EOH part 6

Santana did not leave (y/n) alone as they rested after being possessed by that evil force. They were both wiped of their energy. They were leaning against each other, their hands were locked together. The pillar woman was basically asleep as Santana was wide awake, yet had his eyes closed. Kars could not shake Ivory off of him as she hugged his arm in an iron grip. Esidisi poked fun at his old friend after seeing the familiar woman clinging to Kars' arm. The pillar men did not leave after they were defeated. Especially after seeing the power that the youngest of them had. Kars was going to talk to his daughter, no matter how much the hamon users tried to get him to leave. He stood next to his resting daughter as Ivory kept hugging his arm, the woman was chiming how much she loved him.
On the other side of the island, the hamon users and their guests were carefully watching them. The realization that the adult pillar woman was (y/n) was a shock, but it explained why she knew everyone.  She had already met them. Her face had Kars' striking beauty, but the softness of her mother. Her horns were shiny, like a polished mirror.

Finally, (y/n)'s ruby eyes opened and she got up after regaining all of her lost strength. Jotaro broke away from the others to see her, "How are you feeling?" "Better. But, my mind is a bit of a haze.," the pillar woman replied. "Can you remember anything that may help us?," the Japanese teen asked. The young woman thought, "Not really. All I know is that he sought me out to grant my wish." "The wish that brought Santana and I back from the dead.," Ivory said as she walked up with Kars, "To be able to cause all of this to happen, this man must be incredibly powerful." "He is.," Santana said, "He also has several younger forms of (y/n) being held captive in the place he is hiding in." This brought attention to the vermillion haired man as he continued to speak, "They are all safe. They are asleep, in hibernation. He seems to not want any harm to come to them." "At least she's safe.," Ivory sighed.
"Oi, (y/n). You're a stand user.," Jotaro said. (Y/n) gave a nod, "My heart was pierced by the golden arrow. I was given a stand in that manner." She looked to Kars, "The summoned spirit you saw, that is my stand." Wamuu and Esidisi stood nearby, keeping watch in case of a surprise attack on their master or the young pillar. "Do you feel completely healed, or do you need to rest more?," Jotaro asked. "I'll go back to morioh and rest more. Don't wait for me.," the young pillar woman replied and looked to her father, "You can come, too. The one who did this made it so that we won't be hurt by the sun."

Kars was a little shocked by this news. Santana helped (y/n) keep her balance, "She's right, I have been walking in the sunlight as well." "Fine, we'll go to this 'Morioh' as well. A temporary truce will be in place.," Kars spoke and turned to the others, "We're going." They followed the pillar woman to the light rift, where she explained what it was and what it did. As well as that there are other people around and that they should be a little bit careful. Kars and the others agreed to these terms and followed the plum haired young woman into the rift. Jotaro sighed and shook his head, "Great. Now we have them to deal with."

The weather was warm in Morioh, Kars and the others emerged from the rift into the shopping district. The pillar men shielded their nocturnal eyes from the bright sun. Ivory let go of Kars's arm and stretched, "So warm!" (Y/n) waited for her father and uncles to get used to the light, "Let me show you to a less human inhabited area. Near the cliffs." The young woman led them to the cliffs where the cottages were. Kars was astounded by the beauty of the world revealed in the daylight. Warm winds passed them as they stood at the cliifs. The ocean below lapped at the rocks and cliff face. "This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.," Kars said, "The warmth of my old foe gives life to so much of this world. Unlike the cold and dark world I was born in over a hundred thousand years ago." "We did not even have to become ultimate beings to see this.," Esidisi commented. Honest and happy smiles were on all of their faces. It is what they all had wanted for so long.
(Y/n)'s hand found her father's, "This is what I always wanted. All of us in the sunlight." "Your wish has been granted. But what was the cost?," Kars asked. "I don't know.," the young pillar woman replied, "I don't know what he wanted from me." "We may find out later.," Santana spoke, "Until then, we be vigilant." "Agreed, Santana.," Wamuu spoke, "But I must say, you have improved incredibly." "I was allowed to train against strong stand users and learn more.," the vermillion haired pillar answered.

Ivory held onto Kars's arm, she had a smile on her face, "I'm happy. This is the second best thing that has happened to me." "What's the first, mom?," (y/n) asked her mother and got a hand on her cheek. "You are.," Ivory told her daughter with a wide and kind smile, "You are the best thing that I have ever had. I am only sorry that I was not able to be there when you were growing up." "That's a lie. You were always there.," the pillar girl replied, "You followed us as a spirit. I only learned of this after I received a stand. You don't remember because you were revived from the time you died." The others listened to the information that the youngest relayed. They had answers about her life as she was questioned. She told them everything she could, even about their fates. "You never said I died, you only said I was Banished.," Kars spoke to his daughter.
The ringing of clashing metal was heard as the young woman turned to her father, "Your fate could be considered worse than death." The young woman stepped back to turn around and return to the town. Santana followed her first, soon by her other family after they had enjoyed the view. She had walked almost all the way back to the town when she stopped. She felt watched and turned to view the one observing her. A man in a strange outfit was watching her before he walked behind a corner.

