Keeper of the Lost Cities/The Sisters Grimm: Sokeefe/Puckabrina
Truth or Dare

A/N:
This is a Sisters Grimm (Puckabrina) and Keeper of the Lost Cities (Sokeefe) crossover. It's from my KotLC One Shots book, but I haven't really been updating it, so... *shrugs* Well, here ya go.

The main characters from TSG stumble into the Lost Cities accidentally while playing around with Jake's magic items.

They happen to appear right in the middle of a game of base quest. The KotLC characters offer to help them find their way back, but Keefe convinces everyone to first play a little game of Truth or Dare...

~Shadow

"Puck!" Sabrina shouted, chasing after the fairy. "Give me back that amulet! You don't know what it does!"

"You mean give it back to me," Daphne reminded her.

"Right, sure," Sabrina muttered, then started to run after Puck again. Her addiction to magic made her act weird whenever she held any magic items.

Puck slipped in and out of the trees in the forest, dodging bushes and other plants, all the while laughing. "You can't catch me!" he yelled happily, before running right through a tree.

"Um, What just happened?" Daphne asked Sabrina, slowing to a stop in front of the tree.

"I don't know." Sabrina shrugged. "But we have to get him back."

Daphne smirked at her. "Yeah, you seem pretty anxious to get him back."

"Oh, shut up."

"Where's Red?"

"I guess she went back up to your room. Whatever, it's fine. What can checking hurt?"

"A lot, but sure."

Sabrina stepped forward and attempted to put her hand on the tree trunk, but it passed right through. She shrugged. "Come on, Daph."

And with that, Sabrina Grimm stepped through a portal.

"I tagged you!"

"You did not!"

"Uh, yeah I did!"

"Mmhhmm."

"You're so annoying, Keefe!"

"You're so annoying, Keefe!"

"Stop mimicking my voice!"

"Guys! Stop arguing! I just heard something."

Sophie and Keefe turned to Fitz, momentarily distracted from their argument. "What?" they both asked, then shot annoyed looks at each other.

Biana rolled her eyes. "What has gotten into you? Is this a lovers' quarrel or something?" She had stopped liking Keefe a while ago and was now debating on Tam or Dex.

They both blushed and glared at her.

"What are you talking about?"

"I have no idea what you mean."

Biana just smiled, knowing that Sokeefe would happen soon enough.

"Guys!" Fitz exclaimed. "Will you listen?"

They turned back to him.

"I heard something. It sounded odd," Fitz explained.

"Like what?" Dex asked, coming their way. He'd been on Sophie's team and had been guarding their base.

Tam and Linh followed.

"It sounded like...I don't know, believe it or not, it sounded like a portal."

Everyone looked at him weirdly, but they soon heard another noise that did sound like a portal opening and closing.

"Want to go check it out?" Linh asked nervously.

"Definitely!" Keefe said. "This'll be fun!"

"You never know," Tam said. "It could be the Neverseen and then we'd be in big trouble."

"Oh, be quiet, Bangs Boy. We all know you just want to protect Biana."

Tam turned red and Biana looked confused. "I don't know what you're talking about," he mumbled.

"Suuuuure you don't," Keefe said, nudging Sophie and laughing.

She laughed too, and to him, it was a wonderful sound (not that he would ever admit that).

"Can we just go check this out?" Fitz asked. "What if it's something bad?"

"Okay, okay," Keefe said. "Let's go."

They walked toward the area where they'd heard the sound come from.

***

"Aha! Got it!" Daphne triumphantly grabbed the amulet out of Puck's hand, who was lying on his stomach on the grass, Daphne's foot holding him down.

He sighed. "I was just trying to have some fun!"

Daphne crossed her arms. "You took us through a portal!"

"I did?"

"Yeah. Now how do we get back?"

Sabrina walked up to them, frowning. "Where even are we?"

The three glanced around at the forest they were in, Puck still lying on the ground.

Daphne shrugged. "Who knows?"

Then they heard voices and footsteps.

"Who do you think it is?" Sabrina asked her sister. "The Scarlet Hand?!"

"Oh, come on. Of course it's not them!" Puck said, rolling his eyes from his spot on the grass, but even he looked worried.

