The long awaited moment had come. The boys were still doing the same thing. The room was completely silent except for the tapping of Yoongi's foot, Namjoon's mumbles, and Jimin's small sniffles.

The minute they heard the creak of the door their heads all shot up to look in that direction. They all stared at the solemn looking doctor.

They knew the answer.

"We did everything we could-" The doctor was cut off by Yoongi's burst of anger.

"Clearly you didn't!" Yoongi yelled as he jumped up from his seat. The first tears made their way down his cheeks. "Because if you did he would be alive! He would be in a hospital bed as he waited for us! BUT NOW HE'S DEAD! Dead, DO YOU HEAR ME? Dead! Just Dead." Yoongi was angry. He couldn't believe this. He gritted his teeth, gave the doctor one last look, and left. He stomped out of the hospital. He made a point to slam the door behind himself. Yoongi stomped all the way back home, he angrily wiped and blinked his tears away. What kind of doctor was he anyway? Where did he get his degree, a clown college?! Yoongi blamed everyone for his friend's death. He blamed everyone. The stupid road, the stupid car, the stupid red honda, the other stupid people that were driving on the road, the doctors, the hospital, everyone. It was everyone's fault that Jin was dead.

The room was silent after Yoongi left. There wasn't a sound for awhile, until Namjoon broke the silence.

"I'm sorry, he was just frustrated." Namjoon apologized. "How did Jin die? Why did he die? What happened?" Namjoon continued questioning the doctor. The only thing the doctor could provide Namjoon with was a note and an explanation as to what happened. The whole ordeal was written in the note. Every detail. From the red Honda to the last thing Jin thought. Then, in the note after the gory and detailed scene, Jin wrote his thanks to the guys and wished them the best. The one thing Namjoon couldn't wrap his head around was how Jin knew.

J-hope was in shock. His friend was dead. He would never see Jin's smile when the boys were being idiots and Jin would just shake his head and laugh. He would never hear Jin roar through the dorm yelling about how it was Taehyung's day to clean the kitchen and he hadn't done it. J-hope would never see Jin sing through the house again, he would never be able to teach Jin another dance move or perform with him ever again. The stage, the studio, the songs, the dances would never be the same again. Namjoon's questions could not be heard by J-hope who was too stuck in his own thoughts to even acknowledge that Yoongi had left.

Jimin immediately felt himself fall into a downward spiral. His heart physically ached for his friend's death. He understood that Jin couldn't come back unlike Namjoon who had been bargaining with himself and God to try to make sure Jin would be okay or that Jin would come back. Jimin heard the desperation in Namjoon's voice but he soon tuned Namjoon out. Jimin needed time. Time to process all of this. Soon Jimin's small sniffles had turned into aching sobs. His face was in his hands. His sobs sounded so... lost. They sounded like a child who had just lost their mother. Jimin's sobs rung out through the hospital. His nose was running and his eyes were closed as they desperately tried to stop the tears. His lips trembled in an attempt to hold his sobs and his chest shook with his sobs. Soon his hands moved from his face to his hair as he tried to get the tears to stop.

Taehyung had tuned out. His mind had completely stopped Taehyung from accepting that his friend was dead. He head rocked back and fourth to a calming beat as he waited for the rest to leave, so he too could leave. He had decided to believe it hadn't happened. His friend had just gone on a long trip. He would be back. Jin always came back. Taehyung couldn't accept Jin's death because in Taehyung's mind Jin hadn't died at all. He was safe somewhere to visit someone. Jin was just on a trip. Taehyung was like a toddler in this sense. A clueless, helpless toddler.

Jungkook immediately went to comfort Jimin. Someone had to be there for him. Jin was dead. That fact Jungkook had to accept, but Jungkook knew it would be okay. They would move on. Jungkook had wrapped his arms around Jimin's shaking body and was holding down Jimin's arms, away from his hair. Jimin had fought to get his hands back to his hair for a second but then melted into Jungkook's chest. Jungkook pet Jimin's hair and tried to calm him down. He looked at his surroundings. J-hope had an expressionless look on his face. Namjoon was in a panic and was asking the doctor so many questions that could have no answer. Yoongi had just left and Taehyung looked like a toddler who had no idea of what was going on. Poor Taehyung. Jungkook, himself had accepted the news. He cared for Jin so much, but the others had taken it so bad and Jungkook was honestly scared for them. People needed them. Jungkook had made it his mission to keep them together even if it never would never be the same.

They got to see Jin. His lips were now blue and his skin was cold. His eyes were closed, but his mouth was slightly open. His hair was nicely groomed and was very soft. His fingernails had started to turn yellow now and his lips were chapped. His skin was smooth. He seemed so peaceful in death. He was beautiful. That made them all believe that there really was beauty in death.

Later his mother came. It was the worst scene to see a mother lose her son. They didn't stay for long and soon left. News that Jin was dead spread like wildfire and the ARMYs didn't take it any better than the boys themselves. It was unknown if bangtan would continue.

In honor of Jin, they buried his body in front of the big pile of boulders on the beach. Jin's grave faced the water, the same water he would've have seen alive if he had made it through the car ride.