(Y/n) ran to catch up with him, only to find that he was gone. No signs of light rift jumps. The pillar woman knelt and touched the footprints that suddenly stopped. "(Y/n). What is wrong?," Santana asked as he followed the young woman. He found her kneeling on the ground, examining the area. "Is there an enemy?," Santana inquired and made a defensive stance. "No. Just an observer, as we once were.," the plum haired girl replied and stood up, "I don't see any signs of light rift jumping." She brushed dust off of her and shook dirt that clung to her hair. She sensed her father and mother approaching. The pillar woman joined her ally before returning to the town of Morioh. "We will refrain from sharing this with the others. Just until we figure out who he is and what his danger to us.," she told her vermillion haired companion. "As you wish.," Santana replied as he turned when their names were called. Ivory and Kars had caught up with them.
The human woman was waving at the two with enthusiasm. She was pulling Kars along with her. "Ivory is even more energetic than she used to be.," Santana commented. The youngest pillar smiled, "I wouldn't know. I've never met her when she was alive." Ivory and Kars reached their daughter and the Guard dog, Esidisi and Wamuu trailed behind. All of them were taking in the beautiful and strange sights that greeted them. They walked back to the town together. (Y/n) sensed the light rift be used. "Jotaro is back!," She announced in a cheerful and excited voice, "I wonder who he found this time! I'm going to go see."

The young pillar woman went to the light rift to greet the young man she knew as her nephew. With him, she saw a young woman that she recognized. Launching towards the young woman, she opened her arms wide, "Jolyne!" The plum haired pillar girl hugged the slightly shorter human woman. "Jolyne! It is so great to see you again!," the pillar cheered as she squeezed the human. Jotaro sighed before scolding the red eyed young woman, "(y/n), Let her go. Where is your family?" "Oh, they are right behind me.," (y/n) replied as she let the human go. Jolyne looked at the taller woman up and down, "Wait, (y/n)? You're really (y/n)?" "Yes. It has been six thousand years since I seen you last.," the pillar woman replied, "It has been... so lonely." The plum haired pillar gave a grin to the two Joestar descendants before taking a step back.
The pillar woman looked behind her as Santana and the others caught up. "Have they behaved?," Jotaro asked. "Yes, we were at the cliffs and talking a bit.," (y/n) replied. Jolyne recognized the men, "Wait, they are alive? I thought they were ghosts!" "This was before we were killed.," Santana spoke as he walked forward, "May I ask your name? I can smell that you are Jojo's descendant." "Jolyne.," the young human woman replied, "It's a a bit surprising to see you alive, Santana." "(Y/n) has told us about our fates, that we become her ghost followers.," The Vermillion haired man replied, "You must have met my ghost self." "You're not as intense when you became a ghost.," Jolyne replied.

Jotaro sighed, "It seems like our enemy has gained followers in the future as well." "Not just through time, but also Dimensions. Remember Diego, the dinosaur guy?," (y/n) asked, "There are other Dimensional players in this game." "You remember that much of your servant time?," Jotaro asked. "I do, strangely enough. I gathered the enemies you are to face and I apologize for that.," the plum haired pillar woman spoke, "I will not lie and say that I was under mind control, for I was not. Not until I had to fight, that is." The dark haired Japanese teen nodded, "I trust you." He and (y/n) watched Jolyne talk to Santana before Ivory struck up a conversation with the Japanese-American young woman. Jotaro placed the turtle he was carrying down so whoever wanted to exit the turtle could and stretch their legs.
Friends and allies emerged from the turtle's key stand. The humans waked around to explore and rest after their battles. Narancia and Mista tried to interact with the living pillars, thinking they were the friendly ghosts they knew. Only to find that these were not the friends they knew and the two quickly fled. The plum haired woman chuckled at the two's mistake. She was happy. She was no longer lonely. A smile had grown on her lips.

Immortality was a lonely curse to be born with. Why anyone wanted it was anyone's guess. It would have been better to be born with a purpose filled short lifespan than a purposeless and painful long existence filled with loss. To see everyone that you love die and you cannot do anything to save them. You stay the same as everything changes around you. Yet it was sought after still. There was no reason for anyone to want to have such longevity in (y/n)'s mind. Boredom and loneliness reigned.

'And yet you reached out for immortality, Dio. Are you not satisfied with that?'
