Chapter Five
"Who was he?" Th squid girl asked the king.
"WHY THE SQUID DID YOU GO THERE??" He screamed. She wasn't to know of that world until she 18 years old. He was scared that she would learn of the battles before she matured.
"It was an accident." She said.
"Fine. But never go back." He said.
"But who was that man?" She asked. He never answered her.

Though he said not to, the squid girl did go back through the portal again. This time, she swam to the shore, where the strange man and a man with a black and green headset stood. She kept herself under water and did her best to ease drop on their conversation.
"What are we going to do?!" His friend yelled.
"I don't know! How are the squids getting away at the end of every battle!?" The man screamed.
"Battle?!" The squid girl screamed underwater.
"What was that?" The headset man asked.
The squid girl lost her breath because of saying that one word, and water filled her mouth and lungs. She bolted to the surface and gasped for air.
"WHAT IS THAT!?" The man screamed. He dove into the water with his sword in hand.
The squid girl swam for her life. When she seemed far enough away, she stopped, and treaded water, and faced the two struggling to catch up to her. She then dove to the bottom of the lake, and waited at the floor.
"What was that?" The headset man asked once more. The treaded at the spot the girl had treaded at moments before.
"With those skills in swimming, I'd say it was the evil squids in human form."
"EVIL SQUIDS?" Her mouth filled again, and bubbles went up. She rocketed for air, bursting out of the water up to her waist. Her hair flung back as water splashed. It was as if she was a mermaid.
Then she felt a hand on her neck.
