Everyone knew Hoseok was dead, everyone had suspicions on what Hoseok had done to just fall over and die and the test results to confirm everyone's suspicions were coming in today.

Yoongi anticipated it the most. He waited so long for this day, so once Namjoon's phone went off Yoongi dove for it.

"Hello?" He panted.

"Is this Mr. Kim?" The lady on the other line politely asked.

"Yes," Yoongi responded as if he were Namjoon.

"The results showed that your friend did overdose. With all of the evidence and the rest of the results, it was intentional. Did Hoseok ever show signs of being suicidal?" The lady asked.

Yoongi didn't want to answer he didn't need to answer so he immediately hung up and before Namjoon could say anything Yoongi stormed out.

As Yoongi stormed out he saw Taehyung literally skipping down the hall.

"Hyung, Why do you look mad?" Taehyung asked innocently.

"What do you think?" Yoongi growled.

"Well, then why are you mad?" Taehyung asked.

"Do you want to know why I'm mad?" Yoongi had started to raise his voice. He was about to yell so loud that hopefully it would get through Taehyung's thick skull and he would just realize that Hoseok had killed himself and Jin had been dead for a week and a half, but before he could Jungkook quickly ran out to stop him.

"Tae!" Jungkook yelled.

"Kookie!" Taehyung yelled back with a small smile.

"Can I talk to you for a moment?" Jungkook asked Taehyung.

Taehyung nodded with a smile and as they walked away Jungkook made sure to shoot Yoongi a glare before he left with Taehyung into the living room. Jungkook sat Taehyung on the couch and, as if Taehyung was a toddler, Jungkook kneeled in front of Taehyung.

"Look, I know that it might be a bit hard for you to understand, but you remember Hoseok hyung, right?" Jungkook asked looking up at Taehyung. Taehyung nodded. "Well, he isn't here anymore. He's dead. He isn't coming home."

This hit Taehyung hard. It hit Taehyung so hard that it got him out of his toddler-like trance. Taehyung slowly nodded.

"How?" Taehyung asked quietly.

"He overdosed," Jungkook said speaking down to Taehyung as if he were a toddler.

"I see." Taehyung nodded.

After being informed that Hoseok's funeral would take place tomorrow Taehyung left.

He walked the dark streets. Every step was hard to take and Taehyung couldn't stay in his denial stage anymore. Not only had he lost his friend, Jin, but he had lost Hoseok. Now he had to accept two of his best friends' deaths.

Taehyung kept his hood up as he walked down the damp streets. Small raindrops landed on his face every once in awhile, but the rain had pretty much stopped and it just left the damp streets and flooded gutters behind.

Questions did not flood his mind anymore, instead, his mind only played a small tune as he walked down the streets. His peace did not last long. Soon enough he realized what the tune he had been humming was. Young forever. That was the name of the song. Then - as if on cue - The rain started to pour down. The rain was loud and cold and masked Taehyung's red, teary-eyed, puffy, and broken face quite well. This had pulled Taehyung out of his toddler-like state and threw him into reality. Now he was stuck in a horrible reality. Maybe this is just a bad dream, he thought to himself. I'm going to wake up any moment now. Except, he never did "wake up" because it wasn't a dream.

Today is the day where everyone dressed up in black and had on fancy make-up. The men had on rented suits and the girls wore the dresses that they probably hadn't worn since their grandmothers' funeral. Taehyung had made sure to mark the date, July 22nd. All of the 5 remaining boys wore black suits. Taehyung's suit was wrinkled just like the rest of the boys' suits except Jungkook who had a nicely ironed suit on. They all walked into the ceremony with solemn looks plastered on their faces.

Taehyung watched Hoseok's grief-stricken mother sit across from the 5 boys. They had all said their farewells to Hoseok and we're now eating along with all of the stranger's that had also lost their loved ones.

"Thank you," She started as she stared at the boys. Her voice had cracked so she had stopped to gather herself for a second. Then she began again, "I can't thank you boys enough for how happy you made him in his last years. He would talk about you guys so much that at one point I knew so much about all of you that it almost felt like you were all my sons." Everyone lightly chuckled. "So thank you." She finished as a few tears rolled down her cheeks.

She then continued to talk about the great life that Hoseok had made for himself and how proud she was of him, but Taehyung kept his head down as tears fell down his face and onto his lap. Taehyung stayed that way until everyone had talked a little bit about the good times they had with Hoseok and now it was his turn.

He took a deep breath and looked back at everyone. He smiled, gathered his thoughts and memories then started.