"You caused this!" Sabrina exclaimed, pointing an accusing finger at him.

"I did not! I was just trying to have some fun! You two are so serious!" the fairy grumbled. "Daphne, get your foot off my back!"

That's when a group of kids about their age burst through the trees, looking ready to fight some evil force.

Sabrina, Daphne, and Puck stared at them.

They stared back, having no idea what to say.

Finally, Puck sprang up, knocking Daphne backwards, and announced, "I'm Puck, King of Faerie, nice to meet ya."

Sabrina snapped out of her stupor. "I'm Sabrina Grimm and that's my sister, Daphne."

A blonde-haired girl stepped away from the strange group of kids. She frowned uncertainly. "You guys don't look like you're from here. Are you...humans?"

Sabrina blinked.

Puck laughed. "If we were humans, then that would be a very bad thing to say!"

A guy with messy hair and ice blue eyes stepped up next to the girl. Daphne immediately shipped them.

"Then what are you?" he asked. "And who?"

"And how'd you get here?" another guy with dark brown hair and startling teal eyes asked.

Sabrina glared at Puck. "Long story short, Puck here decided to run away with a very powerful magic amulet, and we ended up here."

He raised his hands up in defense. "As I've already said twice, I was just trying to have fun."

She rolled her eyes. "And look where that got you."

***

Sophie immediately shipped the two, and she could tell the little girl, Daphne, did too.

She raised an eyebrow in Daphne's direction, transmitting, Do they have a ship name?

Oddly, Daphne didn't seem surprised as she thought, Yup. It's Puckabrina. I'm suspecting that they've kissed, but I've never seen it, so I'm just hoping currently. Hey, do you and that guy that's standing next to you have a ship name?

Sophie turned red, her jaw dropping. Daphne smiled cheekily.

No, we don't, she transmitted fiercely. We don't like each other.

Fitz butted into the conversation and thought, Are you sure? Then he transmitted the thought to Daphne.

Sophie turned to glare at him. She knew Fitz liked Linh, and Linh probably liked him back. Sophie herself didn't like Fitz anymore, for some reason.

Yeah, I'm sure, she responded.

No, she's probably not, Daphne said, directing her thoughts towards Fitz.

Yeah, probably not, he agreed.

Keefe stepped up, looking annoyed. "Enough secret Telepath conversations!"

Daphne squealed and bit the palm of her hand. "Oooh, do you guys have different kinds of powers?! We don't—not counting Puck—but we're Everafters!"

Keefe looked at Sophie quizzically, but she just shrugged.

"We haven't even introduced ourselves," Sophie realized. "I'm Sophie, and that's Keefe and Fitz." She pointed.

"I'm Tam," Tam said, speaking for the first time since they'd arrived at this spot. "And that's my twin, Linh."

"I'm Biana, Fitz's sister, and that's Dex, Sophie's adopted cousin," Biana said.

"Powers?" Daphne asked excitedly.

"We call them abilities," Sophie said uneasily. "I'm a Telepath. I'm also a Polyglot, meaning I can speak any language, an Inflictor, meaning I can inflict things on people, and I'm an Enhancer, which means I can enhance people's abilities when they touch my hands, which is why I'm wearing gloves. I can also teleport. Keefe's an Empath, Fitz is also a Telepath, Biana's a Vanisher, which means she can appear and disappear. Dex is a Technopath, which means he can basically understand technology and build really cool things and stuff. Tam is a Shade, which he can explain to you because it's too confusing, Linh's a Hydrokinetic, which means she can control the water."

"THAT'S SO COOL!" Daphne exclaimed.

Dex pointed to them. "What about you?"

Daphne took a deep breath, seemingly getting ready for a long speech. "Well, you see, Sabrina and I used to be normal kids that lived in New York City with our parents, but then our parents mysteriously disappeared and we were taken to an orphanage. The search for our parents was called off in a while, since no one could find them, while Sabrina and I switched orphanages for two years, running away from any foster parents that our caseworker, Ms. Smirt found for us. Those foster parents were usually crazy people, like 'reformed' murderers and people who thought their toilet was haunted and people who made us sleep with ferrets.

