prepared and the invitation was sent to Relatives, Friends, and a few businessmen. After Taehyung's approval, it was been revealed that both Y/N and Taehyung were getting married and every single day there was a new article about them. These days people used to gossip about them and some were already shipping them and calling them "The Best Couple". Taehyung was getting pissed off seeing all this but he had no option. He can't stop the media.

Almost all preparations were done in these five days and now It was the day before their marriage.

At Y/N's Place

It was a family dinner and Y/N invited her only friends, Ryujin and Felix to her house

Y/N: Thank you so much guys for coming, I will miss you all a lot 🥺

Ryujin: Me too

Felix: Me three

Lia: Me Four

Y/N chuckled, looked at her parents, and said

Y/N: Appa, Eomma please take care of yourselves when I am not here.

Y/F: You will always be there with us

Y/N: Appa promise me that you will take care of yourself

Y/F: Of course dear!

Y/N: Eomma you too

Y/M: Yes dear I will

Y/N: Lia you too!!

Lia: Yes Unnie.

Lia was almost on an urge to cry. She was happy that her sister was getting married but at the same time bidding her goodbye will not be easy for her.

Y/N: And yeah don't let Eomma and Appa overwork (Lia nodded). Call me if they don't listen to you.

Lia: I will!

Y/N: Appa Eomma I-I will miss you both

Y/N couldn't hold herself back and tears started streaming from her eyes.

Y/M and Y/F Immediately hugged her and Lia too joined them

Y/M patted Y/N's back and said

Y/M: Just take care of yourself child and don't worry about us we'll be fine....

Y/F: Yes dear

Ryujin: Hey this is not fair!

Felix: A family hug without us??

Y/N opened her arms and signaled both of them to join the hug.

Both Ryujin and Felix ran towards them and joined the hug!

Taehyung POV

I invited my friends for dinner at a restaurant as today is my last night as a single. From tomorrow again my life will be hell. Tsk... I was almost zoned out but came back to my senses when Jimin shook me a little

Jimin: Where are you lost?

Jungkook(says in a teasing tone): Lost in thought of Y/N 😝

Jungkook giggled a bit but stopped when I glared at him.

Hoseok: OH guys come on... stop teasing him.

Jin: Yeah can't you both see he is already red because of Y/N's name...

Taehyung: Hyungggggggg!!!!!!!!

Everyone giggled at my reaction

Namjoon: Tae I am so happy for you... finally, you are taking a step to move on from your past.

Yoongi: Joon is right Tae. I hope that you stay happy with your wife.

Wife?? I'll never consider her as my wife... She is nothing for me

Jin: Tae I want something from you.

Taehyung: Yes hyung... please say

Jin: I want a promise from you....we all know that it's not easy for you to move on but promise me that you'll never hurt Y/N.

Seriously Hyung how can I promise you about such a thing...but still, I crossed my fingers and made sure that no one looked at my hand and said

Taehyung: Don't worry hyung... I'll never hurt her!

Jin smiled and said

Jin: That's like my boy.

Hoseok: I hope you won't break your promise to Jin Hyung. Tae relationships are like delicate threads which break easily.... and when you try to mend them then a knot forms in them. Please take good care of yourself and Y/N.

Taehyung: Yes Hyung.

Jimin: BTW Tae what are your plans for your first night?🌚

Jungkook: Hyung you can tell us (wink)

Taehyung: will you both just stop thinking shit with that dirty brain of yours? You both know, me, and Y/N never even talked properly and here you both are thinking about something which I don't believe in!!

Jungkook: Calm down Hyung! We both were just joking... you took it all seriously( sad pout)

Namjoon: OK guys let's end this discussion here.

Yoongi: well it's getting late... I think we all should get going. You all know I want to ( yawn ) sleep.

All of us made a done face but still, Hyung wasn't wrong it was getting late.

We all hugged each other and bid goodbye!

