Days passed and Aemond hadn't seen Alyarra around the castle. Aemond would consider himself rather forgiving, and he was not one to hold a grudge. At least that was what he thought of himself.

So since Aemond Targaryen was so forgiving he had decided to stop giving Alyrra the cold shoulder. He had decided to forgive her for spending time with Aegon.

So since he decided to be forgiving, he walked all the way to the Lady Alyarra's chambers. He had decided to invite her to come watch him train, as he knew she liked more adventurous endeavors. Aemond approached the chambers, and he knocked swiftly at the wood doors. He expected the lady-in-waiting Catherryn to open, or maybe Alyarra herself would open. He adjusted his leather linens as he waited for the doors to open.

The door opened slowly to reveal Catherryn. Armond gave the girl a curtly nod as the maid curtsied. "I hope you find yourself well, Lady Catherryn. I wonder if the Lady Alyarra is available?" Aemond asked in a cold tone. The tone that was almost too characteristic of Aemond.

He almost wanted to chuckle as he could feel the nervousness on Catherryn's face, clearly she feared the prince for reasons he did not know. That was usual with ladies or maids, they always seemed nervous around him. That was the main reason he wore his patch, he didn't want to frighten anyone.

"The Lady Alyarra does not find herself in her chambers, my prince. I apologize." Catherryn muttered as Aemond raised a brow, eyeing Catherryn intensely.

"And where is she?" Aemond asked, his tone colder than before. His tone was almost cruel. Catherryn looked mortified as she looked at the prince.

"Um... I do not happen to know." Catherryn answered as Aemond chuckled dryly.

Catherryn was scared of Aemond, although she had heard he was much kinder than Aegon. But the way he stood a whole feet taller than her, staring at her with his one piercing eye made her quite uneasy. She felt like someone he could see into her thoughts.

"Tsk... Lady Catherryn I do not enjoy lies... How come the Lady Alyarra's lady-in-waiting does not know the whereabouts of her superior?" Aemond asked. It was quite obviously a rhetorical question.

Catherryn looked down at her feet and then up at the Prince's face. She had never been a good liar.

"The Prince Aegon came to collect her this morning... They were going hawking..." Catherryn trailed off. She felt guilty telling him this. She knew Aemond was the one courting her yet his brother was the one she spent time with. Although Catherryn knew well that Alyarra was fond of Aemond.

"The Prince Aegon?" Aemond asked with disgust clear in his tone, but his face as stoic as could be. Aemond looked Catherryn over with his cruel eye and turned on his heel.

He was done with Alyarra.

Over it.

How dare she?

What did Aegon have that he didn't?

Why was she so interested in his brother?

Was the kiss they shared that night all for naught?

Was she truly what Criston Cole deemed her to be? A cruel vixen out to gain political advantage by seducing the two Targaryen Princes?

Aemond was FURIOUS. He walked all the way down to the gardens, basically stalking through the paths. After enough hunting, finally he found the pair. Aemond stayed back, not wanting them to see him.

They were not alone, two of Aegon's guards accompanied them. Aemond watched as Alyarra held her hawk excitedly as Aegon instructed her on what to do. Aemond could barely hear the pair, but he could see that Aegon was telling tasteless jokes.

Aemond knew exactly what Aegon was trying to do to Alyarra, he knew his brother like the back of his hand. He hated the way Aegon was staring at Alyarra, he hated that Aegon was so close to her.

Aegon would first act like a silly prince, he would act nice. He would gain her trust and when she would become most vulnerable, he would try to get his way with the lady. Aemond had seen this happen to countless ladies of the court. Most of the ladies would be sent back to their respective Houses. Aemond knew of too many good ladies that were defiled by his brother, ruined by his brother.

He would hate to see Alyarra Stark be one of them.

Aemond had enough of staring in anger at Aegon and Alyarra, so he finally left to his chambers.

Aemond knew very well he was jealous of how close Aegon and Alyarra had became. It's not that he thought he owned Alyarra, not at all. But she had come to King's Landing to be courted by him, not Aegon. And he liked Alyarra, he did.

She was everything that Aemond wasn't, and he wanted her for himself.