"Then a call came in from a woman that called herself Grandma Grimm, claiming that she was our grandma, but that couldn't've been right because our grandma had died a long time ago. So we didn't want to go, but she took us to this little town where she lived, Ferryport Landing. Turns out that Ferryport Landing is full of fairy tale characters, or so we thought they were. They like to be called Everafters, though. The term 'fairy tale character' doesn't sit well with them."

Daphne wrinkled her nose. "It doesn't sit well with me either. Anyway, Sabrina and I tried to escape, well, Sabrina tried to escape and was determined to drag me along with her. But Mr. Canis, Granny's good friend, never let us. Apparently, Granny said, our family, the Grimms, are fairy tale detectives or whatever. That means that any crime or mystery related to anything magical and Everafter-y, we help solve and fix. We didn't believe it at first, but then Granny and Mr. Canis were taken off by a giant, we met Puck, Mr. Canis turned out to be the Big Bad Wolf, we solved a bunch of mysteries and then had a war with the Scarlet Hand, who are this evil group of Everafters.

"At some point during the war, Mr. Canis wrote the whole family of Grimms into the Book of Everafter, which is a huge book of every single fairy tale, and you can literally go into it. Anyway, so now we're basically Everafters and we can choose if we don't want to grow up or if we do. We also have a dog named Elvis, he's huge and he's awesome, but he didn't get to come with us here." She laughed. "Neither did my friend Red, aka Red Riding Hood."

Sophie and her friends stood stunned.

"Okay...wow. I have no idea what to say," Biana muttered. "What are fairy tales?"

Daphne and Sabrina's jaws dropped, and Puck just looked insulted.

Sophie looked at them apologetically. "These are the Lost Cities. Elves like them have no idea what fairy tales are; the Lost Cities are a completely different world. I only know what fairy tales are because I grew up with humans, crazy as it sounds." She laughed.

"What about him?" Keefe asked, pointing to Puck.

In response, Puck spun on his heel, turned into a wolf, and spun around again. Back in his normal form, a pair of wings sprung out of his back and he flapped them up into the air.

"Awesome," Keefe said. He turned to the rest of the group. "I like him." He looked back to Puck. "Hey dude, do you like pranking?"

Everyone groaned.

"Heck yeah!" Puck exclaimed, drifting down to the ground. He stuck out his hand. "Wanna make a pranking team?"

Keefe just grinned and shook his hand.

Everyone groaned again.

Daphne cleared her throat. "I've got to make Puckabrina known."

Both Puck and Sabrina glared at her, blushing.

She shrugged. "Sorry. It's too much of an amazing ship."

Sophie noticed Sabrina look away. I wonder what she's thinking about? Well, there's only one way to find out.

Even though she knew it was wrong, Sophie looked into Sabrina's mind.

She saw the memory of the Kiss, the one that she's been hiding for a while. For some reason, they were surrounded by chimps, but Sophie didn't exactly care.

"Yes!" she cried. "Puckabrina is real!"

"What!" Sabrina exclaimed. "What do you mean?"

Sophie grinned and tapped her temples. "I'm a Telepath, remember?"

A slightly panicked look spread over Puck's face, and he turned red.

Daphne's eyes turned as big as saucers. "WAIT. SERIOUSLY?!"

Sophie nodded.

Keefe high-fived her. "Way to go, Foster!"

"She's lying," Puck and Sabrina said at the same time. "She's definitely lying."

Sabrina looked to Daphne. "She's just a major shipper like you. Don't believe her. Nothing happened."

"Mmhmm." Sophie smiled. "Keep telling yourself that."

"We should play Truth or Dare!" Keefe exclaimed. "Am I right, or am I right?"

"We should," Fitz agreed, as did Tam, Linh, Biana, Dex, and Daphne.

Sophie was a little uneasy, and she could tell Sabrina and Puck were too.

"But...we have to get back," Sabrina protested.

Keefe waved a hand dismissively. "We'll figure that out later," he said. "For now, let's have some fun!"

Puck sighed but agreed. "I've done this before and it didn't go well..." he muttered.

"Fine," Sabrina said. "But no sketchy dares. Or truths for that matter."

Daphne grinned at her deviously. "Oh, we've been over this. You know the rules," she sang happily and ran off after the others.

