Slenderman's P.O.V : I was taking a nice walk though my woods it was very calm relaxing almost unlike the normal loudness of my mansion of someone yelling about something thus causing of course one of the pastas fighting over who was better at something I didn't want to be there any longer and had to clear my head before I could go back to continue any work when a strange aura snapped me out of my thoughts the aura was somehow familiar to me in a way 

"I have to follow it one of my proxies must've gotten hurt when chasing off a human who wondered in" I thought walking closer to the source once I found it or should I say them I froze in shock it wasn't one of my proxies no it was worse....so much worse a young child a flipping child! they looked to have been running from something their clothes were torn from the branches and bushes thorns were in their dress but none I could see on their skin their ginger hair was a mess next to them was a small purple bag I bent down to carefully checked for a pulse thankfully they had one a weak one but one nonetheless I mentally sighed in relief that's when I noticed how thin they were they couldn't have been older nor younger than 8 or 9 years old far too thin to be healthy they were only skin and bones when I reached for their bag to see who they are a photo of them on a keychain hanging on the bags strap came into view with only the faint light of the moon I made out what seemed to be their mother in the photo the mother had the same necklace as the child when I took a closer glance at the child in the photo they seem to have green eyes and a girl but she wasn't as thin as she is now but the necklace she has it was familiar to me 

"Why is it so familiar?" then yelling pulled me out of my thoughts the ones yelling might be the reason she is here in my woods

"I won't let them take her" I thought as I quickly picked her up and grabbed the bag as well and teleported back to the mansion I didn't know what I was getting myself into I sighed mentally seeing she was still unconscious until I know her full past she will have to stay with us Sally has been wanting a new playmate for a while now so maybe everything would work out I prepared myself for what would happen next the minute I opened the door but everything was quiet I walked to Splendors room and knocked quietly on his door then waited....

"Mph....I'm coming" a groggy voice said the door opened there Splendor my brother who was the eldest was rubbing his eyes saw me and gave me a confused look

"Slendy? why are you...." he trailed off seeing her in my arms he let me into his room quickly worry replacing the tiredness is his eyes 

"Slender where did you find this child?" Splendor asked I could feel his aura he was trying not to cry seeing the state the girl was in I filled him in on everything the familiar aura the necklace everything despite not having a mouth or a face for that matter I was able to communicate just fine though mind telekinesis after all I'm not a normal demon from this realm none of my brothers or most of my proxies for that matter very few of my proxies are er were human at one point

"Slender you did what was right but it's clear the people after her were evil more evil than us but we can't let her go back" Splendor said he was right then I saw one of his bell creatures looking at her 

"I'll never understand how they're alive or have their own personality he always struggled with his abilities" I thought to myself

"They never seen a child this thin before....." Splendor said snapping me out of my thoughts once more as I saw him wiping a stray tear away I understood he was trying to be brave and tough but for being eldest he's still a child at heart but he never killed anyone he protects those who need it then something happened the girl started to shift as if she was trying to wake up this shocked Splendor and myself greatly

"Ngh..." she seemed to be having trouble with the bright light keeping her eyes shut tightly Splendor got up and dimmed the lights quickly after that her went to his bathroom and came out with a first aid kit as she slowly opened her eyes er well her left eye her right eye covered by her ginger hair she blinked trying to learn where she is then she made eye contact with Splendor

"Hey little one are you okay?" Splendor asked in a soft quiet voice he was great with kids better than anyone else but she didn't answer right away her green eye filled with worry no not worry fear this made me angry "I may be evil but I'm no monster abusing a child is a line not even Zalgo would cross though Zalgo and I are enemies we share a common ground if a child is being abused step in and save them no matter what" I thought

"W....who are you...?" the girl's voice broke me out of my thoughts it was weak breaking as if she never had spoken for a very long time while she sounded scared I thought I heard a hint of joy Splendor got on her level opening the first aid kit

"Don't worry little one your safe here my name is Splendor but you can call me Splendy if you wish my younger brother Slender found you and brought you here so you can rest and recover" Splendor said she seemed a little more relaxed almost hearing that as Splendor started to bandage her arm carefully I noticed dried blood on her clothes more near her arms

"Now little one why were you hurt?" Splendor asked as one of his bell creatures started to nuzzle her face causing her to relax a little bit more seeing she was indeed in a safe environment that's when I noticed that there were a pair of glasses in one of the pockets of her bag