Aemond Targaryen liked control, he liked being in command. And somehow, he wasn't in control of Alyarra.

He didn't like that at all.

That same night, Aemond had decided to speak to Aegon. He walked all the way down to his and Helaena's apartments, knocking swiftly at the door. As it opened, a maid stared back at the Prince expectantly. Aemond eyed the girl coldly as she stared back at him, with a small kind smile.

"I have come to speak with the Prince Aegon..." Aemond told the maid with a cold stare. The lady nodded her head, standing to the side to reveal Aegon laying down on a seat on the living room.

Clearly he was drunk as a boar. As always. Aemond's gaze landed on the maid and then at his brother. A judgeful expression flooded Aemond's face.

"You were alone with the Prince?" Aemond asked the maid with a raised brow. The girl's eyes widened in horror. She knew exactly why Aemond was asking. She knew exactly what he was insinuating.

"I-I-My prince, he had asked me to fetch him more wine. I-I have only been here for a mere second." The young girl stuttered, clearly horrified of what Aemond was implying.

"Calm child. I only say it out of worry for your honor. Leave us. And be more aware next time." Aemond ordered the girl. He was truthful, he was worried for the maid's honor.

He wasn't quite implying that she would seduce him, not at all. Aemond was implying that Aegon would probably seize the opportunity to gain some pleasure from the girl, as Aegon always did with most maids when he found them alone.

Aemond couldn't save every maid that came in contact with his brother, but if he could save at least just one... It would be a consolation for all the hell he knew Aegon put them through.

And it was that same hell that he wanted to save Alyarra from.

"Wake up, you fool." Aemond smacked his brother's head roughly, making Aegon jump up from his sleeping state. Clearly unaware of what was happening.

"Ow... you cunt. Why would you do that? I was sleeping." Aegon grunted as he sat up in his chair, glaring up at his younger brother.

"Stay away from Lady Alyarra." Aemond ordered. Aegon seemed confused for a moment, but then his mouth turned into a cocky smirk that Aemond wanted to stab off his face.

"Why should I?" Aegon asked cockily as Aemond rolled his eyes at his asshole brother. I bet my sword would love to have my brother's head, Aemond thought.

"Because she is not yours to court. You want to go riding? Take Helaena. You want to go hawking? Take Helaena. You wish to tell jokes? Tell Helaena." Aemond ordered as Aegon laughed straight to Aemond's face. He was so very clearly testing Aemond's patience.

"I don't take orders from my little brother. I can do what I please with my time. And who I please." Aegon contested as Aemond pressed his lips together. His patience grew think with each passing second.

"It is inappropriate, you have a wife. You have a family. You should pour your attentions into them, not into my lady." Aemond spat as Aegon chuckled whilst looking up at his brother.

"Your lady? That is a funny joke indeed. These days she seems more mine than yours... Maybe I'll take her as a second wife." Aegon taunted as Aemond licked his lips and stayed quiet. The patience he had was null now. Gone.

"Don't worry, little brother. I'll let you know how good her cunt feels around my cock as soon as I defile her." Aegon had sealed his coffin shut with that sentence.

With one swift motion, Aemond was holding his older brother in a chokehold. Aegon struggled as Aemond held him firm in his stance.

Although Aegon was older, Aemond had grown taller and much stronger than his brother. He was always able to dominate him in any match.

"Let me go, you insufferable bitch." Aegon spat through gritted teeth. Aemond smirked as his brother struggled.

"You talk like that again about Lady Alyarra and I will make sure the cock you hold in your pants is a wooden one. I will mutilate you myself, you little imbecile." Aemond threatened his older brother, gripping his around his neck tighter.

"Have I made myself sufficiently clear?" Aemond asked with a chuckle as Aegon squirmed, trying to free himself.

"Yes. Let me go you hedgeborn." Aegon ordered as Aemond laughed and let his brother go.

"Maybe if you didn't skip all of our duel training you wouldn't find yourself so weak." Aemond said as Aegon glared at him, trying to get his breathing back to normal.

"I am serious Aegon. Stay away from Alyarra. The next time I swear to you I won't be so forgiving." Aemond threatened and before his brother could even respond he was out the door.

Aemond just hoped he had gotten through to his brother.