Sabrina trudged next to Sophie, dragging her feet.

"I feel you," Sophie offered.

***

Sabrina, Puck, and Daphne followed the group of elves to Everglen, wherever that was.

"What's Everglen?" Daphne asked Sophie, right before seeing it.

"Fitz's house," she responded. "His parents aren't here right now, so we can play Truth or Dare there."

"That's a HOUSE?" Daphne cried, her eyes widening. "It's huge!"

"You should see mine," Keefe offered. "It has about 200 floors."

Daphne stared at him. "What."

Fitz and Biana, who had walked into Everglen first, bolted out.

"What?" Keefe asked.

Fitz shook his head. "Looks like they had a change of plans. They're here."

Sophie groaned. "Okay, well then we'll go to...Rimeshire."

Dex shook his head. "Remember the triplets? They won't leave us alone."

"Definitely not my house," Keefe mumbled.

Everyone looked to Sophie.

"What?"

"Then we go to Havenfield," Fitz said.

"No way," Sophie protested. "Uh-uh."

"Come ooooooooonnnnnnn," Keefe complained. "Pleeeaaaaase?"

She glared at him. "No."

Biana frowned. "Then we'll just tell Grady you like Keefe."

"What? But I–I don't," Sophie said, glaring at her friend.

"Mmhmm."

Keefe fanned the air around him. "Your emotions say something else."

Sabrina, Daphne, and Puck watched in amusement.

Sophie huffed. "Fine. Edaline isn't at home but Grady is, so watch yourselves." She shot a pointed look at Keefe when she said that.

He shrugged. "Hey, it's not my fault I'm amazing." No one responded to that as Sophie pulled out her home crystal and they all linked arms.

"What are you doing?" Daphne asked nervously.

"We're going to leap to Havenfield," Linh replied. "Just trust us." She held out a hand for Daphne, which meant that Puck and Sabrina had to hold hands.

In a flash, they were in a completely different place. It was like teleporting. And elves could do this whenever they wanted?

That was amazing!

***

When they got to Havenfield, Sophie saw the three Everafters stumble back in awe. After a bunch of excited squealing from Daphne and Puck and Sabrina wanting to see every single animal, Grady came outside.

"Heeeeeey," Sophie began, motioning for Biana, who immediately knew what to do. She came in contact with Sabrina, Puck, and Daphne, and they disappeared.

"What are all of you doing here?" Grady asked. "I thought you were playing base quest?"

"We got bored," Fitz offered.

"Yeah," Dex chimed in. "Extremely bored."

"So bored I had to sit in the shadows and watch them being bored," Tam added.

Everyone looked at him weirdly.

"Anyway," Linh said, "we came here to play a game and hang out."

"What game?" Grady asked.

Linh looked to Sophie for help.

"We don't know yet," she lied. "We were just bored so we came here because Everglen got, uh, boring"—Grady raised an eyebrow at this— "and the triplets would bother us at Rimeshire, and obviously we're not going to Candleshade... So yeah."

"Well, I have to go feed Verdi and then get the new raptor adjusted. Edaline asked if you could make some mallowmelt. The list of ingredients and instructions are on the counter."

"Okay."

The group walked awkwardly inside. "We can play Truth or Dare while baking," Keefe suggested.

"I like how you think," Puck said, and they high-fived each other.

"What a wonderful idea," Biana commented dryly. "Let's see how this goes."

It actually went the most interesting for her, since she was dared to throw flour in Tam's face which started a huge battle, everyone throwing ingredients at each other.

Sophie threw a final handful in Keefe's face, then said, "Um guys? We should probably get this cleaned up before either one of my parents gets back..."

They all looked around in wonder at the mess they'd made. Splatters were all over the walls, furniture, and themselves.

"Yeah, probably," Keefe agreed, attempting to wipe flour and caramel off of his face. "Grady's going to find some way to blame this on me."

Linh did her best to wash everything using her Hydrokinesis—making Fitz and Dex go "wow..."—Biana turned invisible and sneaked outside past Grady to get a bunch of cleaning supplies; Sophie, Fitz, and Keefe used telekinesis to help Linh; Dex created a gadget that looked exactly like a vacuum cleaner to Sophie; Puck flew around and flapped his wings, directing the flour and lighter ingredients into a pile in the middle of the floor, all the while muttering about how they were forcing him to work; and Sabrina and Daphne ran around cleaning whatever they could with the supplies Biana had brought back.

