Ch. 3 College Acceptance Party

Several hours later, it is nighttime. Liv was in her bedroom, looking at herself in the body mirror. She was wearing a golden royal blue dress and royal blue heels. Her outfit made her dark red hair and blue-violet eyes pop out.

A knock on the door grabbed Liv's attention. " Come in!" She shouts and smiles when she sees Peg opening the door and entering her bedroom.

" Look at you!" Peg becomes emotional when she sees Liv since she looks like her twin sister.

Liv blushes, getting flustered. " Thank you for getting this for me. I love it." She twirled.

" I know the party was last minute. But all we want is to celebrate your success." Peg fondly smiled.

Liv could hear music getting played at her Uncle Pete's place. " I still cannot believe you and Uncle Pete were able to throw this party for me. I could hear the DJ playing music." She commented.

" Well. You know how your Uncle gets. All he wants is for you to be happy. After I lost our daughter from a miscarriage, Pete sees you as his daughter." Peg softly speaks.

Liv's gaze softened. She remembered when Peg and Pete announced that they were expecting a baby girl and how they would name her Pistol. Sadly, her Aunt had a miscarriage when she was only three months.

" Well. That is why Mom called you and Uncle Pete my Godparents." Liv warmly smiled.

Peg walks up to Liv, and the two females hug each other.

" I love you so much," Peg whispered.

" I love you too," Liv mumbled.

Peg lets go of Liv, and the two females walk out of her bedroom. They left Goof's residence and walked around to Pete's residence. Peg escorted Liv to the back of the house, and the young female's blue-violet eyes widened when she saw how the party looked.

Due to Pete being the King of Mattresses and selling so many beds, he can afford to host a luxury party for Liv.

" Did Uncle Pete hire a Party planner or something?" Liv asked.

" He did." Peg nodded. " I didn't cook because he hired professional chefs to make the food for the party." She looks at Liv.

" Ah!" Liv nodded. She smiled when she spotted Pete conversing with Max and PJ.

" Okay, boys! This party is special because Liv worked hard to get into Elk Creek University. I do not want you two and that idiot friend of yours." Pete glanced at sixteen-year-old Robert 'Bobby' Zimuruski, who was admiring the chocolate fountain. " To ruin her night." He firmly speaks.

" Relax, Uncle Pete. We are not going to ruin Liv's party." Max reassured while PJ timidly nodded since his father scares him when he gets angry.

" You better. Because if you guys make Liv cry or upset, you three will clean the factory for the whole summer." Pete threatened.

Max and PJ looked at each other and gulped since they had been at the factory before, which was huge. And they knew that Pete would have them and Bobby clean every room if they ruined Liv's College Acceptance Party.

" We promised!" Max and PJ saluted.

" Good." Pete nodded.

" Uncle Pete!" Liv shouts, grabbing Pete's attention.

" Liv! Look at you!" Pete held Liv's hand and twirled her. " You look so beautiful in the dress that Peg and I got you." He warmly smiled—his demeanor softening at the sight of his beloved niece.

Max glanced at PJ. " How is it that Uncle Pete is like a drill sergeant regarding Bobby and us? But, he is a big soft teddy bear for Liv?" He asked.

PJ shrugged. " Mom says it's because Liv is Dad's only niece." He scratched his chin, unaware of the real reason behind Pete favoring Liv.

Bobby approached Max and PJ, holding a plate of food. He stands next to his friends and spots Liv conversing with Pete. He whistled, finding Liv beautiful.

" Woooh! Who is that hottie over there?" Bobby asked.

" That's my sister, Bobby!" Max hisses, glaring at his friend.

" Liv-Liv?" Bobby raised his eyebrow since he didn't realize that the beautiful girl conversing with Pete was Liv. " Damn! She's hot." He nodded.

PJ held Max back when he saw his cousin ready to kill Bobby. " Max! Remember, our promise to Dad. We cannot ruin Liv's party, and it just started." He reminded.

Max annoyingly rolled his dark brown eyes. He didn't like that his best friend had a big crush on Liv.

" Hey. Are the girls coming?" Bobby asked while looking at Max and PJ.

