The door opened to the bridal suite and she opened her eyes . The rain was still pounding outside and she was still cold.

There was a figure in black that was too short to be her husband . The being walked to her and pulled a blaster .

She gasped in the darkness and suddenly feared that this was the end , the Skywalker curse coming back.

The curse that killed Queen Padmè Amidala Skywalker , the curse that killed Han Solo the wife of Princess Leia Organa Solo Skywalker who died from the curse as well, the same spell that took the mind and life of Luke Skywalker .

Her grandfather warned her of the curse but she was plucked by the Supreme Leader to marry his grandson and be the new princess to the family.

"My husband is in the washroom ! Please he'll be here any moment ! Go now and I won't say of you coming in!" She begged , grasping her blanket around herself.

"I'll give you money ! Credits ! Anything ! Please !" She then headed the blaster lock and load .

"Please !" She begged and suddenly someone impaled him with a red lightsaber.

The body fell onto the floor and she saw the mask of her husband. "Come" he gave her his hand and she grasped it.

She looked down to see the dead body of the intruder. She fainted and fell in his arms .

He threw her over his shoulder and ran out of the room .

There was a safe space , Rey and woken up and she was given to a caretaker . They wrapped her in a blanket and gave her a cup of warm tea as they sat under a tent outside.

"Grandfather are you alright?" She heard her husband say as he went down to his grandfather who was sitting down .

"I'm alright... just fine ... go check on your new bride" he said and patted Kylo's shoulder.

Rey watched as the masked man walked to her and bent down to her level . "Are you okay?"

"No" she shook her head .

"You'll be fine" he said patting her shoulder and then went back to his grandfather.

She glared at her husband who was fussing over his grandfather . She sighed and closed her eyes.

There was a new bedroom for the young couple . She shivered in the cool of the room.

Kylo walked to the door , reaching with his hand to grab the door knob.

"I was almost killed and you're not going to stay with me?" She asked .

"There are guards -"

"Clearly not if I almost died " she responded .

"What do you wish I do reyahnne ?" He asked with his mask in his hands.

"To act as a husband ... I understand you only married me to please your grandfather ... but I'm still your wife nonetheless." Rey said with her arms over her chest.

"How does one act like a husband ? Hmm?" He asked sarcastically . "Kill one whom come to harm the wife ?"

"I mean ... showing some compassion ... we haven't even been married for a full 12 hours yet and we're already bickering !" She snapped.

"What did you want then ? Hmm ? I don't know you... you don't know me ... My plan in life is to make my
Grandfather proud , and make the rest of my family proud ... to be a good ruler for the Galaxy -"

"Some family man who doesn't even spend the night of his wedding in bed with his wife ... " she glared at him .

"Did you want me to bed you ?" He asked her angrily.

"No " she looked at him "I wanted to be treated like an equal not a thing!"

He walked to her and she stopped her little rant . Suddenly he cupped her jaw and looked at her square in the eyes.

"You will be my equal when I know I can trust you"

"Trust a two way street Kylo Ren" she snapped.

"It may be Reyhanne Ren" he sneered and walked out of their room.