About two hours later, it was getting dark outside and the while ground floor was sparkling clean and a fresh plate of mallowmelt—along with custard bursts they'd found the recipe for—were sitting on the table, ready to eat, and just in time.

Grady walked in mere moments after they'd finished, and he looked extremely impressed. "I still have a lot of work to do outside," he said, "but wow that mallowmelt and those custard bursts look amazing!"

The group headed to the third floor, all of which was Sophie's room, as he was eating.

"Save some for me and Edaline," Sophie told him.

"I will."

"No he won't," she said, walking into her room.

Once again, Puck, Sabrina, and Daphne were amazed beyond words.

Once they had calmed down, everyone sat down in a circle on the flowery carpet.

"Don't worry," Sophie told Sabrina, who was looking out the window at the dark sky. "Time runs faster in the Lost Cities than it does in the Forbidden Cities."

"Okay, who's first?" Biana asked.

"Me!" Keefe and Puck exclaimed at the same time.

"You can go," Keefe told him.

"No it's fine, you can," Puck responded.

"No really, I insist."

"Well I also insist."

"I don't even want to go anymore; you can go."

"Nah you're just saying that, it's fine, it's your world."

"But you're the gues—"

"Shut up!" Biana ordered. "I'll go first. Hmm... Daphne, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare!" she replied immediately.

"I dare you to stuff ice cubes into your mouth for a whole minute."

Daphne's face paled, but she agreed anyway. "Fine. Someone bring the ice, I probably won't even find my way downstairs."

So Sophie went and got a small cupful of ice, enough to fit into Daphne's mouth.

"Ready...set...go!" Sabrina said, looking at the watch on her wrist.

Somehow, Daphne held out for a full minute before spitting them all out and running around the room yelling, "BRAIN FREEZE!!! MOUTH FREEZE!!! AAAAHH!!!"

When she could feel her mouth again, she said, "Okay, Keefe, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to...wet your hair and put shampoo in it, but don't rinse it off."

Keefe's eyes widened in horror and his hands instinctively went up to guard the Hair. "I never knew little girls could be so evil..."

She just smiled sweetly at him.

"I can't do this!" Keefe wailed. "My hair! My poor hair!"

"There, there," Sophie said, patting his shoulder (un)sympathetically. "I'll go get the shampoo and water."

She grabbed the cup that ice had been in and went into the bathroom to fill it up with water, also grabbing a bottle of shampoo.

She walked back up behind Keefe and unceremoniously dumped the cup of cold water over his head and he screamed.

Biana, Dex, and Puck were already on the ground laughing so hard they were crying and Sabrina, Fitz, Linh, and Daphne were trying not to topple over with laughter too.

Tam seemed to enjoy Keefe's torture very very much.

Sophie held up the shampoo bottle and Keefe tried to push it away but she squirted a bunch out onto his head. Keefe wailed again.

She started spreading it all over his hair while he was trying to push her away. The whole room smelled strongly of lemon-raspberry scent.

Biana took Sophie's iPod from a shelf and took a picture, and Sabrina took out her iPhone from her pocket to do the same.

In the end, you could barely tell that Keefe had a bunch of shampoo in his hair, except for the scent and how messed up the Hair was now.

"This is horriiiiiibbbblllllleeeeeee," he complained. "Puck, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to talk non-stop for the next twenty minutes."

Puck shared a grin with Sabrina. "This'll be fun!" He snickered right after he said that and so did Sabrina.

"They're both completely obsessed with Hamilton," Daphne explained. "And that's a reference from the sixteenth song, which is why they're laughing. I only know that 'cause they both either sing or play all the songs except like three of them because they say they'll start crying if they do."

"What's Hamilton?" all the elves except for Sophie asked.

Sophie just gasped. "I've always wanted to see Hamilton!"

Meanwhile, Puck was on the second verse of the first song. "The ten-dollar founding father without a father got a lot farther by working a lot harder, by being a lot smarter, by being a self-starter, by fourteen, they placed him in charge of a trading charter."

