Hello and welcome to my first story about a movie. I hope you guys enjoy and a quick heads up. There will be characters from the mobile game because I'm a whore for games. Also this won't be a Hermione x reader story because you can find several good ones out there already. Instead I'm doing someone from the mobile game

If you played it then just know she will be out of character and her backstory will change dramatically. I did this so it could fit the plot better so I hope you understand. Anyway that's it, so sit back and enjoy

Standing in train station 9¾ were two individuals. A lady with luscious blonde hair and beautiful hazel eyes is holding her son tightly. Although the kid didn't seem to mind because he was holding his mother tightly as well. Unlike his mother he had dark black hair but he did have her hazel eyes. They eventually let go of each other and smile fondly to each other

These people were Natasha Goodwill and her son (Y/N) Goodwill. "Oh I'm so proud of you" she says and caresses his face. "You know I used to go to Hogwash too you know?"

"Yeah I know mum you've told me only a million times" he says as he playfully slaps her hand away

"It's the place where your dreams can become reality" she says with a smile

"Here we go again" he says while face palming

"I remembered when I first got the note as well. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep, my parents actually used a spell to put me to sleep" she says and remembers her fond memories

"Stupefy?" He asks

"No, they didn't hate me that much" she says "Oh I'm holding you up. Hurry up, don't wanna miss your train now do we?" She asked "You have everything"

"Yep" he says

"Wand, Owl, scarf, wizard hat" she ask

"Yes, yes, yes, and no. I'm not wearing the hat!" He says

"But the hat is so cool, back in my day the hat was the best thing to ever happen to a wizard" she says confidently

"The times have changed" he says making her a little irritated. "Would you look at that it's time to go, bye I love you" he says as he runs into the train with his luggage

As the train is leaving he waves at his mum from out the window till she's out of view. After a while later he goes to look around for a place to sit down and place his luggage down. He eventually found a compartment with only one girl in it. He opened it slightly and peaked his head in

"Hey can I sit here" he asks

"Sure" she says not paying any attention to him

"Thanks" he replies

He gets inside and puts away his luggage away. Once he sits down he gets a good look at the girl. She had short shoulder length brown hair with a patch of orange, although it was unkempt.

"So, what's your name" he asks trying to break the awkward silence "I'm (Y/N)" he says and holds his hand out

She looks at him from head to toe then sighs and shakes his hand. "Merula Snyde" she says nonchalantly. After that she just looked out the windows for the rest of the trip to Hogwarts

As soon as they spot the castle in the distance they start to dress into their robes. (Y/N) politely got out of the compartment so she could change and he change outside. They arrived at the station and follow a rather tall and large man to some boats. From there they go to the massive castle that they will be staying at. It was magical just looking at it, the tall castle that stuck out like a sore thumb, something that'll be impossible to forget. Once they arrived they are met with an old woman, Professor McGonagall.

She informs them on how they will live while they stay at Hogwarts only to be interrupted by a boy grabbing his frog. He apologizes but she pays no mind to it and goes to get things ready for their sorting ceremony.

"Is it true then" a blonde boy from the crowd says. "Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts." He announces causing the crowd of students to talk among themselves

"Who is Harry Potter?" (Y/N) asked Merula. She looked at him surprised by the he didn't know who Harry Potter was

"Have you been living under a rock?! Everyone's heard the story of the boy who lived" she explains with spite "Although I don't see the big fuss, they treat him like a legendary wizard, I'm gonna be the best witch in Hogwarts. Soon people will forget he even entered Hogwarts" she says with mean mug

Professor McGonagall comes back and breaks up the situation with Harry and the blonde boy. "We're ready for you now. Follow me" she leads them to the cafeteria where everyone is waiting for them

The cafeteria was also something hard to forget, mainly because of the floating candles and the ceiling made to look like the sky. In the front of the cafeteria was a hat sitting on a bench.

"You know I expected sometimes more than just a hat" he says

"What were you expecting, something more magical" she replies

"Honestly, yeah" he says

The headmaster, Professor Dumbledore makes a few announcements and then they get right into sorting

"Hermione Granger" Professor McGonagall calls. A girl with brown long hair sits on the bench and she puts the hat on her

"Right, then. Right" the hat says

"The hat can talk" (Y/N) says shocked

"You wanted something magical didn't you?" Merula replied with snark

"Gryffindor" the hat yells out and a table starts clapping

"Draco Malfoy" McGonagall calls once again. The blond boy from before walks up to the hat and before the hat could be placed on him the sorting hat puts him in Slytherin

"Merula Snyde" she calls out

She goes and sits on the bench and sorting hat gets placed on her. "Snyde... Slytherin" the crowd cheers and she goes to the Slytherin table

As she does (Y/N) notices someone watching her. A professor wearing all black watches her as she goes to the table and doesn't break his gaze till she is seated

"(Y/N) Goodwill" she calls out

He goes up to the bench and sits down as the sorting hat gets placed on him. "Oh I know you, you're HIS son" the hat says making him grow curious "Slytherin!" The crowd cheers and he goes to sit at the Slytherin table but not before looking at the hat one more time

"Looks like you're not getting rid of me yet, Merula" he sat making her snarl

They watch as the rest of the students get sorted in their housing. All the while, (Y/N) looks at the hat and doesn't let up. That hat knew something about his father, something his mother didn't want to tell him about, he need answers. After the ceremony they feast on the food that appears. As everyone eats (Y/N) looked over at the professor in black and saw him talking with the professor next to him

"Do you know him?" He asked Merula as he points at the professor

"No, why do you ask?" She asks

"He was looking at you since the car started, I figured you knew him" he commented

"I've never seen that man before in my life" she replies

"That's Professor Snape" an older kid adds "He teaches potions but he would rather teach the dark arts. Also don't get on his bad side, he's already bad enough so you don't want him to get worse" he adds

"Thanks, I'm (Y/N) by the way" he says and reaches his hand out

"Gregory McCarthy, but just call me Greg, I'm a third year" he replies as he shakes his hand "And you're Merula right?" He asks her and she replies with a simple nod

Once the feast is over they get guided to their respective houses. As they do (Y/N) looks at everyone in wonder, he's never seen anything so amazing since he lives in an area with a lot of muggles. They soon arrive at the Slytherin common room, it was dark and green, although it was cozy with the fire wood. They get shown their dormitory, separated by gender, and they are left to sleep

"Guess this is it for today hopefully we have some classes together, wouldn't that be nice, Merula" he says as he looks at her

"Maybe" she replies blankly. "See you tomorrow" she says and gone to her dormitory

(Y/N) does the same and gets ready for bed as well as the other Slytherin. He then looks out the window to see them moon, he remembered when him and his mother would stay up and look at the full moon. It's been one day and he already felt homesick but he didn't let that bother his slumber

What do you think so far, do you like it. Also if you haven't guess it's Merula from the mobo game. Why you may ask, that's simple. There little to no stories for her and I wanted to do her right and make one for her. She deserves it. I'll provide add some fan art of her because there aren't that many to begin with anyway so it won't be a problem to find
