Chapter 14:

Goldensky's pov.

"Come with us." Two cats said as they shoved him out of the scrapy den he had built in the junkyard.

"Where are we going?"
He recognised White Blood as one of the cats. A black she-cat was the second.

"Star Blood, our healer, has requested an audience with you."
Huh. I wonder how different healers are from medicine cats. Probably the same thing.

They walked through the center square of the junkyard, a place where many cats came to sell and talk. A large stone sat in the middle of the junkyard. A little ways north from the center square.
What amazed Goldensky was that the rock was actually hollow. Parts of it.

They climbed up a tunnel, into a large room. There was moss on the ground as nests. Cracks in the walls were stuffed with herbs. The herb smell was overwhelming.

"Who's Star Bl-"
"Shhhh." The black she-cat said, silencing him.
A black she-cat with white stripes all over her body and ears walked into the room. Half of her face on the right side had a burn scar. The eye was sealed shut. Her left eye was as clear as clear could get. Goldensky recognized it as blindness.
She tilted her head. "Is this Goldensky?"

"Yes." White Blood said.

"Ok. You may leave us." She smiled at him and it reminded him of how Rainwhisper would smile at him. Then she would laugh and he would tease her when her fur fluffed up. She was always there for him and he was always there for her. Except for now. Now she was alone. The clan didn't respect her. Except for Dawnstep. They would both talk about how Crowfrost would probably exile her for being half loner when he became leader.

"Goldensky?" Star Blood was here now. Snapping him back to the reality of the situation.

"Are you sending me back?" He suddenly said, looking at her hopefully.
"I'd love to, but we need to ask some questions first." She explained.

Goldensky let his eyes drift to the floor and his ears droop.

"Do you know what the Snow Cat is?" She asked.

"The last soul?" He whispered. His clan told stories about the last soul being the most powerful.

"Yes. What do you know?"
"The soul is of a bright white cat with blue eyes."

"Hmm." Star Blood raised an eyebrow at him, clearing thinking. "Is this cat in your clan?"
Rainwhisper? No. I wouldn't allow anything to happen to her. But maybe...

"What would I get if I told you?"
"Ah, so it is in your clan!" Star Blood grinned at him.
"No! No, she's not!"

Star Blood called White Blood back and the black she-cat, Song Blood, back in.

"Please don't go fight them!"

But they escorted him back to his den before he could say another word. White Blood left as soon as he could.

"Can I please go back to my clan? You have everything you want from me."

"Nope. Sorry." Song Blood said, rolling her eyes.

That was it. Goldensky lunged forward at Song Blood.

She screeched as his claws dug into her back as she tried to run away.

"Don't hurt them!" He yowled. "I won't let you!"
Suddenly a gray blue she-cat that was twice the size of him turned a corner and started running over to Song Blood.

"Get off of her!" The she-cat said, throwing herself at him and knocking him off of Song Blood.
Goldensky looked up at the cat.

No way.

"Swallowtail?" Swallowtail went to gatherings a lot. She was a respected member of MountainClan. Why would she leave?

Swallowtail tried to look away and quickly got off of him.

"I'm Sky Blood now."
Goldensky just glared at her.

Star Blood's pov

Star Blood padded with her new information over to Scar Blood's den.

"Scar Blood?" She called when she arrived.

"Yes?" Said a deep voice from inside.
"I got information on the Snow Cat."
Scar Blood padded out. His wounds from the battle were healing well, but not fast.

"Well? What is it?" The black tabby asked.

"The Snow cat is probably in ForestClan. Or at least the body to her soul is."

Scar Blood seemed to be thinking for a moment.
Then he smirked.

"Then that's our next battle."