He continued on.

"Should we all just watch him, or...?" Biana asked. "This sounds interesting. But there's also like no room to breathe between sentences."

"There woulda been nothing left to do for someone less astute, he woulda been dead or destitute without a cent of restitution," Puck sang. "Started workin', clerkin' for his late mother's landlord, trading sugarcane and rum and all the things he can't afford."

"Did you two memorize everything?" Sophie asked Sabrina.

She nodded. "Yup."

"How long did that take??"

"The more important question is," Keefe cut in, "How much alone time did you guys get while you were memorizing the songs?"

Sabrina went silent for a moment. Puck didn't, but only because he wasn't allowed to.

"I bet he's gonna start showing off and rapping Guns and Ships after this one," Daphne said, rolling her eyes.

Sure enough:

"How does a ragtag volunteer army..."

"Wait till he gets to Lafayette's part," Sabrina told them. "I could never do that one, but somehow he can."

"EVERYONE GIVE IT UP FOR AMERICA'S FAVORITE FIGHTING FRENCHMAN!" Puck shouted right on cue.

"Lafayette!" Sabrina joined in.

"I'm taking this horse by the reins making redcoats redder with bloodstains."

"Lafayette!"

"And I'm never gonna stop until I make 'em drop and burn 'em up and scatter their remains, I'm—"

"Lafayette!"

"Watch me engagin' 'em! Escapin' 'em! Enragin' 'em! I'm—"

"Lafayette!"

"I go to France for more funds!"

We let Puck continue and Sabrina stopped chiming in.

"He better dare me something," Sophie said.

"Why?" Dex asked.

She grinned. "No reason."

We watched as Puck continued on with Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down), then Non-stop, then What'd I miss?, both Cabinet Battles, and finally the Adams Administration.

"How does Hamilton, the short-tempered Protean creator of the Coast Guard, founder of the New York Post, ardently abuse his cab'net post, destroy his reputation? Welcome folks, to the Adams Administration!"

"Extended version?" Sabrina asked him.

All he could do was nod and she joined in when he got to:

Hamilton publishes his response—

An open letter to the fat,
Arrogant,
Anti-charismatic,
National embarrassment
Known as President John Adams.

The man's irrational, he claims that I'm in league
With Britain in some vast, international intrigue
B*tch, please
You wouldn't know what I'm doin',
You're always going berserk,
But you never show up to work,
Give my regards to Abigail
Next time you write about my lack of moral compass,
At least I do my job up in this rumpus!

Aaaaand they started rapping, Sabrina miraculously keeping up.

The line is behind me,
I crossed it again,
Well the President lost it again!
Aww such a rough life,
Better run to ya wife,
Yo the boss is in Boston again
Lemme ask you a question: Who sits
At your desk when you're in Massachusetts?
They were calling you a d*ck back in '76
And you haven't done anything new since,
You nuisance with no sense,
You will die of irrelevance.
Go ahead and call me the Devil,
You aspire to my level,
You aspire to malevolence,
Say hi to the Jeffersons,
And the spies all around me,
Maybe they can confirm
I don't care if I kill my career with this letter,
I'm confining you to one term,
You fat motherf—

They stopped there while everyone stared at the two in silence.

Then Keefe started clapping, and everyone else joined in.

"See?" Daphne said. "I told you they're perfect for each other!"

Puck and Sabrina turned red and Puck cleared his throat. "Uh, anyway, wow my voice hurts, if that makes sense. Sophie, Truth or Dare?"

"Truth," she answered, internally screaming happily that he had picked her. She had plans.

Everyone groaned.

"You had to ruin it?" Keefe asked.

"I'm not taking the risk," she told him.

"What was the worst encounter you had with a police officer?" Puck asked.

"Ours was weird," Daphne added. "He turned into a pig. Then there's also that time when we scared the deputy by pretending to be the Headless Horseman."

"Okay..." Fitz said. "That's, uh, interesting."

(4444 words!)

