(Thundering explosions and a person breathing heavily can be heard. Two people run through an apocalyptic wasteland. One person clutches their abdomen while the other supports their weight. The person turns around to see the young woman with a pink mask, named Janice Goodman.)

Janice: I got you, dude. Stay with me.

(The scene cuts to the other person, who's revealed to be older future Junior.)

Future Junior: You're a life saver, Janice Goodman.

Janice: I learned from the best. Come on, we're almost there.

[Title Introduction: FLORIDA ]

(The two take a rest)

Janice: What now, Junior?

Junior: I...I don't know. First we had everybody, and now...

(He grieves as he looks at his sword. A blue and white checkered fabric, a yellow fabric and a dark blue fabric with red, blue and yellow diamonds.)

(Janice and Future Junior cower as monsters lunge at them, only to be saved by green energy that transforms into energetic chains.)

Man: Bad doggies

Future Junior: Impeccable timing, little brother. Very dramatic.

(Future Joseph appears hovering in front of Janice and Junior and dispatches several monsters with his energetic chains. Janice sets Future Junior down on the ground. Future Joseph approaches, concerned.)

Janice: Help him, Joseph. He's hurt bad.

(Future Junior's side bleeds as he watches Titans relentlessly approach the battlefield, vaporizing human soldiers with lasers. Future Joseph and Janice look concerned as Future Junior closes his eyes in defeat, believing that all is lost.)

Future Junior: That's it. The resistance failed. EFFY won. But-but isn't over. We've still got a hero's greatest weapon: hope. That and a badass mystic warrior. Joseph, we need a time gateway.

Future Joseph: It'll take everything I have.

Future Junior: I know. But this is our last chance. It's our only chance.

Future Joseph: Hm.

(Future Joseph nods and hovers away somewhere nearby.)

Janice: Wait, what's going on? Where is he going?

Future Junior: Janice, listen.

(Future Joseph stands and spins in a circle, creating a ring of orange energy around himself with his extended leg. He generates green mystic energy in his hands and thrusts his arms out in front of himself.)

Future Junior: EFFY first came to our planet through a mystic doorway. The Key that opened the doorway looked like this.

(He draws a picture on the back of a family portrait)

Janice: Why are you telling me this?

Future Junior: Because Joseph's about to send you back in time to the day that the Key was stolen.

Janice: Wait, he's gonna what?

(A time gateway begins to form, but Future Joseph's hands are increasingly afflicted by glowing golden cracks.)

Future Junior: The people who stole the Key opened the doorway for EFFY. You have to find it before that happens. Find the Key. Stop EFFY.

Janice: But, Junior—

Future Junior: Say it!

Janice: "Find the Key. Stop EFFY." 

(Junior pats her shoulder. Janice hugs him tight)

Janice: I don't want to lose you, Junior.

Future Junior: Janice, It's not about me—

(A red light shines on Janice on Future Junior as a Titan stands over them.)

Janice: They found us!

(Junior and Janice take out their weapons, prepare to fight. They see a giant Titan standing and glaring at them.)

Future Junior: Joseph!

(Future Joseph exerts further and the glowing golden cracks in his skin spread. Closing his eyes and accepting his fate, Future Joseph continues to open the portal and screams in effort.)

Janice: Joseph, no! You're gonna—

(Future Joseph winks at Janice.)

Future Joseph: I'm outta here, dudes.

(The time gateway matures completely as Future Joseph disintegrates. Future Junior and Janice look on as Future Joseph fades away, heartbroken. Future Junior closes his eyes in great grief and sadness, but tearfully smiles, believing that there's still hope. Another Titan aims its eye at them.)

Future Junior: Janice... when you're done saving the world, do me a favor. Grab a slice!

(Future Junior tosses Janice into the time gateway behind himself. Future Junior then runs onto the battlefield, but is vaporized by a Titan's laser. In horror of losing two friends, Janice screams in anguish as she's sucked into the portal. Janice looks up and notices Florida.)

Janice: Where...? I made it? All right, Janice. Here we go. Find the Key, stop EFFY.

(Janice runs into the city.)
