Chapter 34
A/N:
Guys. 444 votes. 😱😱 Also I probably won't update for a little while because I'm in North Carolina with my older sister who's 25 and I won't really have time.

Ember's POV:
I glanced at Sabrina as Relda hugged Puck. She'd told me about what he'd told her had happened at the Scarlet Hand's hideout and I was as worried as she was.
Another thing... she was actually really nice. I honestly hadn't expected her to be, for whatever reason, but I just couldn't hate her.
"Where???" Daphne asked, jumping up and down impatiently and bringing me out of my thoughts.
"You all remember when we trapped a lot of the members of the Hand in the fortress?" Relda asked.
"Yeah," Sabrina said. Then her eyes widened. "Do you think—"
"We did build an underground section," the woman agreed, nodding.
"And the barrier went down... so they must be contacting other Everafters to help them for revenge or whatever. They must've talked to the Widow," Jake said.
"And maybe Mordred and Morgan are still there!" Daphne exclaimed, grinning widely. "We could use their help!"
"It won't be that easy," Puck spoke up. "I've seen some of the areas and tunnels underground and it's really confusing."
Daphne shrugged, still happy. "We'll find a way. Don't be negative, Puck."
He frowned at her and Sabrina smirked at him, then looked almost as if she was silently talking to him.
He glared at her, then turned back to the adults. "Trust me, there are some tunnels you do not want to go in."
Sabrina frowned and I was the only one who saw her secretly take his hand in hers.
"We'll see if we can send out a few scouts tomorrow," Relda said. "But today everyone deserves some rest."
"But the Scarlet Hand—" Daphne started.
Relda shook her head. "No. Rest. Go to your rooms, play Truth or Dare, just don't do anything involving the Scarlet Hand."
Daphne frowned but didn't argue. Then she paused. "Now that Pinocchio's back, where's he gonna sleep?"
Red jumped up. "I'm on it!" she exclaimed. "I have a magic wand that creates things. We can make an adjoining room!"
"Uh, no," Daphne complained. "Why adjoining?"
Red pretended to look confused and it seemed to work. "Because we're friends?"
Daphne huffed. "Yeah, whatever. We'll work on that. Ember, we can make a room for you too if you want."
I nodded. This was actually nice. I was being accepted and no one thought I was a monster.
I grinned and followed Red, Daphne, and Pinocchio upstairs.
Sabrina's POV:
Elvis followed me as I walked into the living room along with Puck.
"Might as well find something to read," I murmured to myself.
"No Scarlet Hand research!" Granny Relda called after us.
"Yeah, yeah." I turned my attention to a shelf with non-fairy tale books in it.
"Can we blast Hamilton music?" Puck asked. "Or maaaayyybbbbeeeee watch Supernatural?"
I shook my head. "Granny, Mom, and Dad would probably freak if they saw us watching it. I don't think they like that a person dies in like the first minute of every episode."
Puck rolled his eyes. "Sherlock?"
"We finished all those."
"Doctor Who?"
I hesitated, but then shook my head. "No TV for now. Read."
"But I caaaaaaan't," Puck complained. "You know I'm allergic to books."
"Yeah well, you'd better get un-allergic if you want us to be...together."
Puck stuck his tongue out at me. "Meanie."
I frowned at him and started looking through the non-fairy tale books until I found a Sherlock mystery. If I had finished the TV show—don't get me wrong I always rewatch episodes—then I could read some of the actual books.
Puck scooted away from me when I sat down next to him on the couch, flipping my book open.
After a few minutes he groaned. "I'm so booooooorrrrrreeeeed."
"Sucks for you."
"Why are you so mean?"
I shrugged. "Only for you."
"Thanks," he answered dryly.
I took out my iPod and plugged in my earphones. (A/N: Because I'm weird I call them earphones.)
"What are you listening to?" Puck asked, leaning over to see but making sure not to touch the book.
I shoved him away. "Music. Now shoo. Do your own thing."
He groaned again and flopped halfway off the couch, looking at me upside down. "Sabriiiinnnnaaaaa."
"Be quiet."
"Assbutt."
I ignored him and kept reading.
Daphne's POV:
I stood on the stairs and watched as Puck and Sabrina argued. Finally she smacked him on the head with her book and he started sneezing.
I bit my lip to keep from laughing and looked over at Red, Ember, and Pinocchio next to me. "They're so cute," I said.
"Pinaphne is cute," Red murmured and I glared at her. She ignored me and kept on, "I still don't know if it should be Pinaphne or Dinocchio." She shrugged and looked at me innocently.
I growled and looked hopefully at Ember, sincerely thinking that she didn't ship it, but she grinned at me and made a heart with her hands.
Red hugged her happily.
I narrowed my eyes angrily and placed my arms on the railing, resting my head on them. I kept watching Puckabrina and pretended that Red and Ember weren't interrogating Pinocchio.
I was about to suggest we play Truth or Dare, then remembered what had happened to Puck and Sabrina. I decided to stay on the safe side.
"Let's go see if Granny made any food."
Elvis's POV:
I wondered if there was any sausage left.