"You know, Hoseok was the happiest person I've ever known besides myself. He smiled at everything and always put others before himself. I actually remember this time that Hoseok and I were hanging out together in a hotel room. It was our first big tour and he told me 'If we are to be best friends you have to follow one rule'-" Taehyung's voice cracked as he recalled the memory. He looked up at the ceiling and blinked a few times to try and rid the tears from his eyes. He looked back at them and continued. "He told me the one rule was that I had to die before him because he didn't want to have to deal with watching me suffer because of his death. I clearly didn't follow that rule because I'm still here." The tears that he had repressed all day came cascading down his cheeks. "I'm so sorry Hoseok." He whispered as he looked back down at his lap.

Soon enough they watched Hoseok be buried right next to Jin on the beach. Taehyung did not stand with the rest of the boys in the front, instead, he stayed in the back. He watched from afar and admired how peaceful the sorrowful moment was.

Again, the peace did not last long. As soon as Hoseok was fully buried, Taehyung left. He carried a duffel bag with him to hold his extra clothes. He found a public bathroom at a gas station and quickly changed.

He changed into a baggy white t-shirt with a nicely fitting, light, black jacket. He wore nice blue denim jeans with brown combat boots and shoved his suit and dress shoes into the duffel bag.

He walked through the city with the duffel bag in hand. He wasn't going somewhere specific even if it looked like he had somewhere to be, he just needed to be somewhere that wasn't the dorm. There was no rain and it was a nice clear night. He stomped past every person, every building and didn't bother to look into any dark alleyways, but the one thing that caught his attention was screaming.

A woman's screaming.

He didn't know what compelled him to follow the sobs and screams, maybe it was the deep voice of a yelling man that came from the same direction, maybe it was just pure curiosity, but either way, he followed.

He was lead through an alley to a small, broken home. The paint on the outside of the house was chipping and looked dirty. The windows were either cracked, broken, or not there at all and everything that surrounded the house was dead. It looked almost haunted. The door was wide open, so Taehyung dropped his bag and ventured inside.

The screams and sobs were clear now. The man was yelling at the woman and you could hear the sound of shattering glass and other things being thrown around.

Taehyung proceeded down the hall with caution. He made sure that he was unnoticed. He peered into the room where the screams, sobs, and shattering came from and saw a drunk looking man yelling at a woman who was curled up on the ground, sobbing and not daring to look at the man. Taehyung quickly looked around at his surroundings and saw a beer bottle. He quickly grabbed it and quickly made his way into the room.

Taehyung subconsciously made the decision to not question what was going on, instead, he just went straight for the unsuspecting man.

Taehyung hit the bottle on the man's head so it would break and in the heat of the moment, he stabbed the bottle into the man's stomach. The man's face showed shock and the look in his eyes showed betrayal even when Taehyung didn't even know the man's name.

Taehyung's white shirt was now covered in the thick, dark red liquid that stained his hands. Taehyung quickly realized what he had just done. The woman let out a blood-curdling scream and ran to the man.

Taehyung frantically tried to wipe the blood from his hands onto his shirt and pants and then frantically tried to wipe the blood off of his white shirt. He stumbled back as he stared at the smeared blood on his body. His hands went straight to his hair and face as he slid down a wall and onto the ground. He too was now crying. His face soon became covered in blood and he could feel it in his hair.

Before anything more could happen he ran out of the house. He forgot his duffel bag and ran as fast as he could to the dorm. No one was home and there was a note on the door that read 'Taehyung, I made the boys come with me to try and find you, if you are reading this, call one of us. We'll come home straight away.'

Taehyung didn't call them and instead, he rushed inside to get on some new clothes. He tore his room apart trying to find something that he could wear, but he was unsuccessful. He was hysterical at this point and was running around the dorm like a mad man. Guilt tugged at his heart and mind. He couldn't get the gory scene out of his mind. Every detail played in his mind like a movie.

Taehyung had decided he could not face the guilt that he would have to deal with for the rest of his life.

~

A fan of BTS was actually going out into the town that night. She, unfortunately, was the one to find Taehyung. She called 911. Taehyung had jumped off of a cliff and, unfortunately, having a fan of his find his broken body. The only thing he had left behind was a note in his pocket.

The note was clearly not written by Taehyung, but It read, 'If one cannot deal with their mistakes, crimes, and misfortunes it might end their life. Their guilt will accompany them at all times. The afterlife will not relieve them, instead, they will relive that moment, unable to change it until they can overcome it.~J'

All of the boys knew it was not Taehyung's writing, no one knew where it had come from, the only thing that hinted at where and who it had come from was the signed 'J' and the fact that is had been written on a napkin from a restaurant. Jungkook remembered the last note that had been with Hoseok. Both notes were clearly written by the same person, but who was the person? Who was J?