" Girls?" PJ raised an eyebrow while letting go of Max.

" Yeah. Roxanne and Stacey." Bobby takes a bite of his hamburger.

Max blushes at the mention of Roxanne. " I don't know if they got invited." He murmured.

" Knowing Dad, he must have invited Roxanne and Stacey's parents. Then again, Stacey's sister is best friends with Liv. So, they should be showing up soon." PJ smiled at Max.

Max smiled at the thought of seeing Roxanne at Liv's College Acceptance Party. " How do I look?" He asked while looking at PJ and Bobby.

" You look like a penguin." Bobby eyed Max's formal attire.

Max annoyingly rolled his dark brown eyes.

" You look great, Max." PJ gives Max a thumbs up.

" Thanks, PJ!" Max smiled.

" LIV!" A feminine voice squealed, grabbing Liv's attention. She turned around and smiled when she saw Lily running towards her. Behind her best friend is Lily's younger sister, Stacey, and next to Stacey is Max's girlfriend, Roxanne.

" LILY!" Liv squealed, and the two teens hugged.

" Roxanne," Max whispered when he saw Roxanne. He gulped, nervous since he and Roxanne had been a couple for a year. He still couldn't believe he was in a relationship with the most beautiful girl in school.

Roxanne spotted Max and waved. She elbowed Stacey and motioned her to Max, PJ, and Bobby.

" Hey, guys!" Roxanne and Stacey approached the boys and smiled at them.

" This party looks so cool." Roxanne starts the conversation while looking at her surroundings.

" Yeah. Uncle Pete sure knows how to throw a fun party." Max responded and smiled at Roxanne.

" They have a chocolate fountain!" Bobby exclaimed while holding a plate of food in his grasp.

Stacey looked at the food and smiled. " Let's go grab something to eat." She turns to Roxanne.

" Yeah. I haven't eaten anything since breakfast." Roxanne nodded.

" We'll walk with you." Max motioned PJ and Bobby to follow him as he escorted Roxanne and Stacey to the buffet.

With Liv and Lily, the two teens converse about their upcoming Orientation Day since they plan to go to Elk Creek University via road trip, with the two girls wanting to sight-see and such.

" I cannot believe we will become students of Elk Creek University this fall!" Lily walks to the buffet table with Liv since they want to eat something.

" I know. I was worried about failing my finals and was scared Elk Creek University wouldn't accept me because of poor grades." Liv mumbled. She watched Max, and his friends put food onto their plates.

" Liv! You and I got the highest honors in the school. Of course, Elk Creek University would accept us." Lily smiled.

Liv smiled. She was about to grab a plate to serve herself but stopped when she heard a familiar voice saying a nickname she recognized.

" Hey, Trixie!" A masculine voice calls out to Liv.

Liv turned around, and her blue-violet eyes widened when she saw the familiar afro that belonged to her dear friend, Jackson Campbell. She knew no one in the party except for Lily would recognize him as PowerLine because his usual appearance looked different from his civilian attire.

" Jackson? Is that you?" Liv asked, looking surprised. She glanced at Lily and saw her best friend nudging her to hug Jackson. She amusingly shakes her head and smiles while walking towards Jackson.

" It's me." Jackson amusingly chuckled. He wore square-shaped glasses, looking like a cute nerd with his afro.

" I cannot believe it! I thought you were on your way to Los Angeles!" Liv hugged Jackson, feeling happy to see her dear friend.

" I was in the neighborhood when I got a text from your Uncle telling me that you got accepted to Elk Creek University." Jackson hugged Liv. " I'm so happy for you! I know how much you wanted to attend there." He lets go of her and smiled.

Goofy held a big basket filled with goodies that Peg helped him make for Liv to take on her trip to Elk Creek University. His dark brown eyes blinked when he spotted his daughter conversing with Jackson.

" Hey, Pete! Who's that boy with Liv?" Goofy asked.

Pete turned his gaze to Liv and Jackson and smiled, relieved that the teen had made it to his niece's College Acceptance Party.

" You don't remember him?" Pete asked with a raised eyebrow. " That boy is Jackson Campbell. Liv's boyfriend. They have known each other for a year now." He looks at Goofy.

