Part Two: Chapter Five
"We know everyone, Sire..." She knelt, and I laughed.
"Oh? How Interesting..."

I gazed at the massive hoard of Iron and Silver that had been recovered from the humans, and hummed. "What to do with you... I cant just leave you alone... but I also can't do much with you..." I sat next to it, and then got an idea, looking at my arm.
Alex looked at me oddly when I began to laugh, but decided to leave me to my devices as I picked up a hammer and then waved a hand over the metal. It collected into a single pool, equal parts silver and iron.
The rock under it rose up, making a rim for the pool not to splash out of, and I reached my right hand in.
I began pulling out small cogs, fitting them together, and soon had a small sparrow, fluttering around the room on wings of silver and iron.
I grinned, and started making something much bigger.
Piece by Piece, I made a gigantic Humanoid, about 5 Meters tall, and began making it a gigantic Lightning Rod.
I modeled his functions after the Zeus of Greek myth, and grinned when he stood before me, complete.
I began creating his siblings, Hades and Poseidon. Alex left me to my devices for the multiple days it took, but eventually they stood before me, my Soldiers.
I grinned and looked for something to fill them, finding a group of human soldiers about to die near my gate. Their ship was about to crash into the rocks. I killed a few fish, and gave Poseidon enough juice to get into the water and crash the ship early.
Their souls proved enough to fill the crystals in his chest, and he began following my orders, finding ships filled with Cross and Iron Soldiers, and sinking them. I nodded and walked back into my Network.
The Iron that Poseidon sank was magically placed in the pool of Iron and Silver, melting and boiling along with the rest.
I found ways to fill the others just as easily. Hades began hunting the forests and caves, searching for enemy soldiers, and Zeus began Smiting enemy encampments, dry lightning burning and killing soldiers with almost no warning as he flew in the air over their heads, glamoured as a giant white-haired God, reminiscent of his myth.
I found myself massively impressed with my creations, and created thousands of smaller versions, mere foot-soldiers, made of clockwork. Their armor was sleek, and pure white, layered and ribbed for both flexibility and durability.
I grinned, watching my Clockwork Soldiers march off, while sitting on my throne. "And here I thought Armies were hard to come by..."
--- Year 36 ---
I frowned down at the battlefield below me, and directed my soldiers to prepare for a flanking maneuver mentally.
As they split off, I sighed, bored with the totalitarian ease by which I conquered the Human Realm.
I'd decided that my Pockets should be united, and created a pocket dimension of the same size and shape as the Earth, transporting all my separate pockets into one giant one.
This new planet was easier to access from any Ley Line, as it didn't need a specific Gateway, and easier to rule, as it was all one singular plane of existence.
Of course, there were new pockets all the time, as the few Fae who were gifted as I was (about four, I believe) were hired to build smaller realms for the Lords of the Fae to rule independently. I did not begrudge them their sanctuaries.
My Clockwork Soldiers met adequate resistance, yet tore through their adversaries with only minor losses, so I leaned back, thoughts moving elsewhere again.
I contemplated the forests I was connected to, and began giving them sentience. Not my intelligence, but true sentience. The Heart of the forest would hold a true Intellect, and a Nymph that was the entire forest, not just a single tree.
Each would have a symbol, some sign that their tree was somehow different from a normal forest dweller. The first was the most ostentatious, my own tree, a glowing Goliath of Gold.
But the second was equally as garish. A gigantic ruby in the shape of a human heart grew inside the trunk of a tree, expanding until it was nearly the size of an elephant.
I snickered at the irony, and moved on. Each forest, in both realms, began gaining sentience; a plethora of different beings began to take root, and I grinned as the world began to wake up a tiny bit, something that simply hadn't happened in many millennia.
I reached deep within myself, and awoke my realm, the very realm itself becoming a being. I absorbed it, and gasped at the complexity of the feeling of an entire realm within my soul and mind.
The Power... it was indescribable. I flicked my hand, mildly annoyed at the humans that were fighting my soldiers, and spikes of Mähe slammed through each of their hearts, ripping out their souls. I took the souls and placed them within a small golden lantern, for my future constructs.
Instead, they began molding together, becoming one entity. I laughed at their audacity, and began researching the creatures origin. In Persia and its connected lands, there was a legend about such beings. Genies... amusing little creatures.
I set the lantern on the arm of my throne, and then breathed deep, before connecting myself to the Earth as well, creating in myself the being that was Earth, or Gaea, depending on who you asked.
I passed out from the enormous amount of information that I was now privy to.
--- Year 37 ---
I opened my eyes, confused. "Odd... how long was I asleep, Alex?" I asked slowly.
No one answered.
"Alex?" I sat up, holding my head. I suddenly knew where she was, and so I walked over to the second door in the hallway, and opened it.
Alex was sitting at a table, playing a game of chess with Nimueh. She gasped when she saw me, and I smiled. "How long was I asleep?" I asked, skipping formalities.
"Almost a full year, Son." Selene said from behind me, walking past and sitting in Alex's spot as she rushed me.
I braced, and held her, grinning. "Morning, lovely." I chuckled.
--- Year 42 ---
"-and so you wish what? A truce? A Surrender? What do you wish to gain from this... Parley?" I smiled at the Pope, who was kneeling before my throne.