End of Taehyung's POV

Y/N pov

I stood up and looked at myself in the mirror and a satisfied grin appeared on my face. Well, the makeup artist did their work well...

I was busy admiring myself in the mirror just then I heard a knock on the door. Saying "Come in" I saw Appa entering the room.

Y/F: Y/N are you ready?

Y/N: Yes Appa!

Y/M: Wow you are looking gorgeous my child.

I gave Eomma a small smile.

Y/F: Ready to begin a new journey in your life?

Y/N: Hmm... Appa I will miss you.

Y/F: Me too my child.

Lia and Ryujin entered the room and said

Lia: Unnie let's go guests are waiting for you.

Ryujin(tease): Not only guests but someone else is also waiting for her.

Y/N: Come on guys just stop!!

Ryujin: someone is blushing

Y/N just rolled her eyes... She then looked at Y/F and Y/M, hugged both of them, and said

Y/N: I'll miss you both

Y/F & Y/M: We too

Lia too joined the hug and said

Lia: Unnie I'll miss you so so much.

I hugged her back

Ryujin: done with your emotional talks? Shall we leave?

I nodded and started walking towards the aisle!

Y/N walked down the aisle, hand in hand with her father.

Aisle:

The guests diverted their attention towards the bride who was the center of attention for the day. As she was walking her gaze unknowingly landed on Taehyung who was waiting for her arrival.

(ignore the rose)

Their eyes were locked with each other but Taehyung got interrupted when Jimin whispered in his ears.

Jimin: Well she is really pretty... You are really lucky to have her as your wife.

Taehyung just rolled his eyes.

On reaching the aisle Y/N stood in front of Taehyung

Taehyung was maintaining his cold Aura which made Y/N a little nervous but still, she managed not to show it. Soon the Priest arrived and the marriage rituals started.

Priest: Today we are here to witness the marriage of Mr. Kim Taehyung and Miss Choi Y/N Marriage isn't just about sharing the same roof, but also supporting each other through ups and downs, being there in every situation, and cherishing every moment.
Keeping these things in Mind Mr. Kim Taehyung do you take Miss Choi Y/N as your lawfully wedded wife?

Taehyung(in mind): Get ready Tae for another disaster in your life!

Taehyung (stern): I do!

He then came forward and slid the ring in Y/N's finger.

Priest: Miss Choi Y/N Do you take Mr. Kim Taehyung as your lawfully wedded Husband?

Y/N (in mind): I just hope that I won't regret my decision later!

Y/N took a deep breath and said

Y/N: I do

Y/N came forward and slid the ring onto Taehyung's finger

Priest: The Groom may now Kiss the bride.

Y/N gulped and clutched on the fabric of her dress.

Taehyung came forward, No doubt he was also hesitant to Kiss Y/N.

Taehyung came closer to her and she closed her eyes when she felt Taehyung's hot breath fanning on her face. He then gave a small peck on Y/N's forehead and immediately backed off. The guests started clapping and a confetti was launched.

A shiver ran down Y/N's spine when she felt Taehyung's lips on her forehead.

Millions of butterflies were dancing in her stomach and her cheeks turned a little pinkish. Anyone could tell seeing her facial expressions that she was blushing.

Taehyung looked at her face which was a red tomato right now, He came closer to her and whispered in her ears

Taehyung(whisper): No need to blush 'cause you know I'll never love you or treat you as my wife.

Y/N's smile immediately dropped on hearing Taehyung's statement.

She maintained a distance between both of them and smiled at the guest followed by Taehyung.

As the children of the two richest Businesses man of South Korea were getting married there was a lot of media gathered around. The media came forward and started clicking their pics

Cameraman1: Mr.Kim please come a little closer to Mrs.Kim.

Taehyung moved a little closer to Y/N

Cameraman1: Sir a little more closer.

He came closer to her and now only a few inches were left between both of them

Cameraman2: Sir please give a good couple pose.

