Jayson's POV

"H-Hello?"

I woke up somewhere that wasn't the dream kingdom. I didn't really know where it was.

"Who are you?" I demanded.

"You don't recognize me sweetheart? How disappointing." It was Crystalline, now that I listened to the voice.

"Hello, Crystalline. Glad you could invade my dreams again." I said with a small chuckle.

Crystalline shrugged. "I just wanted to tell you some important information, but it looks like you're too busy flirting around with that Shelby girl. So I'll just leave you alone."

She began to disappear, but I stopped her. "Crystalline wait! I need to know this!"

She smiled and turned around. "That's what I thought, now listen closely. It's gonna be a lot to take in."

I stood still in place as Crystalline fixed up her hair and began to talk.

"I found out some new information, and it's basically who will survive after the major fight between Sonath."

My heart skipped a beat. "Who will survive?"

The angel looked at the ground as she mumbled this part. "I looked into billions of alternate universes, and almost all of them didn't look good at all. More than 95% of them had everyone dead except for one person."

"And whats the percent of us all surviving?" I asked.

"Three percent..."

It was an awkward silence for a while, until I noticed something that she said.

"Who will be the last one standing?"

Crystalline looked at me with a mix of sadness and horror, until her eyes glowed pink.

"It will be the one who chooses to give their heart away away to the one they love. It will be fire and water, energy and lightning, and earth and air."

And then everything vanished.

Noah's POV

"Wake up baby."

I shook myself awake as I didn't think that was actually Natsuki to begin with. She chuckled, seeing my reaction. "What is it?"

"You always call me dummy, not baby. So I didn't think it was you."

Natsuki shrugged. "Well I guess you're right..."

We got up and found Dawson still passed out on the recliner, as expected. He always slept the entire day when we still saw each other as kids.

I smiled, and I ran up to the chair and pounced on him, scaring the crap out of him.

"WHAT THE HELL NOAH?" Dawson screamed and pushed me away.

Jayson and Felipe wobbled out of their rooms and saw what was going on and started laughing. Dawson was still trying to process what I just did.

Then he rubbed his eyes and stretched his arms. I helped him up and decided to tell the group that we should try and get Nathan and Hannah up out of bed.

"Where's Shelby and Sayori?" Felipe asked.

I frowned and looked around the living room where we were standing.

They weren't anywhere to be seen.

"Jayson?" I asked.

He just shrugged, and I could tell something was off right away. He typically knew where Shelby was.

"Do you think they went somewhere?" Felipe considered.

"Maybe. I'm not really too worried about it though."

Then Nathan came out of the room and picked up on our expressions.

"What's going on?"

"We can't find Sayori and Shelby." Natsuki said.

His eyes widened. "Hannah isn't here either."

Dawson threw his hands up in the air out of exasperation. "Oh come on! Do you think they had a girls day out or something?"

I shook my head. "No, or they would've brought her along with them!" I nodded towards Natsuki.

Then Felipe tried to cut in. "Guys let's not rip each other's heads off about this. We're probably just overreacting. Let's try to look around the house and see if they left any evidence, okay?"

I nodded my head, mentally kicking myself for not calming down quicker.

"Good idea. Nathan, you look around your room with Hannah. Felipe, your room. Natsuki, our room. I'll go with Jayson. Sound good?"

Everyone nodded, and we all broke to search the house.

We searched everywhere through Shelby's purse, her wallet, everything. And nothing was out of place like she took something either.

"Well jeez. Nothing." Jayson said.

"It's gonna be okay dude." I said.

"Oh I'm not really that worried. I know Shelby can fight, seeing her throughout the Vancouver trip and such."

He kept rubbing his eyes, like he was still tired.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked, concerned.

Jayson shook his head. "Not really. I just had a dream with Crystalline last night."

My first thought was Crystalline back in the first time in Chicago, but then I remembered Spencer saved her from the third eye's infection.

"What did she say?"

"She gave me some sort of prophecy line, and I didn't really understand what she meant." He said.

"Well? I'm here to listen." I insisted.

Jayson started explaining his dream, and what he said made me more nervous by the second. He said that there would be just one person remaining alive, and only around a three percent chance of winning the fight, which is much slimmer than I'd personally like.

"So she never said who would be the last one standing?" I asked.

He shook his head. "That was the prophecy. Fire and water, energy and lightning, and earth and air. That's what I don't understand."

I sighed. "Prophecies are sort of supposed to be like that. It's like a riddle."

Then Nathan and Felipe came bursting into the room, scaring both of us.

"I think we found them!" Nathan said.

"You know, possessing an angel is something that Pops could blast you away in any second." He said.

"Would you just shut up? That man doesn't stand a chance against my power, and I'm stronger than ever!"

He only shrugged. "I don't care. I'm just surprised you haven't vaporized me yet."

I got angry and a fireball appeared in my hand, and I jumped back in shock.

Then I smiled, and I held my hands out and it happened again.

"Haha, about time. The fire spirits finally recognized me." I said, ecstatic.

I shot both of the fireballs at the nearby curtains, and they were engulfed in the flames, soon burning to the ground.
