Sophie's POV

I walked up to the glowing gates of Everglen. I was going have a three day sleepover with my best friends. I was hoping me and Biana could have some girl talk because I was having some serious boy troubles. Fitz and Keefe had both been acting really weird around me lately. I'm not sure of what to think of it. I walked up to the gates and was greeted by a very happy Fitz Vacker. I smiled at him and he grabbed my hand. He twined our fingers together and walked me to the doors.

Keefe's POV

I leapt to Everglen and saw Sophie waiting at the gates. She looked like she was in deep thought. I was hoping we were going to play truth or dare or spin the bottle. I wanted to show Sophie I was better for her than Fitz. I know that she had had a crush on Fitz for a while, but that wasn't going to stop me. I studied her outfit. She wore a gown that started ice blue at the top and faded into a teal color. Fitz came to the gates and grabbed Sophie's hand. My gut burned with jealousy and anger. They walked over to the door and I followed behind them. Fitz didn't even seem to see me. He just kept staring at Sophie. I could feel the uncomfortableness radiating off of her. I had to put a stop to this.

Fitz's POV

I waited for Sophie at the gates of my house, Everglen. My spirits lifted when I saw a flash of light. Sophie stood in the middle of the path. She looked like she was in deep thought. Her beautiful brown eyes sparkled. I was going to make everyone play truth or dare tonight so that I could prove to Sophie that I was better for her. I know Keefe likes her and that they are really close. Keefe kept bragging about what Forkle had said. "Miss. Foster understands Mr. Sencen in a way we simply cannot," is what he had said. I hated that quote. She snapped out of her daze and walked over to me with a smile. I smiled at her and grabbed her hand. I twined my fingers with hers and walked over to the door. I had noticed that Keefe had leapt here, but I didn't care for him. I was too focused on Sophie.

Biana's POV

I looked out my window to find Sophie and FItz holding hands. They were so cute as a couple. Then, I spotted a flash of light behind them. Keefe stared at Sophie and Fitz's hands. I had had a crush on him for a while when I was younger. I now had a crush on Dex. His dimples and everything was so cute. He hadn't leapt here yet, but I was super excited for tonight. Me and Sophie were going to have a serious talk about boys. I know both Fitz and Keefe liked Sophie. Not surprising that both of the hottest boys at school like her. Lucky girl. I heard the door slam closed downstairs. I peered out the window again and saw Keefe kicking dirt as he walked over to the door. Fitz was rude not to welcome him. I then ran down the stairs and greeted Sophie.

Dex's POV

I arrived at Everglen seeing Keefe kick dirt as he walked up to the gates. I was guessing Sophie was already here, since Fitz wasn't outside. I waited behind a tree for a while and heard Keefe say, "Why can't she like me. I am just as good as Fitzy." Did Keefe like Sophie? I knew he showed pointers, but still. I thought he like Biana. I'm also relieved he doesn't like Biana because I already liked her. I just don't know how to tell her. I sighed and walked over to Keefe. He jumped when I touched his shoulder. At this point, I was about three inches taller than him. It was funny seeing him scowl when he had to look up at me to talk to me. It was also funny that I was the only person to kiss Sophie on the lips.

"You got this Keefe. I'm rooting for you. Wonderboy doesn't stand a chance," I told him. He gave me a nervous smile and we both walked into Everglen. I first heard Biana screech and pull Sophie up the stairs. I sighed and walked over to Fitz. This was going to be a long night.