Taehyung then pulled Y/N by her waist and a gasp left her mouth due to the sudden movement but still she managed to smile. After media clicked some of their pics he let go of Y/N and went to greet some of the guests. Till then his friends approached him and said

Jimin: Looks like you both already fell for each other.

Taehyung: and why do you think so?

Jungkook: It was clear from the way you were holding her!

Taehyung just rolled his eyes

Jin: Come on Tae, Won't you introduce your wife to us?

Taehyung: Yes Hyung!

Y/N was talking to Felix as Ryujin was busy on a call. Taehyung approached Y/N and said

Taehyung(clears throat): Umm Y/N I want to introduce you to my friends!

Y/N slightly nodded her head

Taehyung signaled the members to give their introduction

Namjoon came forward and said

Namjoon: Hello Y/N it's me Kim Namjoon. you can call me Oppa 😊

Y/N: Hello Oppa! Nice to meet you.

Yoongi: Nice to meet you it's me Yoongi. You can call me Oppa

Y/N: Hello Yoongi Oppa!

Hoseok: I'm your hope, you are my hope, I am Jung Hoseok, you can also call me Hobi Oppa!

Y/N: Nice to meet you Hobi Oppa!

Jin: I am worldwide handsome Kim Seokjin you know!

Y/N: Hello worldwide handsome Oppa 😅

Jimin: Hey pretty lady! It's me Jimin... Nice to meet you! You can call me Jimin as I am of your age.

Y/N: Hi Jimin! 😅

Jungkook: Hello Noona, I am Jeon Jungkook the maknae of this group. Nice to meet you

Y/N: Hello Jungkook Nice to meet you... you can call me Y/N no need to call me Noona!!

Jungkook: Anni, You are older than me and also Hyung's wife so I'll call you Noona

Y/N: Ok😊

Y/N: Umm well He is Felix(points towards him) We are friends from Childhood.

Felix: Hello! Nice to meet you guys!

Every one of them waved at Felix

Y/N(in mind): Well Taehyung's friends are really polite.... I wonder if this cold ass would also be like them!

Till then Ryujin came towards Y/N and saw a group of boys standing near her along with Taehyung.

Ryujin(in mind): Might be they are Taehyung's friends.

She saw a familiar figure among them but she couldn't remember who it was.

Finally, after putting some pressure on her brain she remembered his name. She approached him and ask

Ryujin: Hey!... Umm if I am not wrong then are you Park Jimin?

Jimin thought for a while and said

Jimin: Shin Ryujin?

Ryujin: Yeah!

Jimin: Nice to meet you again!

Y/N: Do you guys know each other?

Ryujin: Yeah! He is my High School classmate.

Jimin: We had good company with each other but we lost touch.

Y/N made an 'O' face meanwhile Ryujin and Jimin already exchanged their contact numbers.

Mr.Choi came towards Y/N and said

Mr.Choi: Y/N, Taehyung few guests want to meet you both...

Taehyung and Y/N nodded and went to greet a few guests.

It was now time for Y/N's departure. Giving a last hug to her parents, sister, and her friends she bid goodbye to everyone! She was trying her best to hold back her tears. With a heavy heart, she sat in the car and waved to everyone. The driver started the engine and drove off.
As Y/N was sitting in the car she didn't even look at Taehyung and let her tears fall which she was holding back for so long. Taehyung noticed her red nose and understood that she was crying.

He cleared his throat and Y/N slightly diverted her attention towards him but didn't look at him. He then passed her a handkerchief and said.

Taehyung: Umm take this and wipe your tears... I can understand it's not easy for you to leave your parents but soon you will be used to it!

Y/N took the handkerchief and dried her tears...

The whole drive was silent. Both Y/N and Taehyung were in their own thoughts.

Taehyung(In mind): I hope that she doesn't throw any tantrums

Y/N(in mind): I Hope that he will respect me!