Goofy's dark brown eyes widened since Liv had never told him she was seeing someone.

" Oh gosh! I need to introduce myself to him!" Goofy set the basket on the table and was about to walk toward Jackson and Liv, but Pete stopped him.

" You are only going to embarrass Liv." Pete firmly speaks. " Let her have fun. It's her night." He reminded Goofy.

Goofy looked at Liv and saw how happy she looked with Jackson and smiled. He nodded, letting Pete drag him to a table where he and Peg were sitting.

" How did you get here?" Liv softly asked. She and Jackson were at the buffet table, getting food onto their plates.

" With my RV. Don't worry. Armando only dropped me off and left soon after." Jackson reassured since he knows Liv isn't a fan of stardom and wants to have an everyday life.

" If you need a place to stay, we have plenty of rooms at mine or my Uncle Pete's place." Liv softly smiled.

" I don't want to be a burden." Jackson blushes.

" You won't!" Liv reassured. She escorted Jackson to a table where Lily and some of their high school friends were hanging out.

" Hey, guys. I want you all to meet Jackson Campbell. He's a close friend of mine. I met him last year in the summer at a PowerLine concert." Liv introduced Jackson to her high school friends.

" Hey, everyone!" Jackson waved, feeling glad to have some normalcy since not everyone knew how he looked when he wasn't in his signature yellow jumpsuit.

Liv and Jackson sat next to each other at the table. They ate and conversed with the other teens. Jackson focused on what Liv was saying and smiled when he learned that Elk Creek University was in Los Angeles, where his last tour performance was.

" Hey, I can take you and Lily to Elk Creek University." Jackson looks at Liv and Lily.

Liv and Lily looked at each other and then at Jackson. " You can!" They shouted, looking surprised.

" Yeah." Jackson nodded. " That's only if you two ladies are okay with it." He shyly stared at them.

" We plan on leaving tomorrow morning." Liv looked at Lily and Jackson.

" That's why I have all my stuff in Liv's room since we will have a slumber party." Lily giggled.

" You two can always hang out at concerts my friend performs," Jackson whispered.

" Do I have to be Electricity?" Liv softly asked while looking at Jackson.

" You don't have to," Jackson reassured.

Liv nodded.

" What do you say, Lily? Want to have a road trip with Jackson? Or have our own girls' road trip?" Liv asked.

" I don't mind having a road trip with Jackson. It will be a memorable one." Lily smiled.

" Will Ricardo be okay with us being in the RV?" Liv looks at Jackson.

" I want you two there. So, Ricardo has to listen to what I say, or I'd have my friend fire him." Jackson softly smiled.

Liv sweatdropped since she could see a dark aura surrounding Jackson at the idea of firing Ricardo if he planned not to let her and Lily go on a road trip with the famous young singer.

" Alright. Lily and I will see you tomorrow." Liv smiled, excited to have a road trip with two of her dear friends.

" Great! Also, I want to give you something. Consider this a gift for getting accepted to your dream school." Jackson pulls out a necklace and holds it to Liv.

Liv's blue-violet eyes widened when she saw the necklace. She noticed it had an infinity and a lightning symbol on it.

" It's beautiful. Can you put it on me?" Liv asked.

" Of course!" Jackson nodded. He saw Liv turn around, and he carefully puts the necklace around her neck.

Unbeknown to the two teens, Lily took a picture of them so they could remember it for the rest of their lives.

" Thank you for coming. I appreciate it so much." Liv whispered while admiring the necklace that was around her neck.

" You don't have to thank me. I am glad you wanted me to be a part of your life." Jackson softly smiled. " I-I appreciate your, um, friendship so much." He blushes, feeling glad it was dark outside, and there wasn't much light in the backyard.

" I also appreciate your friendship." Liv turns her head back and smiles at Jackson.

Jackson's dark brown eyes intently stared at Liv's blue-violet eyes. He cursed himself for being shy regarding his feelings for a pretty girl like Liv. Ever since he met Liv at the concert, he has been crushing on her but is scared that she wouldn't want to be with a famous guy like him.
