Hey, guys!

<><><>

Peviously...

Rainbow Dash told us the sad story of her family's murder and that her father told her to run away from Rainbow Manor as he was slowly dying.

Years later, the 20-year-old is still on the run and has hitched a ride on the back of a truck on its way to the city of Canterlot. However, the driver has discovered her! How will she get her tired body to Canterlot and keep him alive?!

<><>

Onward! XD

||Rainbow Dash's POV: How To Protect The Innocent (And apparently pervy, lol)||

{Continuing From Chapter One, 10:18am, Still Outside Of Canterlot}

"Hey, you!," the driver of the truck I landed on yells angrily, looking up at me, "What're you do- Heeey. You're pretty hot, lady! But why're you on my truck?"

"Sorry," I say, tired as hell, "But I got tired while flying. You goin' to Canterlot?"

"Flying?!," he asks, after I show my cyan wings, he says, "Wow. And yeah. You want a ride?"

I bite my lip, worried for his safety. Even if the tone of his statement sounded like he wanted to bang me (his expression isn't really helping, either). I sigh and say,

"Yeah, I need to get to Canterlot, but I'm too sleepy to fly there."

"Well, okay then," he says happily as I use my remaining energy to fly to the ground, "hop in!"

He opens the passenger door for me, smiling like a dork. I wanna laugh at his expression, but I don't.

"Thanks," I say, sliding into the passenger seat, "I got the door."

He nods and I close the passenger door. He gets into the truck. As we start driving toward Canterlot, he opens his big mouth.

"So what's a hot gal like you doin' in Canterlot?," he asks, looking me over.

"None of your business," I say flatly, "You like what you see?"

"Yeah," he replies, nodding as we enter Canterlot, "Very much."

"Well that's just too bad, isn't it?," I ask in a bored tone, holding the blade of my katana to his throat, "If you even try to touch me, I'll end you. Now, eyes on the road, buddy."

"Y-yes, m-ma'am!," he says, stuttering in fear, making me roll my eyes, "Where do you w-want to g-go?"

I place my katana back into its holder, which is still strapped to my back. I take a small, white, folded piece of paper from my left back pocket, unfold it, and look at PC's instructions.

"Drop me off in front of the Canterlot Royale Inn," I say matter-of-factly.

He nods, his expression still full of fear. Now I have another problem: keeping him safe from the masked figures that are always after me. But how? Aha! I'll just use that cloaking spell mom taught me. My dad taught me to fight, but my magic comes from my mother's side. I have to make sure the spell is cast correctly because it allows the user to remain untraceable until he/she changes locations. If a person places the spell over him/herself and another person, the other person is protected until the caster changes locations. I close my eyes, inhale slowly, and cast said spell. I exhale in relief, knowing I cast it correctly.

"Well, h-here we a-are," my driver says shakily, stopping the truck and pointing at a huge, fancy building, "The Canterlot Royale Inn."

"Thanks," I say, clutching my little pegasus backpack close to me, "Bye."

I open the door, hop out of the truck, and close the door back without saying another word to him. I walk towards the inn as he pulls off, glancing at the white paper Celestia gave me. It reads:

Dearest Rainbow,

I know fate hasn't been kind to you. I know you want to be alone. However, I had a prophetic dream that you would use your amazing abilities to help keep Equestria in balance. I need your unique skills, Rainbow, to help keep Equestria and its monarchy safe from harm. I am also aware of your problem. Worry not, for we can keep you safe with enchantments. If you do decide to help; here's where I'll be explaining what your job will be:

Canterlot Royale Inn, Cafe Zen/5:00pm

In the meantime, I have arranged for you to stay in the Imperial Suite. Enjoy your time here. I wish you the best.

Love, Princess Celestia

I tried so hard not to cry on the 1st line, but I definitely cracked and sobbed like a baby. Ugh. I can't believe I just admitted that. I look at the last line of the letter:

P.S. - I know you're a bit jumpy, but try not to dice up the other girls. Thank you.

OTHER WHAT?! She didn't say a damn thing about other girls when she called my cell phone (it was in the bag when I was 12 and somehow upgrades as I get older)! Ugh! I wanna just... scream!