He begged again, begging for his servants lives. I hummed, examining my nails. "Honestly... I have no quarrel with humans, if they stop their slaying of Fae... You humans amuse me, generally. I'll happily cease slaughtering your men, if you disband your armies, and swear fealty to me as King..." I grinned.
He blushed red with rage, and controlled himself. "I will never bow to one such as you. You are an abom-"
I flicked a finger, and a spear of earth slammed through his skull. I looked at his successor. "I trust you will be more polite?" I asked kindly.
He slowly knelt. "I... will attempt to accommodate your request... But I cannot nor do I Will to kneel to a Demon."
"I am not a Demon." I frowned. "The person who told you that is idiotic. I do not eat children, I do not terrorize villages. I am no Demon, simply your enemy. The Church has always demonized their enemies to curry favor from the ignorant sheep of their flock. You will not do this to me. I am no Demon." I negated his statement
"Then what are you?"
"I Am Sam. Sam is who I Am." I bowed my head gently.
He inclined his as well. "I am Saint Adelbert of Prussia."
I blinked, and then laughed uproariously, making Smith grin from his place to my right. "OH! That's just Rich!! Saint Adelbert of Magdeburg's successor coming here, of all places?!? HA!" I giggled.
I calmed myself slowly. "My apologies, that was rude of me. Yes, Adelbert, you will be amusing to me. You may become Pope in my Empire." I nodded.
He narrowed his gaze. "I refuse to acknowledge your empire."
I blinked slowly. "Ah... then I suppose you're not necessary." I stabbed a stone spear through his heart, ripping out his soul and adding it to the Genie's pool.
Next, I looked at the acolytes. "I don't suppose you'll be more logical?"
--- Year 50 (1000 AD) ---
I sighed, looking up at the stars, and nodded to myself. I used my power over time to make my valley almost completely stopped in time, just barely creeping through the Continuum, before reaching to create a sentience for the very fabric of the universe, and all of its contents.
My logic was simple. If I passed out for a year, connecting with the earth and absorbing all of its knowledge, then the universe was infinitely more vast. Therefore, if I paused time, I could ensure I didn't lose nearly any time at all.
I absorbed the sentience of the Universe, and blacked out.

--- Year 3000 AD ---
I attempted to open my eyes, only to find I didn't have any.
I had no form, only presence.
My mortal form had destroyed itself, combusting upon attempting to hold the Being that was Me/Us/I/We.
I looked around, and saw only darkness. I searched for the earth, and realized it was in front of me, so tiny I could barely notice it, like a speck of dust.
I peeked closer at it, and attempted to crush myself down far enough to be able to see the planet easily.
That didn't work, stumping me.
Then I realized something.
'Me/Us/I/We am/is/are formless... there is nothing to crush!' Instantly, I was standing on the planets surface, as a human.
I looked around, stupefied, as I saw humans walking in droves, hundreds of thousands, all around me, where my forest used to be.
I hummed and walked over to one, deciding to speak to her. I gently tapped her shoulder, and she looked at me funnily. "What?" She asked rudely.
I hummed. "Might you know what happened to the forest that sat in this spot?" I asked.
She blinked, then growled. "Fuckin' kidding me... he don't even speak German!" She sighed.
I blinked and switched languages. "My apologies. I was mistaken. Might you know what happened to the forest that stood in this location?" I asked again after apologizing.
She raised an eyebrow. "Forest? You mean The Dark Forest? That's almost 200 kilometers south of here, boy. This is Berlin, not some Forest Sanctuary." She spat on the sidewalk and continued walking.
I hummed, and looked at my clothing, then hers. I looked around, and made my clothes match, to lessen my alienation. I blended into the crowd easily, and hummed, watching the humans interact.
I reached into the planet for knowledge, and found that the Ley Lines were Dead and Dying, and my Realm was nigh-impossible to gain entrance to. Even for me. I hissed in disappointment, and was surprised when a human crashed into me, screaming, "MOVE YOU IDIOT!"
A loud machine rumbled past where I was standing, and I blinked. "What was that thing?" I hummed.
The human stood, dusting herself off. "That, Numbskull, was a Car. You almost died, you know. You shouldn't stand in the middle of a street like that." She chided me.
"Street?"
She blinked. "No fucking way... where do you live, under a rock???" She asked, stupefied.
"A Hill, actually." I replied, smiling bewitchingly.
She blinked, then smirked. "Oh wow. To think you'd try to charm me. That won't work, dearest." She showed me an ink design on the back her right hand, an open eye.
I cocked my head. "What's that?"
"The eye of Solomon." She smirked, as if that was something that would make me kneel before her.
I hummed, and stood. "I am Sam. And you?" I held out a hand to shake.
She grinned. "The name is Sarah." She gripped my hand, and stiffened, the Eye Blazing as if it was overfilled, before shutting.
She collapsed against me, shuddering, and shook her head to clear it. "Whoa... What the hell are you, man? Some type of Celestial? Your Mana Reserves are literally bottomless!" She accused, standing straight on shaky knees.
I nodded. "I am Sam. I am The Fabric of The Universe." I tilted my head slowly.
She blinked, and then simply fainted.
"Oh my." I hummed.
