Chapter Twenty One

As she ran, The Snow Girl kept bumping into things. People, tents, and tables, she wasn't watching. Her head was turned to look behind her to see if anyone was chasing her.

She ran so far she didn't see she has reached the forrest until a branch wapt her her the back of the head.

"Ow!" The leaves were stuck in her hair, and the branch wouldn't let go. In the frustration and confusion, she fell back, landing with a thud.

-------------

"What happened to this tent?!" General Sky asked. He had herd a thud of someone falling and went to investigate, finding his Major sitting on his bed reading a book as if nothing happened.

He looked up from his book.

"Oh, someone fell through the tent. They were pretty embarrassed. Got outta here in a hurry." He put his nose back into his reading.

Sky tilted his head.

"What did they look like?"

"Well, they were white. That's all I can remember." He continued reading.

"Oh bother." The General ran from the tent and followed the foot prints that lead through out all of the base. After passing tipped tables and fallen tents, he stopped when he saw the prints lead into the woods.

"Oh great." He ran in.

--------------

The Snow Girl herd groaning, coming from all different directions.

"Oh no." She whispered. She began to quickly untangle the leaves and sticks in her hair and looked for the direction she came in.

But everywhere was the same.

She began to panic. She had no weapons! What was she to do?!

Then she herd a sound.

The sound of a dying skeleton.

--------------

General Sky slashed at a skeleton. He knew he was going to have to go in for The Snow Girl if she was going to make it out alive.

He finished that one off. Now to the zombie that was behind him. He werred around at stabbed it in the chest. Another down.

He followed the white foot prints.

Then he saw her.

She was pinned to a tree, a zombie beginning to strangle her. She was pushed higher, and higher off her feet.

"SNOW GIRL!" He screamed. She couldn't turn her head to face him.

He shot the zombie with a bow the skeleton had dropped, causing The Snow Girl to fall to the ground. He sprinted. Without saying a word he grabbed her arm and up and ran to the direction of the base camp. But they were surrounded.

He pushed her behind him, and began slashing at a spider. But a zombie grabbed him.

"Take this!" He threw the bow to her as he began to punch the zombie. When he was free he sliced its head off. He looked behind him.

She was gone.
