"Ben!" Han called to Kylo.
"Take off that mask, you don't need it."
"What do you think you'll see if I do?" Kylo spat.
"The face of my son," said Han. Rey and Finn watched the two, fear in the pit of their stomachs. Kylo removed his helmet with one swift motion.
"Your son is gone," said Kylo, not sure if he was trying convince himself or Han.
"He was weak and foolish like his father, so I destroyed him." His words were harsh and sharp like a knife.
"That's what snoke wants you to believe, but it's not true, my son is still alive."
Every word Han spoke fell heavy. "No, the Supreme Leader is wise." "Snoke is using you for your power, when he gets what he wants, he'll crush you, you know it's true," said Han, his words in a fatherly tone.
"It's too late," choked Kylo.
"No it's not, leave here with me and come home, we miss you,"said Han, trying to convince his son.
"I'm being torn apart, I want to be free of this pain. I know what I have to do, but I don't know if I have the strength to do it. Will you help me?" It hurt Kylo to ask such a question but he knew that his father would understand.
"Yes, anything," said Han, agreeing to this.
Kylo dropped his helmet, the clang echoing through the walls of the room. Kylo grabbed his lightsaber and handed it to Han. Han grabbed it. They looked at each other.
Kylo saw Han's eyes; he saw no fear for what was about to happen. Then he did it. In one swift motion Han stuck the lightsaber into himself. Ben shot awake, it was a dream.... a nightmare. His bed was wet from his sweat. His body ached with grief and shame from the flashback he just had. He collapsed onto the bed and tried to think, to get his  thoughts back into place.

"Good," said Luke to Ben, who was now trying to fight Rey.
He threw a punch but she ducked his blow. He kept his mind blocked and tried not to pry open hers.
That didn't only take her strength, it took his. Rey tried to kick him but he dodged her. Ben relaxed his muscles to see if Rey relaxed also. That was a mistake.
She flipped him and he slammed hard onto his back.
"I thought I told you to keep your guard up around me," Rey chuckled.
"I'm trying new things, ok?" Ben mumbled.
"I think that's enough for today," said Luke.
Rey trotted down the hill that they were on.
"I'm busy today," said Rey, "but Poe can give you flying lessons if you would like."
"Yeah, that would be fine," Ben replied.
Ben walked down to the base and saw Poe.
"Would you like to teach me how to fly?" said Ben.
"Sure, let's go!" exclaimed Poe.
They went to where the X-wings were, and Poe talked about how the ships worked.

"Hey Leia, need any help with anything?" Rey asked.
"Yes, could you move those boxes over there?" Leia replied.
Rey shifted over to the boxes.
"What are the boys doing?" Leia asked.
"Poe is teaching Ben how to fly," Rey replied.
"That's a good skill to have around here!" said Leia. She laughed.
"What?" asked Rey.
"Just the fact that you and Poe have been so inviting to Ben," replied Leia, "He's been torn for so many years, and it hurts to see your children hurt."
Rey dropped the box she was holding.
"Kind of like you," continued Leia.
She looked up to see a shocked Rey staring at something Leia couldn't see.
"You see me as your daughter?" asked Rey
"Well, of course," replied Leia, "that day I first saw you, I felt your loneliness."
Rey looked at her.
"And you gave me a family, I'm thankful for that."
Then it hit both of them- the awakening.
Rey stormed out of the room.
"Poe! Ben!" yelled Rey.
Ben was already running with a confused Poe behind him.
"You felt it!" she said, running with Ben and Poe
"Yes," Ben replied.