"I was running away....m...my mom went to heaven....I...I don't know my dad...." she said surprising us greatly "she's an orphan? could the people yelling be workers at an orphanage?" I thought I hoped that wasn't the case

"Please don't take me back there...." she said shaking slightly her voice was filled with fear "what in Zalgo's name did she go though?" I thought as Splendor tried to calm her down a bit yet her aura was getting stronger somehow could she be like us? it would explain many things like her aura being like my proxies then I saw the necklace again I mentally slapped myself for not realizing it sooner one of my proxies named Tails Doll once told me about a little girl who fixed a tear he had on his back and wore the exact same necklace she has on

"There there little one you're safe you're not going back we promise" Splendor said she calmed down from the episode she just had then she held out her necklace pressing a button on the side a click was heard as it opened up like it was unlocked then a tranquil tune started to play softly as I called Tails Doll over to Splendor's room

"Okay I'm on my way Slender" Tails Doll said maybe this could be the girl he told me about after all if she is Tails Doll will have a reunion but won't like how she looks now I can only hope that he can give us answers to why she's like this...

"Can you give us your name little one?" Splendor asked she wiped away her tears and tried to calm down

"Bethany...m-my name is Bethany" she said then there was a soft knock on the door 

"Right on cue" I thought as Splendor opened the door and Tails Doll flew in when he locked eyes with Bethany the jewel on his head went from ruby red to ocean blue and flew a little closer to her

"Bethany...?" Tails Dolls finally spoke then Bethany's eyes widen finally realizing who Tails Doll was a small smile formed as fresh tears fell from her cheeks

"Tails Doll!" Bethany said her voice cracking once more as Tails Doll hugged her his jewel now a sunflower yellow showing his joy to see his old friend once more after being apart for who knows how long then he noticed the bandages

"Why are you hurt?! who hurt you?! how are you here?!" Tails Doll asked his jewel now a deep ruby red angry that someone might've hurt his friend I never seen him this angry before Bethany must mean a lot to him for him to be so worried

"Tails Doll Slender can tell you how she's here and so on" Splendor said Tails Doll jewel slowly lightened in color back to its normal ruby red as I explained how she was here and why I noticed that his jewel once again was going back to that deep ruby red

"Bethany what's that place called...?" Tails Doll asked trying to keep from snapping at his friend and scaring her more he really cares for her and I can understand why she helped him so he owes her for fixing the tear he had

"It's called m-madam's home for boys and girls w-why?" Bethany asked sounding scared looking at Tails Doll jewel

"I'm going to get them a peace of my mind..." Tails Doll said floating to the door I knew he would be there for awhile I should inform the other pastas about Bethany and Tails Doll relation with her

"Don't worry Bethany Tails Doll will be back for now lets get you into some new clothes" Splendor said Bethany's eyes lit up at the idea and nodded that's when I noticed her hair was covering her right eye I didn't think much of it then Splendor with care picked Bethany up and headed to our other brother Trender's room I followed after them that's when I saw Eyeless Jack eating a kidney in the kitchen relived he wasn't eating on the couch I walked past him when I remembered the paperwork in my office I facepalmed I was so worried about Bethany I had forgotten about my paperwork I hurriedly entered my office grabbed the paperwork put it on a clipboard then headed to Trenders room hoping for no more surprises

Bethany's POV: as I was trying on new clothes I saw a cute pink and white hat on a stand with a pink and white striped shirt pink with a pink and white coat as well as some blue leggings I tried them on and they fit perfectly! well expect for the coat the sleeves hid my hands they were a little too long but I didn't mind

"Are you alright child?" the nice man asked I think Splendy called him Trender? yeah Trender I said I was okay and that I found something I liked and that he could see now when he entered the walk-in closet I saw his eyes er eye sockets? light up

"You little one have great taste in fashion!" Trender said I smiled and thanked him I remember Tails Doll saying his "Boss" was a tall slender man with no face in a suit and tie it's why I wasn't too scared of him that and he saved me

"Ah! Bethany do you mind if you could show your right eye?" Slender? asked yeah Slender was his name I didn't want to but I had to I carefully moved my ginger hair away the bruise still stung a bit as I slowly opened my right eye it hurt so much to even open it a little bit but I managed to open it fully when they saw my right eye Slender dropped a clipboard that had some papers while Trender went to get something maybe a bandage or something I didn't like my red eye very much or my monkey ears and tail for some reason I don't like them and I have no idea why could it be connected to my dad...?

"Bethany....what...who did this...?" Slender asked softly
