Heya! Getting next chapter out is gonna take a bit because I'm trying to update my other books before I update this one (since they haven't had updates for literal months-), so take a comic filled with lore while you guys wait! I'll be putting what they're saying under the images in case my bad handwriting is hard to read lol.

"Professor? I've told you there's no need for formalities when talking to-"

"..."

"...Professor?"

"We need to talk. It's about Sabre. Follow me."

"What is it? Is something wrong?"

"While looking through past research, I found something... odd. It looks like Sabre is much, much more than we first believed. You need to see this."

"Professor, wh-"

"What the... What's all this?"

"Data of Sabre's DNA from an experiment. Remember how Sabre isn't really a human?"

"Well, yes, it's kind of obvious once you think about it. I don't know how the other Leaders haven't figured it out. 

...Why?"

"I looked closer at his DNA, because something seemed off. Even for him. But... I never could have expected this."

"His DNA... it's impossibly perfect. No gaps, mistakes, mutations, or anything... not even any discrepancies found normally or naturally. Absolutely perfect."

"But... that only happens if-"

"If someone is directly connected to a deity of some kind. I know."

"But- how?! This doesn't even remotely look related to any deity from here, which is more confusing!"

"Yeah, definitely not from this Realm. And on top of that, I looked at the little creatures' DNA as well, and they're very similar. Sabre is just more complicated than them."

"Wh- You took DNA from the creatures?!"

"Yeah yeah, it's a bad idea, I know. But I just couldn't ignore it. And... there's more. I noticed differences in half his DNA, and... well, just take a look. This is a different strand."

"What on Earth is that...?"

"Rot. A previously undiscovered kind. It's somehow affecting him right down to his DNA, the same rot around his missing eye. Scans show that this rot is fighting against the divine power whatever deity he's connected to gave, explaining why he's entirely powerless."

"This- We need to tell someone about this! This could be extremely bad for Sabre! And the 'deity' thing-"

"No. Bad idea. Think of his situation; Even though it's bad, he likely has a reason for hiding this, knowing him. And I don't think we want to know it yet.

Besides... he's not exactly had the best experiences with other people telling everyone his personal business. It's not our place to say, and he needs to tell others on his own time.

So, for now, we monitor him. Make sure it doesn't get worse, and help him if it does. Maybe get Time to help since he can keep a better eye on him. But other than that... we don't tell a soul. Just be patient."

"...Okay."