Sophie grinned. "I was a little kid when it happened, but my family and I had gone to Portillo's and there was a policeman there. Y'know how sometimes they just sit in a car and watch people on the road? Well, I somehow wandered off and walked outside of Portillo's. The cop came out of his car and he asked me where my family was. I must've thought that he was trying to kill me because as soon as he picked me up I kicked him in the face and made his nose bleed."

"Seriously?" Keefe asked. "You were one tough baby."

"I was three."

"Same thing."

"Okay, Sabrina, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare...?" Sabrina asked hesitantly.

Yes! Sophie thought. Yes yes yes! "I dare you and Puck to kiss."

Puck's jaw dropped. "This is her Dare, not mine!"

"Sucks for you," Sophie shot back.

"I'm not doing it," they both said at the same time.

"The punishment for not doing a Dare is to go jump in a pile of Verdi the T. Rex's poop," Keefe said. "And Glitter Butt's sparkly feces."

"Say what now?" Sabrina asked, duly horrified.

"Yup."

***

"...Fine. But ONLY because I really don't want to jump into a pile of poo," Sabrina said, and Daphne squeaked happily and hugged Sophie.

"You are officially my favorite person," she said.

"Three," Keefe said.

"Two," Biana counted down.

"One!" Sophie exclaimed, and before Puck and Sabrina could do anything, Daphne pushed their heads together.

"Sorry," she told the rest of the group. "I got excited."

Puck and Sabrina held the kiss longer than was needed, then automatically pushed away from each other, spluttering.

"Eww," Puck complained.

"That was horrible," Sabrina added.

Neither of them were willing to admit that they actually liked it.

"One more Truth or Dare and then they have to go back," Sophie said, still grinning from Puck and Sabrina's kiss. "Their parents are probably going to be worried by now."

"Perfect," Sabrina said in an evil tone. "Now I can get you back!"

"You can what?"

"I'm going to ask you a really embarrassing tru—oh wait no I can't say."

"I pick Dare," Sophie immediately said.

"Ha! I tricked you." Sabrina high-fived Puck, though they were still blushing.

***

"Oh no," Sophie groaned. "Wonderful."

"I dare you and Keefe to kiss," Sophie said triumphantly. "And he has to put his hands on your waist and you have to put your hands in his hair and yeah."

Sophie gaped at her. "Yeah, no way."

"Silveny poop," Tam reminded her.

"Noooooo. I haaaaate this! Whyyyyy????" Sophie complained, knowing she was turning red.

"Three," Puck warned.

Sophie sighed and turned to Keefe.

"Two," Daphne said, grinning.

Keefe tentatively out his hands on her waist.

"Does that mean I have to touch his shampoo hair?" Sophie asked.

"It's your fault," Keefe said, shrugging, but anyone could tell he was nervous.

"One-and-a-half!"

Sophie sighed again and reached up to tangle her hands in his hair.

"One-and-one-fourth," Linh said.

Keefe and Sophie locked eyes.

"One!"

***

Sabrina grabbed her phone so quickly she didn't recognize her own speed.

Keefe and Sophie were kissing, and she needed to take pictures. She already had more than a hundred of Everglen and Havenfield.

Everyone cheered as the two pulled apart and sat as far away as they could from each other.

"Selfie?" Sabrina asked. "For memories?"

"What's a selfie?" Fitz asked.

The rest of the elves—except for Sophie—looked just as confused.

"Just gather around," Sabrina told them, aiming the camera towards their faces.

Keefe and Sophie were in the middle, and Daphne popped up between them in the last moment; Puck was standing next to Sabrina and giving her bunny ears—she didn't notice that until later—Tam stood at he far edge of the picture, halfway shrouded by shadows; Linh and Fitz were standing next to each other, Linh making a small dolphin of water in front of her; Dex and Biana were next to them, Biana with her waving hand halfway between vanishing and solid, making it look like a ghost had touched it.

"Everyone say 'cheese!'" Sabrina exclaimed.

***

There had been lots of goodbyes and hugs, and Sophie had taken the blue-leaping-crystal-that-she-wasn't-supposed-to-have and transported Sabrina, Puck, and Daphne safely back to Ferryport Landing.

"Girls! Puck! Where have you been?" Granny Relda exclaimed as they came running out of the forest.

"Oh, nowhere," Daphne told her. "Just here and there."
