Harry glanced quickly at Draco's stormy face, reading his tense shoulders and clenched jaw.

They were walking to a park away from where muggles would normally go. The crickets were making more noise than the stuffy silence suffocating the two of them and sticking to the back of their throats.

For some reason swallowing didn't help the lump in his throat dissolve instead built up the pressure of tears behind his eyes, threatening to spill.

"So uh, can either of us actually apparate?" Draco asked quietly.

Harry opened his mouth to reply then shut it again.

"That might be an issue then" Draco said bitterly.

Harry stopped abruptly and grabbed Draco's wrist pulling him to a stop.

"Listen...uh this is a dumb idea and I don't want you to get hurt"

Draco looked directly into Harry's eyes to which Harry immediately hung his head.

"Harry" Draco mummerd softly while gently placing his hands under Harry's chin, gently fanning his fingers to brush against Harry's cheeks.

"You do know all of your plans are stupid right? That's why I'm here I'm the antistupid"

"Yeah"

"Okay so tell me your plan and we'll work through it together yeah?"

Harry nodded, finally looking up into his eyes. "Okay".

With hands linked together they both worked out the plan.

"So what am I supposed to do now?" Pansy asked irritated.

"You-Know-Who thinks you're still on his side, probably thinks you're dead or kidnapped. We might be able to do something with that"

Pansy's eyes were glossy and hazy. "He killed... my parents"

Hermione's face softened and she crouched down to her level.
"I know I'm really sorry that happened I can't even begin to know how you're feeling"

Pansy looked up at her and then collapsed into her shoulders sobbing.

"You're okay you're safe here with me" Hermione said softly.

"Listen he's a horrible evil creature. I know how much he's taken from you and how much pain he's caused. But you have a chance here to do something good. I wouldn't ask this of you if it wasn't a big deal"

Pansy took a Shakey breath in and pulled back her eyes red and puffy but her eyes showed strong emotions.
Emotions of anger, pain and remorse.

"I trust you Granger, tell me what I can do"

Hermione took a shallow breath in and held it. "There is going to be an attack on Hogwarts, I need you to be there to act as if you're with them but protect anyone you can"

"When is the attack meant to happen?" Pansy asked voice trembling.

"In three months from now according to our sources"

"Do you have someone else on the inside? I don't understand how you know this" Pansy questioned

"I can't say who it is, all I heard was that Snape told me that and got the information from someone else"

Pansy was quiet for a few minutes before looking Hermione in the eyes and speaking firmly.

"I'll do it."

Hermione smiled and pulled Pansy into a hug.

"Thank you. The others couldn't see the good in you but I know it's there"

Pansy scoffed "I'm not a good person Granger you've got me wrong"

"Well I believe there's more good in you than you know" Hermione replied with a blush on her cheeks.
